I am tired of wars I never chose,
of borders drawn through the veins of people
who only ever wanted to breathe freely.
I am tired of shouting into a wind
that carries my words away
before they land where they are needed.
I want peace—
not the kind written in speeches,
not the kind that vanishes in headlines,
but the kind you can hold in your hands,
like your child’s laughter
or a stranger’s kindness on a dark night.
Human rights should not be fragile.
They should not crack like glass
when touched by greed or fear.
They should be strong as the bones
we all share beneath our skin.
But every day,
I see the cracks widen—
injustice, hunger, silence.
And still,
I gather the pieces with trembling hands,
because I cannot stop believing
that peace is possible,
that dignity belongs to all of us.
I am searching,
even when the world is loud with cruelty,
even when my hope feels thin as paper.
I am searching,
because to give up
would be to surrender
the very breath that makes me human.
Human rights are not luxuries,
they are not favors handed down
from thrones or offices.
They are the bones of our being,
the quiet truth that says:
I am here. I matter.
Yet how often they are traded
like currency,
weighed against profit,
bent under fear.
How often silence becomes cheaper
than justice.
But still—
in streets lit by protest fires,
in whispers carried across borders,
in the steady gaze of those
who refuse to disappear—
they rise.
A right is not a law,
not ink on paper,
but a pulse,
a voice that will not quiet
even when the world
tries to cover its mouth.
And peace—
true peace—
cannot live without them.
It is not the absence of war,
but the presence of dignity,
the recognition of each life
as unshakably equal.
So we keep standing,
hands open,
voices loud,
building a world
where rights are not a dream to chase
but the ground beneath our feet.

The people started marching
they came from everywhere
Armed with words of freedom
revolution in the air
They joined in every corner
across their precious land
They all agreed the time had come
they had to take a stand
The country was divided
and teetered on the edge
Of losing its democracy
betraying its own pledge
It used to be a beacon
an oasis in the sand
Desired by so many
its shores a freedom land
But tyranny had taken hold
at stake, democracy
People knew intangibles
never came for free
And so from many, there was one
it was the day and hour
They came to show the watching world
the people have the power

Where does the butterfly go
when lightning rails
when thunder howls
when hailstones scream
when winter scowls
when nights compound dark frosts with snow
where does the butterfly go?
Where does the rose hide its bloom
when night descends oblique and chill,
beyond the capacity of moonlight to fill?
When the only relief’s a banked fire’s glow,
where does the butterfly go?
And where shall the spirit flee
when life is harsh, too harsh to face,
and hope is lost without a trace?
Oh, when the light of life runs low,
where does the butterfly go?
by Michael R. Burch
In my opinion, the most important human rights are the human rights of children to grow up without becoming the victims of racism, inequality, injustice, homelessness, malnutrition, starvation or war. I agree with Gandhi, who said that if we want to live in a better world, we need to start with the children.

the price of freedom Is Bloodshed
We pay for freedom with Bloodshed
We living free cause of Bloodshed
More bloodshed, more bloodshed
Ideas of freedom got people shot in the head dead
I’m not saying anything another never said
Give me liberty or give me death
Slaves even had to steal it, and so they left
But it was bloodshed, That paved the way
And it was bloodshed that made them stay
And it was bloodshed that made them fight
And it’s bloodshed that gives - freedom LIGHT
Somebodies gonna pay, see that’s GODs WAY
I didn’t make the rules, I just play

Rose, from the dreams

Breathing should be easy
Yet somehow it's the most difficult action
We shouldn't have to remind ourselves
Yet here we are
But what is the point when the world has its knees on our neck
Why fight a battle that strips us of our weapons
The expectations to submit
To actions unfit to complete
When either way our existence gets us killed
Scolded when we plead -
For human rights and equality
Peace was never an option
When survival is to watch us bleed
It's a familiar type of exhaustion
One my people know all to well
Where - we breathe and we die
Or we speak up and it's systemic suicide
Tensions suffocate the air
All we want from life is to be treated fair
Yet, atlas life is a never ending cycle -
For us, filled with chronic despair
It's hard to breathe when silence is the only option
When the words are there, but in the end we end up choking
It's always been this way, of cyclical hope then watch it slowly dissipate
Knowing we can't trust it, yet it clings to us for survival
One day maybe it'll be different story
Though let's not hold our breath
We still need it for our survival, Rome wasn't built in a day, we have to be realistic
