Premium MemberAnd Again Tomorrow

And again tomorrow
With purple flowers,
And the sun above
Or clouds and showers

Another day comes
To rise and to shine,
More than enough time
To breathe, to feel fine

Between dawn and dusk
A thousand minutes go,
Around and around
In moments so slow

Another night comes
To pause and to rest,
Gives us time to smile
Knowing we did our best

And again tomorrow
One more chance to try,
With the stars above
And the moon in the sky.

Finally Tomorrow

Finally Tomorrow (c) 2025 by Russ Dodson

it's finally the morrow
that I feared would never come

but here it is and that is why
my heartstrings softly hum

from all the love you've given me
that greedily I take

to you I promise with this vow
Your heart I'll never break

for I can never get enough
of feelings soft, yet tough enough
to wrap me up within a warm cocoon

you are a being wrapped in light
you truly are my heart's delight
reflections of a sacred Flower Moon

I am yours as you are mine
this love we share is quite divine
I pray that we might be together soon

Premium MemberA Naturally Beautiful Outlook

An island sunset, when mango moon is calling,
Lush palm fronds sway, when the day is stalling.
Ivory tailed comet, comes but once in a lifetime,
Sitting in tropical sunset, at just the right time.

Gemmed hummingbird sparkle. Destiny dreams.
Pink sun is roving. Glossy crows' feathers gleam.
What was left behind, is often recalled to mind;
Yet, plum fate isn't unkind, as love again you find.

Searching for bright tomorrow

Walking with countless Sunshine's
Not leaving out the moon
Searching for where bright morrow hides
Thought we would be there soon

Playing away our yesterday
Like the desert wind blowing sands
Now here we come today
Searching for where bright morrow lands

Now in the presence of tommorow
But the past doesn't speak well of us
Because through the backdoor we follow
And in tommorow we are lost

Now, we are betrayed by our own mind
The straight path we can't find
Had I known, our brains grind
Until tommorow threw us into a wretched deep night

Premium MemberDawn of Tomorrow

A surging gust of changing wind
has pushed me down a path unknown.
Engaging dreams I won't rescind
will place me at my lover's throne.

She'll gently brush her noble hand
across my soft but weary brow.
Her tenderness will take command
and to her velvet touch I'll bow.

My fire will circumvent her heart,
then cauterize the gaping hole;
a tear that ripped her realm apart
and left a chasm in her soul.

Two kindred flames ignite in dance,
which sparks a royal duet's tune.
For this hurting queen a second chance
to waltz beneath the autumn moon.

With newfound faith, my hopes she'll take
and forge a castle 'round our dream.
Emotions, dead, are now awake
to love that grows and reigns supreme

BEAUTIFUL TOMORROW

Children play without the fear
Of what tomorrow’s meals may bring.
Parents rest with hearts at ease
Knowing the future promises brighter things.

That’s the dream I once embraced
A shining tomorrow, full of grace.
Where the sun rises in a crystal sky
The moon cloaked in purest of light.

But that dream now feels unclear
Fading beyond what I can imagine.
The tomorrow I glimpsed pretty
Is but a mirror of the present, alas.

So let’s paint today in vibrant colours,
With love in every deed we choose.
Sow seeds of hope for all to reap
For tomorrow reflects the today we keep.

Premium MemberTomorrow will Soon Come

The moonlit night echoed with the tireless thrill
Of the camouflaged cicadas chirping the time away.
A small tear fell downwards wetting her soft down
In sheer happiness. He kissed her tenderly,
Brushing her luscious lips with tender endearment.

Here and there fireflies danced to the cicadas tune.
The leaves of the large oak tree rustled in unison
As the moon and sublime stars shone on their love
Whilst her wedding ring sent flashes in signals
That it was time to retire to their room in the inn.

Back in their room, they ignore the half-full bottle
Of bubbling champagne, ridding their sweaty clothes
Betook them to bed, plunging their room into darkness.
The mystical moon shone on them as they hugged
Till she snuggled up into him tired and sleepy.
Both had just one dream, tomorrow will soon come.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow
Poem
Lionel Derbyshire

A beautiful night..
Raptures delight
Light's shimmers bright
Fresh and moist is the air
A moon a blushing
the stars they quietly take their seats
the waves orderly cleans the sea
everything sync together
to make another day
which GOD has made.
See it again tomorrow night
wherever you stay or stray.

Betwixt here and there
And in between there are
Miserable mulish miscreants hub
Those who want to close our drawer
Of our universe.
They are perverse
And temper bad
They headstrong, they err.

Too few pleasant mickey mice
And no more happy donald ducks
Once a time this planet was nice
When I was younger
Now war hungry men
With angry mind's
Are gunning down bullets
Blood everwhere..
Peace is out of touch.

Belly's with empty tummy's
In broken down dwellings and alley's.
They dread the beautiful night.
Their light's are out.
Gunsmoke in their air.
Another new day
They will not see again.

Give peace and love a chance
Today..
Live sensible and be around for
Tomorrow..

Premium MemberTomorrow

Tomorrow is a world we've yet to see.
Where we dream of the things yet to be.
The endless dreams of things to come
The things that only time separates you from
Happiness awaits some sunny day
All the good things that are coming your way
Tomorrow, where dreams come true
The sky stays blue
Hopping tomorrow comes soon
With the passing of the beautiful moon
With the rising of the sun tomorrow will arrive.
Letting my dreams survive.

Premium MemberThe End of the Year

The end of the year is the dawn of a new one.
The sadness and the yesterdays are all gone.
We have in front of us: a new era, a new horizon;
We are hoping and dreaming of a better season.

The moon seems to be brighter at midnight.
The migrant birds are flying very low tonight.
They are chirping, screaming, moaning and singing;
The children are happy, jumping, sauntering and playing.

We set new goals, short deadlines and crazy wishes.
We invite friends over to enjoy novel drinks and dishes,
And we listen to old songs, which never go out of style.

The globe will not stop turning and the wonderful sun
Will not cease shining. A new season always brings new fun.
We need to relax, be more realistic, laugh more and smile.

Premium MemberGood Morning Tomorrow

It's still nighttime
       but we can hardly wait
     The moon's a sliver
the stars don't look so great

Let's put an end to tonight
       and welcome tomorrow
     Ask the powers-that-be
if the sun we can borrow

Premium MemberA Dream

A dream is either a kaleidoscope glance of the past
Or a haphazard vision of tomorrow,
Its speed varies; it is occasionally slow or fast.
If you cannot dream, you are essentially dead,
There is no viable hope, only sore sorrow.
Nothing is normal and everything is sad.

Dream every night, young men and women,
So you can change the world for the better,
So you can find solutions for people, who are bitter,
Sick and deranged, and for the dying foemen.

Dream and don’t fall asleep while walking.
There is a time for everything,
A time to dream,
Or to stare at the moon;
A time to sing,
To get away, and to enjoy a spoon
Of ice cream.

Future Tomorrows
David J Walker

Gray is the color of Winters wind
January dressed for the occasion
Singing songs in dissonant tones
Dark and sparse the evening

I know one thousand places to go
I know the streets are calling
I know the whim of the businessmen
But soon the snow will be falling and

The moon will move beyond the clouds
To calculate the equation
Of a winter storm about to be born
Ignoring the evasion of

A winter breath as cold as death
An icy land of sorrows
Counting the haze of frozen days
Counting on future tomorrows

Premium MemberYesterday Today and Tomorrow

What did you think of yesterday,
And today, what do you wish to do,
And tomorrow is another day,
Yesterday seems so far away,
Yet today is here to stay,
For tomorrow, what have you to say,
Yesterday you were my singing Jay,
Today you say come what may,
The moon and I heave sad sighs,
Dark clouds loom ahead, I tell no lies,
As my heart yearns and pines,
And the sun no longer shines,
You are my one desire,
You set my heart on fire,
Feel I’m walking on a high wire,
So, take this beauteous flower,
My life, my soul you are my power,
You are my destiny this hour,
Hear me, why did you have to go,
Did you not know,
That only for you, my blood does flow,
You are my yesterday,
Please hear me when I say,
Today I can no longer cry,
For if I live without your love tomorrow,
I will for certain die.

Premium MemberPromises Made Out of Sight

Promises Made Out of Sight
David J Walker

The projection on the wall of
Solid imagination
The illumination
of what might be
tomorrow

a day of sorrow
a day of borrowed joy
a day that employs
furloughed friends on
borrowed time

I rise early in anticipation
Believing the moon will set
And the sun will rise
As yesterday’s page turns
Into tomorrow’s light

The illustrations are vague
But such is the stuff of
Promises made
Out of sight
