Weathered trees rise out of the earth, brushing against the sky.  The wind sends a shudder of movement through the branches causing the majestic trees to creak and groan as they sway.  In the distance is a cabin, timeworn and dilapidated.

LOVE IS TRUTH

Love is truth, love is positive, love always forgives, and helps us feel cared for.
Love is warm and makes us feel like a warm sunny day. 
Love is never cruel and always shows it cares. 
It is warm hands and warm hugs to show it cares. 
Love is truth and loyalty that is always near.

I won’t ever bank on trendy,
I am here striving for timeless.
That crowd with a vision of me
when they see a little black dress. 
Hair and nails display the finesse
that translates to each pretty word.
Simple clean lines but nonetheless 
cursive’s curled drama is inferred.

metal stiff body, that shines through
the rivers of thoughts, I've seen you before.
Entered and broken picture with no frame
multidimensional portrait of my future lady
thousand years and soulless time machine.

for loving you, the flower has died,
frozen ground and tough love,

I’m no one, she thinks and smiles
to herself – imagining
when the world looks at her
they see gray hair and wrinkles,
sagging skin and dentures
those little things that remember
she has turned the corner on her fifties
soon she’ll be in her sixties…

and watch the earth
hurl through space

its lights flashing
in every colour
neon signs alight
the city takes on
a whole persona
hidden in plain sight

rainwashed blur
and whispers
in the distance
but here i am
immersed
in divine serenity
