Poetry to be had in most
everything -- the ceiling fan for
instance, it's off now; heat slicing
blades silenced --
a ticking clock becoming more
apparent, poetry in the on-wall
antique as well; thinking that if only
crystal moderns we could have outlawed --
keeping strong the heartbeat refrain of old pendulum
swingers....a wind, a fond nudge
when needed, and animation resumes rhythmic
and unimpeded. I miss you.
THeir plan - in each oriface pour
some Vaseline, KY and more...
with rings of the bell
they both had to yell,
"Too greasy to open the door."
Let's do the Chicken Splash,
More than just the Monster Mash,
Fingerlickin' chicken hash,
Swingers do the Chicken Splash.
Chicken, chicken, chicken chow,
Makes me want to dance somehow,
Chicken this and chicken that,
Makes me Charlie Chicken fat.
In the wind, the sun, or rain,
Chicken splash is fun to feign,
Underneath the stars at night,
Chicken splash is pure delight.
Grab your chicken, doe si doe,
Swing your pickin', make it so,
Hug her high and catch a rash,
When you try the Chicken Splash.
Now it's time to splash for free,
Like the Chicken of the Sea,
See them play and say "let's thrash",
As we dance all day and splash.
Flashing, dashing, fish are splashing,
Splishing, splashing, some are stashing,
Some are likely liking licken',
As for me, I splash for chicken.
Serpents, scorpions, owls,
Swingers, stingers, wise old gals,
Dogs, bones, bow wow wows,
Paws, purrs, cat's meows.
Canines, felines, feral creatures,
Headlines, deadlines, double features,
Ping, pong, pink expressions,
Sing, song, apprehensions.
Sows, cows, milk-bag givers,
Scaredy-cats and chicken livers,
Porky pigs and truffle treasures,
Dorky wigs and other pleasures.
Polywogs and rollie pollies,
Gollygogs and holly holies,
Ice cream trucks and cone packers,
Dumb clucks and silly quackers.
Gritty Kitty, kitty litter,
Nitwitty babysitter,
Baby bottles, bubble slumbers,
Rubber baby buggy bumpers.
All around are funny creatures,
Rabbit Ears and bunny features,
Serpents, scorpions, and owls,
Trick-or-treaters call them pals.
He lived in room 757
just like a haiku
thats what he said to me
just like a haiku
eesh
There’s a reason I avoid this part of town
if not for the psuedo intellectualism that spreads
faster than herpes at a swingers party
then for the cheap drinks for too much money
the door guy that thinks he deserves a tip
keeping out the ‘riffraff’ as they used to say
The Polo shirt with the Raybans over in the corner
makes eyes at the one girl his buddies brought to the bar
if he plays his cards right
he might just have a chance
and why not?
Did I walk into a bar
or some sort of reality show
where are the cameras and who’s
ing with me?
The carbon copy cut outs of people all staged around the place
talking about haikus
and their twitter account
and their many followers
not my scene as I head to the door
As a pick up from my coat from the check
the girl tells me to have a good night
I doubt it
no one writes Haiku’s anymore
Watch him now the 'artless fool'
Full of fake expression and counterfeit cool
He paints a picture of stylish health Of illusory poise and paper wealth.
The floozies swoon and the swingers flock
While the intelligentsia stand and mock
'Its all an act' they are heard to speak
All that artful bearing and imitation chic.
So watch him now the artless fool
Popular and referenced in the student pool
His prose and accent readily heard
While the truth is kept hidden, the 'artless turd'.
Swingers of drenching waters
Drifters of fini coasters
Skating on lines of lakes and rivers
Dancing as spiral rafters
Bowing down before the sunny skies
Elongating wings of frozen cries
Beaks of clamored pleas
Speaks with enamored gees
Lake of praying feathers
Wake of snowy, silent breeders
Flakes of glowing winter chills
Ice plates dining on easter bills
Swan lake of fondest quest
Prancing eyes of widest dress
Seven swans spanning the hidden cove
Species of the blessed world
I went to see the "Rolling Stones"- they rocked!
I had two tickets to see "Cher" in concert, I kept them both
A "Moody Blues" concert got cancelled, I heard they couldn't tolerate each other
Never did get to see the "Beatles" in concert, that really bugged me
I went to a "Rush" concert, it was over too fast
I went to see the "Eagles" they sounded a little bit like the "Byrds"
I went to see the "Doors" with a couple of swingers
I went to see "Led Zeppelin" and "Iron Butterfly" now that was heavy
I went to see "Cream" they milked the show
I went to see "Billy Idol" he's, my favorite!
I went to see "The Grateful Dead" they killed it!
I was going to see "Alice in Chains", but I heard she got locked up
I went to see "The Guess Who" eh, I'll tell you later.
I went to see the "Mamas and Papas" with my parents
I went to see the "Animals" they were wild
I went to see "The Cars" drove me crazy
I went to see "Blue Oyster Cult" I got all clammed up
I went to see "The Beach Boys" with my sister Sandy
Only God is Supreme
Humans can never be supreme
Don’t believe in Supreme Court
This court can be brought
Like any others
Shake your rainbow feathers
To dance a different beat
Please vote en masse to defeat
The right wingers
And the conservative swingers
This court is definitely biased
This court is blessed
By bad politicians
Who love to destroy nations
By quintessential liars
Who love to set fire in rivers
And by hypocrites
Who burn women's rights in the streets
Only God is Supreme
Where everything is extreme
Supreme what?
Oh! Extreme Court
Please do not bark
At Noah’s Ark.

A quartet of swingers in Reno
Swapped keys as is usually so
One got the two wives
A case of the hives
The other an Alfa Romeo
There’s constant come and going,
As it is each Sunday night,
We thought we’d get an invite,
I suppose that we still might.
They seem to come in couples,
And they’re here for a few hours,
They seem to bring some bottles,
And I’ve even seen some flowers.
Perhaps it’s just a party,
But the neighbours, no invite,
So maybe something different,
Which doesn’t feel quite right.
The curtains all are twitching,
As the latest pair arrive,
No room left on the roadside,
Wow, he’s parked on our drive.
No invitation’s one thing,
But this is a liberty,
Don’t fully think it through,
Before I go out there to see.
The windows all are blacked out,
But the door’s a bit ajar,
There’s keys placed on the table,
For each and every car.
I’ll have to go and challenge him,
As with his keys he lingers,
But oh my days, I’ve realised,
It’s a party for swingers!
There once was a couple of old swingers
Whom were said to be more than just flingers
As they swung 'cross the floors
With huge knobs, like some whores
You should have seen the size of their ringers

Years down the road we will be known as flappers
In 1929 we are known as outrageous open hussies
Shunned by the church-y women, loved by the nightclub crowd
We are to be feared and adored, yin and yang, laugh at our frivolities.
Play girls, fun-lovers, life enthusiasts, dancers, singers, swingers.
We giggle and jiggle our way into your hearts, or out of them.
Depending on how deeply indoctrinated you want to be.
Mesmerizing some, scaring your wives and girlfriends.
We have bobbed our hair, shortened our skirts, and we have sass.
We are tired of the hum drum staidness of life, we are ready for action
Retaining our youth; yet you are keeping daughters and molls from us.
We live our truth, reminding daisies to be themselves and shine.
The wife just hopped out on a date
It ended too soon, but that's fate
The wife did not fret
His needs were not met
Swingers don't mate on the front gate!
guitar strangs man!
we heard the strang's of delgrin
and were beamed otta our seat's
it's like booty-booty bomb sh4t!
I mean the bassy grooves and the lyrics
they hit me like a stereo!
swing dos' hips and get a grip
on some real good loving!
singles and swingers, baby what's for dinner
cause dessert is you !
I mean like who's got the answer
when the question is wrong
laid back getting squirt's from the boss type
loving!
greasy fanga's gal show!
groovy bassy funk!
