Recalling the Essence of You
~~Remembering you~~

Remembering you, is a most simple task! It's in the rainbowed
bubbles of your arms, I that do bask!
No, absolutely, no, not once in a great while!
But in each splendid hour, yes, then, yes, I can!

I can, in the glimmer of our of past eyes, those are soft smiles.
I cannot forget how sweetly you read oe sung to me.
Nay, how blessed I was when you, in sweet memory, I clearly sing of thee!
Romantic, soft, ivory gardenia petals, bedecked my knees.

As we stared, at the still silvered moonlit, West Coast's fog, and the whispering
waves of the sea.
Supersonic slideshows of us, click softly, in my mind!
And nightlife, so mystically electric, which fluorescently flashes rainbow sounds, forevermore, fog-blessed and kind
You, forever smiles, in my mind?

~!.With fondest memorie of my late husband ~

Premium MemberWhen you are old

Wrinkles are souvenirs of life’s odyssey,
the joy, the sorrows and its novelty.
Quote - Poets Own

When one’s elderly with an aging face
And you're pondering on where time has gone
Or from where wrinkles suddenly came from
Winging supersonic from outer space.

Thinking back to those carefree sunny days
When one was enjoying youthful glory
One's spectacular historic story
When life was wonderful in many ways.

When falling in love was super splendour
And bliss was found in a loving first kiss
From the only one who'd up your heart skip
Memories that linger in minds harbour.

Soupersonic our souperhero hedgehog
Sparks a spiky souper poetic blog
With subtle soupcons of inspiration
And souperabundant imagination
With verses linguistically souperior
They soupersede the best criteria
His rich stanzas are immensely soupreme
That they belong in a souperstar's dream
So soupernaturally impressive are they
With such a clever and souperfine wordplay
When tired ,Supersonic curls up into a ball
Wishing a soupercool nighty night to us all

Premium MemberSpace Odyssey

In smoke and flames of mighty Apollo
  T-minus fifteen seconds, engines on!
O’ ship of divine distance I saw go
when rocketeers on lunar ascent shone.
New Age Columbus kings voyage and realm
in your Saturn V rocket to the moon -
new worlds beyond and Earth men at the helm
when supersonic roared its sonic boom.
I saw the face of Jupiter and Mars,
saw a golden eagle fly through deep space
and saw Prometheus reach for the stars
with flag and footprint of the human race.
Saw you fall to Earth out that Milky Way
on re-entry splashdown on the eighth day.

The silent song of the sighing breeze

The silent song of the sighing breeze
            murmured but not listened !
             Either subsonic or supersonic
but to be felt by heart
not to meet a tragic end.

I sent my errand to you
                      through blowing breeze to
sigh and whisper in your ears,
cherishing expectation to touch your emotion.

            Wandering on wonderful sea beach,
              ruminating old memories being nostalgic.
Sending my unsaid message in symphony of silent song
through gentle breeze only to sigh.

                  Zephyr pulling emotive urge unstoppable.
                  Reminiscences rolling spreading forgotten fragrance.
May my dormant desires propagate through air to reach you.

               Ruthless truth was ‘ I couldn’t accept You ‘
That lamentation is chasing me throughput life.
I am weeping with the silent song of the sighing breeze
                       imbibing my lost love.

Premium MemberLet Me Entertain You

vaudeville stepped off the stage
and leapt into the living room
with hot topic-tuned antenna views

shy ventriloquists turned from radio
to television with a vision to be seen

juggling with eye-catching
candle-, duck-, and ten-, pins
off the bowler skids in aerial suspension

abracadabra handlers saw their guests -
half of them enjoyed their shows

hats and canes spinning, shoes tapping
all the old variety - hosts rolling eyes

acrobats rose above them all -
the fall guys, the masters of the skies

Marx, Burns, Allen, Fields, Benny
broke their audience records

showcase of holidays and war
in time with comedy and lyrics

The good old daze
replaced by supersonic, telephonic-cell
(the farmer in the dell throws down his pitchfork
to watch)
to hock back the latest, greatest craze
of series, not to purge, but to binge

staying carefully away from Burnett, Sonny and Cher,
Donny and Marie, and Ed.

drooping eyes spring glasses,
a glass of red or white…

elsewhere, the hypothalamus of the kids,
impacted by Squiddy, Stampy and CaptainSparklez

He Wants His Horse To Win

You just have to win, Good Steed!
Do I say the Angel’s Creed?
Eyes to be on your praised speed,
Often mind me and strokes heed,
Flying like you had smoked weed,
At speed betraying mind of greed…

You don’t talk of losing, Steed;
I’ll fetch you your choicest bead,
Have you in richest field feed;
Above foals treasure your seed…

In do-or-die affairs lead,
A win like air I need,
Not shuddering like a reed;
When goes the shot your win read...

Means, then, my poor heart shall bleed
And blood hypertension breed,
If something should make my Steed
Forget supersonic speed…

Splashed Craft

Splashed Craft
The war started decades ago
When alien craft flew here and there
Interacting with various aeroplanes
Some were good encounters
Others bad including crashes
And kidnapped planes in the sky
Now the warplanes fire back
Shooting down unknown craft
The CCP turtles started it
With their crap spy balloon
That wasn’t so crap
It went here and there
Listening recording filming
Before being splashed
Followed by many others
Splashed by supersonic jets
Over North America in war
The new war of flying craft
Being brought down by planes
Who made these craft?
Are they made here or elsewhere?
What powers them and are they dangerous
So many questions no answers
Will the aliens invade?
One thing is certain
The crap spy balloon was Chinese
I’ll blame the CCP turtles
For all the others
Even alien made craft!

All you need lies within you;
Grande adventures await
on the precipice of wild;
No

Look within

Supersonic dragonfly skies,
kaleidoscope of dreams;
Incite a shift,

Stay young at heart.

Anti-Poem — “Nuclear Noah”

i turned the white sidewalk extending to beverly boulevard
my street teeming with oozing life the stilled human voices
the decades dead coming out of their houses again coming
down the dim sidewalk wearing the colors of remembrance
electric mothers with babies on porches spying the galaxies
i saw them all watched them climb the open skies at sunset
their resurrected arms extending to the apexes to the stars
supersonic specter opens the chest plate carves the future
trumpet peels reverberate like singing priests at noon tide
the host is lifted the choirs of the redeemed drone on now
i saw them go up climbing spiraling upward into the tumult
nuclear noah with eyes of jasper descending to the throng
the dream door is closed is locked for seven black autumns

Chime

We love those church bells,
do we not? Such chimes, such rings!
Are you a churchy type?
Or, like me, are you not?

Those bells we hear here
do have a rather angelic sound
(though, as we know, there are no angels).
But what a voice they have, those bells.

You don't do church, then -
like me and so many others?
But almost supersonic, those rings -
chimes that are quite a joy.

And they do bring to us
a historical flavour.
It enters our ears and hearts,
enters our ears and minds.

You have no religion, then -
that old-fashioned, out-of-date stuff?
Yet those bells send a sweet tang, zing,
almost a poignancy - sometimes sorrow, often happiness.

Ah, yes, we stand at that west end,
absorb those bells, that zing, that flavour.
We almost drink them, wear them -
yes, cherish and wear those rings.

Premium MemberDragonflies

Diving into the wind
reaching for the sunlight,
aglow with the fire of a thousand wishes
granules pulse with prosperity;
Once in a lifetime every time,
negligent to think otherwise;
Fiercely fleeting so grab it
little dragonfly,
invite sparks into the smallest moment;
Electrify
supersonic energy
