Premium Member odd

limping through nights alley
             bottles bones and tin
    odd shadows told me
turn the corner, run into yourself
and then you’ll never limp again

Premium Member You Don't Own Me, I Rise If I Want To

Now I’m noticed, but not for that reason,
laughter amidst crowds that I don’t rise in,
leers that promote their faces,
alters when they had notice,
that it should be me in utter laughter,
they joined me laughing, floored, feigned disaster.

You will never understand

You will never understand
All colours are never fair brother
So learn to not to trust too much
Their are things that can never change
So when you walking your path
Understand that life is not shinny on the other side
There are troubles you must face not because you cursed it but
What ever is meant to be will be brother
So be the best version of yourself
And send negative energy so far away

You will never understand
I have been through a lot
Recently am getting better with my pains
I refuse to settle for less
So I have to move on to the next level
There are always challenges I don’t wish for
This are always the circumstances intruding my happiness
Yet I smiled all the way through
I refuse to be down and defeated
Is difficult to keep up
But i know I will make it in life
And when people question my energy
All I have to say in reply is
You will never understand

You Once Said You Loved Me

You once said you loved me
You said you once loved me
You said you loved me
You said you loved
You loved
You once loved
You once loved me

Premium Member Moving Sidewalks-Where Audrey Hepburn Stands

The moon hangs in the night sky
Like a beacon for a child at bedtime
There's time to have bedtime stories read to you
There's time to recite prayers to You
She wanted to be that music box ballerina
If only daddy could have seen ya
Pirouetting and forgetting in moments of.....
Frozen prances and unfurling action
In the store front window, blink and continue
There's no time to stand still
When Fred Astaire wants to dance
No time to check makeup
When Cary Grant wants romance
In a Holden crush, or Cooper embrace
That is where Audrey Hepburn stands

Open heart

Open heart
I heard the bell of Healing
I followed the calls of my stars
Now my soul is blessed with nature
So kindly accept the songs of my soul
Am not always writing to be perfect
But respect my pen when it bleeds
Cos I heard the bell of healing
I followed the calls of my star
And now am a product of nature
Like it was suppose to be hopefully
So my friends world wide kindly
Accept the songs of my soul with an
Open heart

Open heart
Am sorry but I believe in God
Yes I believe in an energy beyond me
I know how it feels when revelation
Create a new vision
Words actions motivations changes
For higher or lower level
So when the bell of healing rings
I could hear the voice of nature calling
I followed my stars
now my soul is blessed with the songs of my soul
Please kindly relate with me with an
open heart

Awakens with a Whisper

The house whispers
as I awaken
and a dream plays.
My loft breathes as I get up.
The block on the hill
still after the night’s
storm, and a story
plays in my head
remnants of a love
I once had. The cat
rumbling on my chest.
shares the moment.

…
Tires sing as I drive
along the river
as it takes in reflections
of sun. I’ve viewed
the scene many times.
I’m seeing it again.
Public Radio plays
a feature on psychology
and the triumphs and trials
of life, and I cry out
This is me. This is me.

‘’’
In a diner, dishes clink
and patrons laugh
while elderly cajole
their granddaughters
voices filled with promise
about the lives that lie
ahead.

…
I walk away
from old conversations
the pain felt
after someone left for good
and unanswered questions.

…
I stay true
to one thousand voices
in my head.
A new poem I seek.

Premium Member The Healing of a Broken Heart

Doctor or Patient
The need is there
Being told by either
Is evident you care
In order to give
The thought
And or to Receive
Is Evident You Have Given
Another is with you
Caring
Sharing
Once was Distant
Never to forget the cause
But to embrace
The Healing Love
You Care

Premium Member The things left unsaid

You didn't say goodbye when you walked out the door.

You didn't say you didn't love me anymore.

You didn't tell me what was going through your head.

I guess you thought it was better to leave some things unsaid.

You didn't say there was someone else on your mind.

You didn't say that I was just a waste of time.

You didn't tell me before you decided to go,
that there were some things you didn't want me to know.

So, I won't tell you that all I do is cry.

I won't tell you I miss you more as each day passes by.

I won't tell you that I wish I were the one instead,
to hold you close and whisper softly all those things left unsaid.

Random Thoughts 9: Virginia

I don't remember you.
A small stain on my consciousness,
left untouched.

Victory over chaos

Victory over chaos
I refuse to follow their ways
So i sort for life

In this movement am guilty of no harm
All am trying to say is be who you are

It doesn’t matter were you are
Or were you come from
Stand your ten toes so strong

Let your believe be that of a brave heart
Despite the temptation of life
Keep moving with faith my brother

Be unstoppable yes be motivated
Turn your difficulties to uplifting moments
Life will always bring a lot along your ways
Not all will favour your vision but is part of life

So be not distracted when thing goes bad
Life can’t brings you all you need
But you can always be who you are
And this is a great win already

Confident

You will Never again cause me
 doubt in believing
  Admitting your emotions had
 purpose and no meaning
   Looking closer I understand
  my running
   Going forward and No hope
  Believing
   Amazing people you fake
  care and destroy
   I pray barriers surround your
  false words of friendship
   I am Stronger thank you,
  Your energy gone
   Reward is inner truth and
  more confident

Ending Overtime And Moving On

Desperately
trying
to
throw
us
off
guard
yelled
out
to
us
that
the
ball
was
in
court:-

Let’s
ever
be
mindful
that
here
on
the
battlefloor
of
the
lord
foot
stomping
this
shadowed
valley
we
need
to
fastbreak
and
slamdunk
liberty
as
we
rebound
and
bench
Its
oppressors
as
we
end
overtime
and
move
on
to
justice:-

Premium Member Move So Precise

In unison they glide on ice.
Now each adoring move so precise.

River in the poet's eyes

The water-filled pitcher is settled in your waist
Walk easy, the road at the early hour is almost empty
River in the poet's eyes is watching your movement
Vocabulary from his heart is making a sketch
