Premium MemberStranger things have happened song version

Stranger things have happened

Lightening strikes a man twice,
and he lives to tell
Said he never thought twice,
about the tolling bells

Refrain
Oh yeah, Oh yeah,
Stranger things have happened

The world watched as a child,
was pulled out... alive
Three days under the rubble,
with no way ...to survive

Refrain
Oh yeah, Oh yeah,
Stranger things have happened

Chorus
I know you told me, last year,
you were still in love with him
And the odds of you coming,
back are... pretty slim
but...I believe... still...I believe
(because)
stranger things have happened

I've seen a man free fall,
back to earth from space
He came back without a scratch,
and a smile on his face

Refrain
Oh yeah, Oh yeah,
Stranger things have happened

Chorus
I know you told me, last year,
you were still in love with him
And the odds of you coming,
back are pretty slim
but...I believe... still...I believe
because,
stranger things have happened

Oh yeah, Oh yeah,
Stranger things have happened
Oh yeah, Oh yeah,
Stranger things have happened
(repeat and fade)

Premium MemberKing of Kings

Remind me, Lord – that You have heard, whatever comes, whatever this life brings, I know the King who writes His light over the spirit… gently revealing, a love that never leaves, a hope that always brings assurance of the King of Kings.

Let His blessings flow,
A river to sooth my soul
Lifting my heart, ‘tis all aglow
A spirit who’ll surely console

Let His blessings enthuse,
A joy who sparks the moon
Painting hearts in a gentle muse
Love that sing’s the sweetest tune

Let His blessings hush fears,
Writing the heart in affection
A life lived for Him, through the years
Remembering His love is perfection

Let His blessing still the shadows,
Caressing the spirit in a song
Revealing the One who once arose
To silence each tear, right all wrong

Let His blessings exalt
A kindness that comes from the heart
Writing the world without fault
His blessings of love will never depart

Let His blessings restore,
Every heart, every soul, everything
So that, this Jesus I adore
Is glorified – He’s my soul’s KING!

Music Writter

The Motif was decided to
 precede each new verse
The words were written
to inspire a sound
a big bold beautiful
sound
happy enough to smile
melancholy from the frustration
of lacking inspiration
having been blessed with those
who share the interest of completion
and a strong spirt
those music lovers
are willing to collaborate and compose
to complete that full rainbow of
emotion that put's signatures
on something which
pride allows those
to understand.words that inspire music
the joy of collaborative efforts
the sadness of not being able to full afford

An Irish Love Song

Red flowing hair, she waited long
in her arms, he did belong
why go to fight, she did not know
a bloody battle, the Somme, in flow

she waited long, with babe in arms
in her heart, it tears apart
they were so young and very poor
why war to fight, she wasn't sure.

would he come back, to her devote
so she sang to him, in this small note
wasteful lives, thousand dies
no one knows of the why's

l never knew them, but l see them now
in photo's old, and close somehow
she was a beauty, he was so proud
so much love, but shroud in clouds

red flowing hair, he came back to her
in her arms, he now belongs
he had to go, but still more woe
they died together, passed love
.............................. .............did grow.

Safe and Sound

(To be read in the rhythm of “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen / Rufus Wainwright)

I know I said I’d be better by now
But I wander through like a ghost in town
And I can’t live with the person that did that to you

It’s not unlike a wounded heart
It bleeds and aches like dripping art
And yet it beats in rebellion to keep the pain in

I have hurt you
I have lost you
I have let you down
And now you’re forced
To keep me around,
Safe and sound

We both know I’ve been here before,
I’m a coward commanding a broken horse
Expecting him to move on like a machine

Ignorance is a travelled arch
But recklessness is the patriarch
It takes the lead and decomposes all your progress

I have hurt you
I have lost you
I have let you down
And now you’re forced
To keep me around,
Safe and sound

I have no pride in what I did.
It makes me question my will to live
But then again, that was questioned before

I know that’s not what you want to hear
But then you ask me to draw you near
And I cannot shield the darkness as it’s around me

Hold me softly
Don’t forgive me
Here I will sit down
I’m sorry you’re forced to keep me around
Safe and sound

Song of Solomon

He has a iridescent sheen
that looks metallic in mid flight
she is soft and she is gentle
and a healing to his night

he trembles when he's frightened
and his wings , like roving clouds
but she's strong, to elude the enemy
his descent entrapments , found

but her devotion is all her life
his return, devotion mate
her lips, they never lie
her words not found, in any hate

they bow their heads together
as if in lovers kiss
but be innocence and be cautious
for there's enemy destroyers, wish

So she draws him like a songbird
and fight she'll never do
as he floats he finds her kindness
her love, he always knew

'Look! your beautiful, my beloved
Look! your beautiful.
your eyes are those of .................doves '

The Song of Solomon 1. v:15

Dumped, by app

We'd played each other on the
song guessing app for
six years, ever since we were matched up
when I visited Iceland in 2016; we
both liked Classic Rock and stuck to
70s playlists

For a few weeks one year (2022) I was
"out of sorts" and didn't log in; when
I next opened the app
I saw Haraldur had terminated our six-year
rivalry

I mean, I led him by 540 to 86 games,
he was a bit slow,
but I valued our unspoken international alliance

It stung for a while but my
main concern was that my wife,
whenever I played the game,
always asked me how 'your friend Olaf' was doing

And now I just can't admit that he's
no longer my friend

I am 55 years old

Mercury's Requiem

There was a young man named Fred
(the tooth fairy lived in dread)
a wild flamboyant from afar
the spice island Zanzibar
a singer he'd been
and sang a good song
with four-octave range
in the band called Queen
tho' considered 'strange'
with plus four in the upper jaw
he had more teeth than most
once nicely depraved
now dead and gone
when he gave up the ghost
shuffled offstage his mortal coil
was no more than toast
finally went bust
of him it was said,
'Another one bites the crust!'

Premium MemberA Robin’s Song

The bright sunshine signalled a new
dawn,
Lazily, I stretched and yawned,
Not truly ready to face the day,
As I looked out of my window, my
neighbour shouted, it’s beautiful
today.

On a thin and fragile branch,
I noticed a Robin was resting his
feet,
A charmer he was , and to my eyes,
he was a treat,
His colourful coat was white, brown
and red,
Seeing him made me feel glad I had
gotten out of bed.

With his melodiously sweet trill,
the leaves on the trees seem to
flutter with his song,
Notes rise and fall and with the
gentle breeze, the branches swayed
in a rhythmic dance,
His tune filled the Spring air, and
not long, a female came along,
Witnessing their interactions was a
beautiful moment for me. Sometimes
in life, unexpectedly beautiful things
do happen by chance.

Swooh's of oohism

 the ah-ooh,
 ah;ooh's of ooh-ah's
-

There's ah rhythm to this
that's what I heard
a prefered way of doing it
that's what I heard
guess it aint that simple
Love is only a word
the cat's a little finicky
and the directions blurred
the chore of simplicity
my need to satisfy
a great deal of professionalism
that's the reason why
I can't eat if I
aint working gotta do my thing
got the birds ah chirping
let's hear them sing
There's ah rhythm to this
There's a kinda groove
get's my foot ah tapping
make's my body move

" The Better Understanding"

The Sound's of a Distorted man
To deepen understanding of love and marriage,
it's a story about a man needing help after finding that love and marriage were not
the prime directives of Church and the Church Community.
Someone gave him a wordless song to help respirt
 his then drained soul.
and Offfered him a ticket to a retreat were

Filler'er-Up Joe

Joe works the gas station,
they still do full serve,
tops you off with a big grin,
if you wait your turn.
Chats with all the tourists,
shows them where to go,
that’s why everyone in town
calls him Fill’er-up Joe.

Fill’er-up Joe,
whoa, whoa, whoa,
Fill’er-up Joe,
don’t go slow,
folks need gas,
don’t you know,
they’ll all come back
for another go.

Works the bar for night shifts,
only one in town,
there’s no head when he pours beer
the folks guzzle down.
Chats with all the ladies,
makes the liquor flow,
all his friends, when nighttime comes,
call him Fill’er-up Joe.

Fill’er-up Joe,
whoa, whoa, whoa,
Fill’er-up Joe,
don't go slow,
folks need booze,
don’t you know,
they all come back
for another go.

Sometimes those young ladies
take a shine to him,
the man’s not that bad looking,
they fall for his grin.
The man’s got no money,
but those girls still go,
the next day his buddies smirk,
“Did you fill’er-up Joe?”

Fill’er-up Joe,
oh, oh, OH!
Fill’er-up Joe,
please go slow,
girls need love,
don’t you know,
they all come back
for another go.

Premium Member Nightingale' s song

 They promise peace, serenity...to all
      Everywhere masks ,masks, masks....
   The unending war against Him...
We live in an unjust chaotic society......
O ,God i beseech you to fortify my soul
against the devilish society...
The wise sun never fades...

The 23rd Song of David

David had two wives, and I have none
Was he truly never in need and not of wants
Oh, how is this not a comical pun
Just to say that he was full of need and wants

Did YWHW give him, or did he earn?
Did he have a Shepard or a servant?
I feel that the imperfected get to have their desires burn?
It seems like he had a servant

What is life but a quest for a wife
All I see is a constant green pasture of broken promises
What is a wife but a quest for a positive life
Imperfection is awarded while perfection is with broken promises

The shadow of death weaps for me as it sees the world through my eyes
Oh how they cry when the time flies!

Rest in His grace, breathe in His light
softly glowing through the spirit
who knows Him as the way, the truth, the life

realize, beyond this world, there is eternity
a whisper of His love, His peace
found in the Savior, the One we know is everything we need

Rest in His gentleness, a song of faith
brought to hearts who hear His voice
souls who know the One who writes our name
inside the Lamb’s book of life – He’s our soul sacrifice!

Premium MemberA Fistful of Minutes

"a breezy yet comfortable autumn day...ah, so lovely!" - quote by poet.

his eyes flutter shut a fistful of minutes,
a much welcome respite into himself.
he sits in the shadow of a jacaranda tree.
as he listens to the mutters of dry foliage,
  a lone nightingale - nature's crown jewel -
cheerfully tweets sonorous melodies for him;
      it's as if he's entered heaven's gate.
