Premium Member There Is

There is
There is
God says that
There is
Not maybe
Perhaps
Not could be
No, no.
When God says there is
Be certain there is!

Many, many times in the Bible
God says that there is
And one is my favourite
A glorious there is.

Come, come to a psalm
One-thirty it is
Fourth verse shouts it out
There is
There is
Forgiveness with You!
Forgiveness with You!

Praise the Lord! There really is!
Through Jesus!

“There is forgiveness with you.” Psalm 130:4

Premium Member Dawn Chorale a Psalm of Wing

From ground to high sky
birds fill break of day with song
feathered hymns rejoice—
dawn chorus of wing and will
call all to join nature's voice

Magpie's carolling
ignites dawn with fluted bells
welcoming chorale
in day-break's cathedral dome
joyous songs of devotion

Willie Wagtail struts
tail flicks like a metronome
swagger in each step—
black-and-white little soldier
stakes claim to place of its own

Grey Fantail arc skits
with tail flits like restless fan
chaos ensemble—
air itself shakes in the dance
with its frantic flight patterns

Superb Fairy-wren
courageous, blatantly bold
blazes bright in blue—
outlandish flare on green leaves
with its beauty turned to dare

Eastern Whip-bird cracks
the lash to rouse sleepy heads
who missed the alarm
stumbled wobbly out of bed—
hoping no one would notice

The Welcome Swallow
adept aerial maestro—
dazzles watching throngs
with its acrobatic stunts
snatching at insects mid-flight

Psalm 25:1 The Valley of Desolation

In the Valley of Desolation all seemed lost.
Denying self and following Christ has great cost.
He had a plan before He created the world;
His plan complete before the universe unfurled.
His ageless will was He would become fully man
And save His chosen ones through His eternal plan.
Ever, ever will He save those trusting in him.
Never, never will they lose their dear lives again.
To You O Lord I lift up my sagging soul,
Knowing You will save me not in part but in whole.
In this light things do not seem so hopelessly dark.
In this Valley of Desolation He’s my Ark.

PSALM 121:7
So shall He our Father preserve
Everything for you well being, your soul
His protection from evils all
Up lifting keeps you from the fall

So He blocks satan's plan
Covers us he righteously stands
All the time God is protecting you
Every time all time Gods protects you

Give him praise
Selah, Hallelujah, AMEN
The Lord shall preserve
You from all evil
He shall preserve soul

After The Psalm of Life,
by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

One need not continue seeking,
  For that elusive, immortal dream.
Our bodies aging, joints creaking,
Yet we each have, before unseen...

A body that's made of spirit,
That breaks forth when this flesh dies!
And the grave, we need not fear it;
Yes, death will come ~but we shall rise!

Until then, you who are listening,
  Ensure that every step you take;
Be a benediction christening~
A life well lived for your namesake.

A Psalm No 1

Lord in Your unfailing love
Your glory I do proclaim
You are seated on the throne most high
Dedicated by Your right hand
The hopes and dreams of al Your people
You give them the right to take a stand
They travelled long in the desert
In search of the path of life
To live in Your presence forever
All the days of their lives

Psalm of Repentance

My Lord and my God,
Do not turn away from me;
Do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
I have grieved You time and again,
And in full knowledge,
I have chosen the path of bitterness and wrath.

But You, O Lord, are not like me—
You are slow to anger, rich in mercy,
Overflowing with steadfast love.
So I fall at Your feet,
Appealing to Your compassion.

You were ready to deliver me from evil,
Yet I walked willingly into the shadows.
You filled my cup with lovingkindness,
But I drank instead of hatred.

All day I wrestle with this thought:
“Surely, You have withdrawn Your Spirit from me.”
Why else would my soul groan in anguish?
How could Your holiness dwell
In one so defiled?

Yet even now, if You still hear me,
O God of my salvation,
Do not be silent.
Speak again to my soul.
Restore me by Your grace.
Renew a right spirit within me.

My Psalm 1 Prayer for my Family

Lord Jesus your are mankind's tree of life.
I come with a request my for my children and wife.
Please empower me and my family to follow your way,
and turn us from the path that is wrong.
The crowd seems to walk the path of rebellion,
On that road we do not belong.
Give us passion to seek and desire you words,
Help us focus on them day and night.
God help us plant deep, the roots of our tree,
By the River that is Jesus Christ!
Then we can drink of his water everyday,
From now til the end of our life.
Make us each to be, good fruit bearing trees,
That you God would be proud to display.
At night as we sleep, please whisper so we,
Will store everything that you say.
Grant us prosperity of the right kind,
Making us rich according to you.
Your riches I find, are of the heart and mind,
Lord, please do what is needed to do.
Man's system of wealth is full of corruption,
Selling their souls due to greed.
Lord I come to you, with my family,
Asking for the currency our spirits need.
There is only One through whom I can come,
In which I can lawfully claim.
Please answer this request for me and family,
That I now make in Jesus name...
Amen.

Premium Member Psalm of Strength

Lord, as I long as I live
I will worship You
You are my rock and
my strength.
Upon You will I build
my spiritual home.
When the storms come and
the winds blow
my house will shake
but will not fall.

You are the bread and
water that satisfies.
My soul will not starve
or want for thirst.
You hold me in the
palm of Your hand.

When my journey is over
I will live with You
in Your house
throughout eternity.

Premium Member Prayer inspired by Psalm 19:14

Feeble are senses and muddled is mind,
bewildered in this world of illusion
but by shifting to heart, loving and kind,
clear light dawns, erasing our confusion.

Love is the litmus test, which we employ,
though we confess our thoughts do oscillate,
so at times wayward ego does decoy,
for in this realm, we’re far from heaven’s gate.

We are Your child, tempestuous and wild,
so guide us dear God, with your healing hand,
that our words then be both loving and mild,
radiating divine light, as You planned.

Breath by breath in life, each moment we start,
recognising that You dwell in our heart.

Premium Member Psalm of Praise

Oh God, most high, Creator of heaven and earth; be near to me, thy servant and humble child.
For the enemy gathers round about me to bring me to despair; whispering lies into my ears and fear into my bones.
Yea, the wicked one and his servants do wish to bring thy children low and to pluck them from your strong arms.

But Thou, oh God, are faithful, an ever present defender and protector of those who love you.
No evil can stand in your presence; nor take those who find refuge in your arms.
Let not my heart be troubled, for thou art my strong tower and shield!
Thy power is everlasting: Thy word is eternal.

In thy grace and lovingkindness thou hast bestowed thy power to the children of your heart, that we might stand against all our enemies.
When the enemy whispers lies, Bring thy truth to my mind.
For no deceit shall confuse my understanding, no falsehood shall cause me to fall away from my Father, my God!
Thy love and forgiveness hast set my feet on the right path and I will not stray.
A grateful and obedient heart shall I give to thee, my Heavenly Father; For thy love hast made me whole!

Psalm Of The Martyr

I am the Martyr you shall not want
I lay me down across waters
You will not cross
I wander mountainsides alone
To bring their grandeur
To your door
And run through gauntlets unafraid
Your cross to bear

I climb the steps of lofty peaks
Through storm and strife and dark of night
And rage the sky in grave distress, for you –
For you, my noble quest, I bear witness
To the blade and knife
To the callous force of Nature’s might
And in despair cry out your name
Though it radiates in muted tones
The crimson luster of its flame

Yea, though I walk through hidden valleys
In the shadow of the midday sun
And move in darkness, as it were
In honor of my sacred word
And wander in the wilderness
These long and restless years
Seeking a deliverance
I seem not to deserve

I yet am bound, in act and deed
By oath of blood and oath of right
Wrested from the Moon
One long and anguished night
Unto my lone and solitary quest
‘Less by loss of hope, of heart, of fight
I lose of you, my love, my life –

Premium Member Unto God

Unto God, my soul is His.
To pick me up
when life is amiss.
My hand is His to take
and lead me by still waters
or to walk on the lake.
You hold me up and teach me this,
I will not stay above if it's Him I miss.

Premium Member Lord Teach Us Our Morality - Psalm 90: 12

Come before the Lord in deep humility
looking for instruction to be wise
praying that God would teach you
that you are mortal trusting for God's prize

That prize comes after life's end
during this life, there are just some days
one day this habitation will surely end
then you'll be called before God for your say

If you've not trusted in God's salvation
there's only hell and destruction to come
be sure to believe in God's dear son
number well your days to know the correct sum

Remember only a fool says there's no God
believe with your whole heart in God's inspired word
for that word is eternal never to end
to reject such divine lines is absolutely absurd

God is immortal forever and shall always be
we are mortal at best while on this earth
so prepare for that day when time will be no more
living for God fully for all you're worth

("So teach us to number our days
that we may get a heart of wisdom.")
