Premium MemberA Composing Dick

I think, AI can fool the surface eye,
the sun of everyday common day --
the night of charming only twinkle glitter
night --
But, what it can’t fool~ is, complex
soul spectrum; what it can’t step away
from is, its own deceitful presence –
the blight of laziness -- felonious poetic
fixes.
Technology has its place and purpose --
let it not be, to dope one's own creative sense
of Fair-play.
God, perhaps, considering an AI earth --
populated with robotic integers, squiggles
of AI digital worth. Both heaven and hell
could be a lot smaller – an entire civilization
on one memory stick. Don’t be a shallowly
composing programmed dick.

The dead willow tree

On a hill far, far, away there lives a dead willow tree.
And if you visit there’ll be a girl, with long inky hair as deep as the darkest sky.
She wears long rags that are elegant and dances in the sowllow wind.
She comes every day with a beautiful dismay of light, then leaves when the sky turns to the deepest shade of moonlight.
But if you ask for her name she’ll point at a grave, then fade far, far, away as the wind shallowly presses on to a place too far away.

Early Goodbye

Listen,
I'm just as needy as you are,
Maybe more so,
You thought you was narcissistic,
Look at me lost in my own world,
Unable to hear your woes about your own.

But I would never tell you such,
I know it would cause energy shifts,
Greater than the one now,
I need things stable,
Shallowly emotional.

If you keep drifting from me,
I'll create a version of you that doesn't,
I'm speaking to one now,
To suit my needs,
One that I'll hold on to for as long as I need.

And then I'll let go,
Finally, painfully and absolutely,
Because from thus far, I saw
That we will only last,
For as long as we remain to each other quiet and invisible,
And to ourselves, delusional

Premium MemberTime Vs Time

Time is not justly counted by increments...

like a pie all crust can have space without filling
it disappoints –

too much wasted by reluctant planning –

few visions of living ever leaving the station of
Excursion – like a dynasty of tempting brochures culminating in
tenure, that far more brave and less credentialed travel faithfully
outright...

Triumph's Reckless Youth vs Pompous Charted Night

such licensed surveyors expose dark by tiny bits called
stars, seeing only seconds, oblivious to stuffed longer
gigantic days' leaps packed into uncharted universes

time shallowly used is soul
and spirit only outside basted,

exterior roast__toast

while the bloody inside
left yearning release,
for its surface~ burning!

when time is too contemplated,
measured, set in plates of orderly
rations – seasoned but only tasted
(a belly denied lumps of glutenous
impulsive passions)

it is a written novel

with no real claims
to glory....

Time then...is only Time

dimly expressing God's timeless
true story

Upon Learning of the Death of An Almost Stranger

A fellow poet has passed away.
I did not know him in person,
in person he was a name
with a only a shallowly linked life
unknown to me.

Yet on an internet forum
we talked of poetry
gathering jottings of character
and personality. Picking-up
on the nuances of our persona's.

Don't know what he died of
but hope he was not alone,
death should be a last line in a poem
at least somebody overhears.

Premium MemberLove Is Everything

No matter where you are
you are with Him for ever;
no matter how far you travel
it is His distance – all matter
and spirit, the substance of
His being.

No matter how fast you run,
it is His pace and tracks;
no matter how quiet your mind,
he hears the stirrings within
our silence, those soundless
articulations, before the words,
our preludes to delineation –

No matter how deeply or shallowly
we breathe...He knows our limitless
capacity~nurturing, healing,
awakening us to live fully and outright
the sum of all His passions realized,
purified and exalted to their highest
forms of manifest-expression –

After all will be said and done, Love is everything....

Premium MemberSkywriting

By a clear mountain stream an enchantress sat skywriting,
her bracelets seemed to jangle a melody as her arms moved.
The wind stopped blowing lest the clouds corrupt her work.

The knight, dressed in black, wore a mask and intended damage.
His knife was clenched between his teeth, as he moved noiselessly closer
- breathing shallowly for stealth.

The birds suddenly stopped chirping. “Go home boy,” the enchantress whispered.
The knight blinked and froze but the enchantress did not look around.
She pulled a half-penny from a pouch, kissed it, and lobbed it into the stream.

The knight went from certain to vague - he sheathed his knife and wiped his lips.
“Come, drink.” the minx motioned to the stream.
As he sipped water from his cupped hands the beautiful woman
said, “Your love will bear you two sons if you’re home before dark.”
The knight wiped his hands on his trousers - nodded - and ran for his horse.
The enchantress smiled to herself as she finished her unearthly poem.

From Inside To Out

It's beautiful isn't it?
Beautiful in it's own wicked way.
The way they're turning the Earth from inside to out, one so unnatural.
Our skies and clouds are as fake as the women who tread so shallowly in vain beneath them, with their false lashes ànd botox injections,
Where hatred spreads as quickly as their legs.
The earth needs us,needs us for our loving nature.
The men are lost in Cyrin Songs and She Devil glances.
For they are lost in their hearts. Confusion has filled their heads.
Love must blossom to change what's to come.
Love must overcome from the.inside.to.out

Smell

repugnant or pleasant invoker of memory
run from or run too
can make you sleepy or give you energy
If unsure, shallowly breathe a preview
Tell me now how does it smell to you

Elementally

Grounded are the feet that be in the elemental earth
Bounded we the legs that keep the motion of walks
Rounded is the dirt beneath as the pressure begins to mound
Founded the discovery to uncover knowledgeable talks

Sculpting melding seeping
The soil underground flowing heated molten
Melting shaping morphing
Formation created solid black rock ground

Steamy is the water of the magmatic oceans deep
Risen layers pillow topped stacked slowly in the chill
Solidifying new earthen life pushed through to a crusted rebuild
Slowly in the unseen depths where land is consuming sea

Wisps of wind waves whistle with gaseous fumes
Lofting liquid red as golden orange fissures spread bloody fires
Inches measured by millimeters mold metals magical blaze
Wild widening of gaps shallowly engraved a blackened glaze

Obsidian wasteland of a treacherous expanse gathered island life
Reflective surfaces weathered time breaking down rock to sand
Erosive washing of corrosive materials gritty consumed by forces of nature
Natural is the condensing of observatory images in the fluid eyes of man

Ebony Hallow

There are hands that extend.

Crookedly they creep, their twisted branches reaching for me.

Decaying twigs resemble fingers, fingers that coil in midnight locks.

Ebony hallow, where the beast bay’s at the alabaster moon.

A scarlet cape tattered and worn.

The air is dense, it chokes with stench.

Things rot that lay shallowly buried.

Ebony hallow, where spirits wonder.

Aimlessly they moan with restlessness.

Petrifying specters.

In ebony hallow, blood runs deep.

Rivers of red, bedrock drenched in vibrant shades of rouge.

It numbs you, your senses heightened, the feeling of being hunted intrusive.

God rest your soul shall you ever enter the woodlands where foul play.

Ebony hallow, a cold October, an unforgiving fate.

Possessions - Mini Poem 5

I will lie on a bed breathing shallowly, then suddenly depart.
In an instant all of my possessions will be yours.
Only then will you see what a slob I was.

Unrevealing Poem

Oh this poem is good, very good.
So unrevealing with its likelihood
of ideal rhythm –
I like its theme.
Oh ideas, these ideas I’m having, falling from behind,
Are whirling shallowly in my mind.
These consonants are diverging away from my head;
These vowels, are these vowels alive or dead?
This rhyme, going with the beats of my heart,
fleetingly, these bombastic words, pure art,
shaking me, what are they trying to say?
It’s midnight for heaven’s sake, I’m slumbering;
Are these poesy ideas here to stay? . . . Certainly not –
Maybe I should just wake up from the land of nod
and jot them down in case I miss a line,
Or forget a word that rhymes with shine.

Silent Partner

No need to mention any of the names of those who ask me, “Why so quiet, James?”

In truth, I’m quiet since I do not choose to shallowly discuss the evening news,
to idly chat about weather reports or wager over who should win at sports.

And why reveal the details of my life to those caught up in private griefs and strife,
who listen just to items they can use to gossip, harbor ill, taunt or abuse,
or those who, learning of me, would dismiss as crazy anything that runs amiss
to attitudes with which they feel at home and scoff at the suggestion they might roam
beyond the kind of life they’ve preconceived or outside of the faith they have believed?

Why waste a discourse on those without will, to whom stupidity’s a social skill?

And why discuss philosophy and art, or matters even closer to my heart,
or, with light-hearted wit, why try to start with those whose highest humor is a fart?

This is really why I’m quiet today, though, “... just tired, I guess,” is all I’ll say.

Drink

it courses through my mind it burns
covers all the thoughts the yearns

brings me numbness, seeks to tank it
covers grief, a warm soft blanket

clears all thoughts and brings relief
brings surcease to all my needs

the mind is shadowed, quiet'd a bit
agony covered, a brief respite

all thoughts of pain all melancholy
are thrown away, however shallowly

raise a cheer, a hearty shout
to the chemistry effect
to mind's temp' rout

when soul wails, begs dark dampers
to this ye turn, the mind's dark hamper

shriek and gnash and clamor for comfort
but turn to this, and find warm summer

I cling to thee and enter thy place
sobbing, begging, to your embrace
