Ring around the rosie
Ribbit Dribbit Drosie
They secret the mucus.
Hookus, Lookus, Doofus.

Three frogs at play
In my field today
Straight from the swamp
Eating flies with a whomp!

Ring around the rosie
Ribbit Dribbit Drosie
Good pets they might not be
Frog legs for my tea?

Premium MemberFlowers For Rosie

Roses are red
Rosie is blue
Wondering where
Her boyfriend Fred
went to

He left in a hurry
In such a flurry
His mind a a blurry
Thinking of Rosie
Giving her posies

An afterthought
Instead he thought
two bouquets of
Red lovely red roses
for valentine's Da\y

With a card added
Telling her of how
He feels about her now

Premium MemberRosie Had Real Good Looks

Turned down by a Spanish caballero
Rejected by an Egyptian Pharaoh --
   Rosie had real good looks
But the girl couldn't cook --
Hitched an old bird who ate like a sparrow

Dear Rosie

Dear Rosie so sweet, no so clue
Less I long for the day you grow and you bloom
How I wish for your petals to not fall but rise
But you are no fool for my pretty little lies.

I owe you for nothing and for nothing I owe
Longing for a simple smile and a lifeless hello
You never see me straight ahead
treating me like the dirt for your rose bed.

I am no Freesia full of passion and joy
I am a Daisy known not to tell of your judgment and sour pollen tube
Tell I will when the sun arises
Tell I will when you all seem too good to bloom

So now your leaves fall as they do
I continue to wonder how you grew
You smell bad and look Astray with you big stem which don’t stand straight

Do not look at me for help when you follow the flow
Keep sitting still and be gone
You say that makes no sense but I was doing it for years
So stand still, be strong and most of all hold on

Finally, it is my time I watch your petals fall and mine will arise

Rosie Ortiz

1916-1936

The stars are my friends.
They know of my many secrets.
They remember my private musings.
The stars cried tears for me.
They placed fragrant roses upon my bosom.
I sought to comfort them in their grief.
I tried to hold them close in my embraces.
Nightly now, I see them in my gazes.
Midnight now, I hear their muted whimperings.
What can I say to them?
What words of sweet solace can I give?
A single blade of sweet grass understands.
A solitary leaf of autumn knowingly descends;
There is no darkness in death;
There is only love,
And light eternal.

Ella Rosie Cheeks

Written for my wonderful daughter,
Ella Rose who is the love of my life.

For she's my itty bitty precious rose,
So delicate with a distinct written prose.

                      She's everything I hoped she'd become,
A little sassy girl and sorta high strung.

Peaches on a pie with a cherry on top,
So sweet and silly always going non-stop.

A beauty mark on her upper right cheek,
And a china doll when she falls asleep.

All the boys out there aren't good enough,
Her daddy thinks there's no one to trust.

                      Absolute daddy's petite little angel,
See my Ella is so precisely faithful.

Big almond shaped deep brown eyes,
I love her to and from Heaven's bright skies.

Rosie

Your bright eyes had me eclipsed
Your pouted red lips like a rose
My soul danced on your visage
Our hearts intertwined like a vice

Your pedals blushed my tingling skin
Love was registered with a red seal
Your aroma completes me from within
Your smile expresses the very joy I feel

Red Rosie, I’ve never seen you blue
You held it together, all my life through
Jealousy had me doubt if your hue is true
Now my evergreen garden is a Rosie view

In bloom all my life
Fun filled days
My undying symbol of love
Sun fulfilled rays

Hosie Rosie

There was a young lady named Rose,
who developed a run in her hose.
When her big toe stuck out;
she got zapped with the gout:
Now what Rosie does best,
is to limp all about.

Yo listen up babe

Had an ache in my head

So I swallowed a Bayer

Had a slight fever

So I took a chill pill

Had my eyes set on you

And your façade

So I call on sir Cupid

To help me along

With some love potion

Number ..69

Everything was Rosie

So I thought

Rosie this Rosie that

Best I ever had

She was so fine

We danced we wind

And dined

Till the early morning light

It is written it is said

We kissed

And off we went to bed

A dream came to me

Turned into a nightmare

Oh God

I'm Hiv..

Rosie

Rosie

She bounced into my life like sunshine on four legs
Chasing paper balls and toying with clothes pegs,
Blooming with vitality and purrfect happiness
She keeps me entertained for hours with her playfulness.

My love for my sweet Rosie is as infinite as the stars,
As great as the distance is from here to planet Mars,
Her bright green eyes convey to me her little every wish
Which usually refers to something tasty in a dish.

On days when all my problems strive to weigh me down,
Rosie leaps upon my knee and banishes my frown,
How could I not be jovial with such a friend as this?
She fills my time with pleasure and I reward her with a kiss.

I love each wiry whisker upon her little velvet face,
Her lynx like ears, soft deep purrs and total flawless grace.
My life is so much brighter with this furry beaming light
Who ends my day with harmony when Rosie sleeps with me at night.

Sweet Little Rosie

Rosie was a special dog and she was sweet.
She was a Jack Russell and she was petite.
Rosie was my best friend's favorite pet.
But she's gone and it's something I regret.
She liked me and I liked her as well.
She was beautiful and as sweet as caramel.

Letter To Rosie

I could tell you about the souls that I borrow,
the words that I swallow,
but that is my own sorrow.

Let's stick to me,
because after all these years you still do not see;
that what you have got is really me.

Last night I wrote you a poem,
about how lovely you looked in that new gown.
You returned me a frown.

You told me ":Let's talk about you for a change."
My writings just don't seem to do.
But what can I tell you?

I thought you already knew,
your dear Edward, a writer that's true.
Just listen, to these words that I brew.

There is not more to me, then there is to you.
