A child of light

I was a poor hardworking shepherd boy,                      Everyday I carried milk for a rich,                    

Seven Days 'Til A Place for the Son

Everyone's heard the story
Of how the world began
How God created all in seven days
On the seventh day He took a restful stand
And God said "let there be light"
On day 1 God said "let the darkness
Divide from the light"
On the left darkness was the vast universe
The light was the promise of a bright future
And it took

When Love Rested On My Heart

From love, from hope, soft
Words flowing from the spirit
Graceful, gentle, warm
Moments to expose the soul
Who hears of love’s quiet glow

Well Rested He Moaned Much

A slow swim through clouds of consciousness.
My wife said I had lost a day,
but I was timeless, though as my mind moved,
so did the world,
I travelled by ever clearing thoughts,
over distant skies and far mountains,
the earth was beautiful and without fault.

I was weightless, but not insubstantial,
for gravity simply lightened spirit and will,
a gentle force
moved me

Ego Rested

Ego rested, life is but play
We live in the moment
Rapture rises, we gently sway
Free from lust sediment 

No memory recall
Here and now is the all 
Ensconced in a bliss squall

Feel joy crested
Ego rested

Thought Rested Awareness

The unwavering faith molds the mind
for its inward journey to the eternity,
life turns into a turbulent river,
the currents of contemplation interlace,
and carry the elements of innate reflection.

The ultimate merger with the serene sea,
shaping the fathomless soul,
manifests in the final amalgamation
with the aspects of infinite bliss,
sublimating the essence of mental motif.

The swirling currents of the vagrant

Thought Rested Awareness

Sans thought who are we,
as we feel and see,
allowing soul's mind
to be love aligned?

Ego seeks to size
but let's realise
that analysis
is paralysis.

With thoughts left behind,
there's no ego bind;
we then can embrace
inpourings of grace.

Devoid of mind snare,
we’re truly aware,
animated thus,
where no fears nonplus.

Rapture of bliss beats,
cadence that repeats,
a blessing divine;
ours if we align.

Let us take a chance
in

Thought Rested Awareness

the mind is forever busy 
planning - doing - pushing 
             self absorbed 
                             scattered

Though Amply Rested I Still Yawn

Though amply rested, I still yawn

And feel energized after
light exercise doth spawn
break through viz mental impasse,
where endeavor to coax 
germinating ideas to sprout
about as successful as 
buzzfeeding, jump/kick starting 
rooting brown lawn
to whether drought.

Long fostering literary creativity
analogous to prying open
figurative curtain drawn
shut tight within
thy noggin unresponsive
even when brute force
strongly applied, but still...
no progress (for aging

Brighter Day Turn Into Well Rested Slumber Night Cd-

I hope and pray
Was brighter
And may your slumber be well rested
And that you were extra blessed
May He bless you, as Well?

I heard of a fella named Roger
Who had the most ginormous todger
Guys envied his dong
(Twas twelve inches long)
Six widows now share Rodger lodger!

These widows don’t charge Roger rent
But night after night Roger’s spent -
This randy young chappy
Sure makes these gals happy
I’m surprised his todger’s not bent

Just as fire is a good slave but a bad master, our power to reason, analyse and discern is both liberating as well as confining. Relying upon experience, memory and vicarious knowing, thoughts as deductive intelligence, that dissect and bisect are useful only for functioning in the external domain of transience, as we navigate earth

Through Rested Eyes

Comfort rise
No enemies
For centuries
God reward
To help us push forward
Keying with heart
Is a worthy art
Second chance at life 
Never chose to think twice
Through courage you have witnessed
True forgiveness
My beautiful destroyer of sin
Travel the world to see what should have been
Shine for your Savior
Welcome your adventure
Heal the broken hearts
Who bared the marks
Through imbalance
Find balance
Ease the shakiness

Devoid of resistance, simply flowing”

Yet maintaining our heightened awareness 
Meditation: glimpsing Gods miracles 

Innate to us, is silence and stillness 
Alive in the void within, so vibrant 
Emptiness throbbing with bliss in fullness

One with the flow, in quiet surrender
