You can never
grasp, understand
bees keep stinging
venom that I bring
like constant ringing
of your front door bell
all these of forgotten
echoing of the years
what's of a sin I'm selling
that light so brightens
like new born flashes
no tail sweet light
stops smiling
I'm a familiarity
about to die,
hornet's pain to bring
timeless of photos
and those grainy
flashes of memories
I don't wish to see,
lapses bounces on knee,
Was I born beautiful
why I feel like a mistake,
what's left in the wake,
I was given the one take
Each and every date
not driven stated
to be merrily sedated
but crash, boom & face it.

Premium Member Walk Through My Gate

A broken gate in the cemetery holds many memories. By Poet

Walk through my gate at night,
only with a full moon very bright.
The hanging "Gossamer" from the trees is an eerie sight,
I do not know if I like this invite.
This "Ghostly" night may bring some fright,
but in the end we will be alright.
Look over there at the the pale light,
it is over the "Grave" of the knight.
The queen was "Grief-stricken" not showing her delight,
only she knew the cruel husband with her insight.
This "Godforsaken" place is a great place to ghostwrite,
if the "Groaning" does not make one take flight.
It is time to go as we close the gate tight,
it could use a fresh coat of paint in white.

MY LOVE

My love, you are so empty at times, that you seek love and love again.
Sending out all your love, making each one take a vow.
A vow of marriage to be true, and bow to you in all your moods.
My love, so strong and true, sits like a lion in his den, protecting all of his kin.
My love, has such a big heart, he tests other like they are weak, and need his attention to be fixed.
My love, do not fear, for in the end all will be clear, the sky will clear, and we will see, all of life’s true meaning will become crystal clear.
For now, I will pray, that we follow the path of love, and home to above.
Thank you God, for all of life and loves, today and always, in thought.

Joy, a serene island

Not found outside, found to be coy,
From inside’s generated joy.
World is part good to please
To those that take as is,
An island of joy comes to buoy
So serene
From within,
Should one take care not to destroy.

SUNSETS

SUNSETS

ONE TAKE MESMERING
DEAR TO ME AND YOU ALWAYS
LET US SEE IT TOGETHER

Channeled Waves

I tune in to the channel coming forth & then
present what's coming through
A train of thoughts move like locomotives only
stopping for a few
From the ethers they descend like falling rain
precipitating flow from the sky
When they come all are drenched in declarations
bathing in the waters of divine
Surfing the annals of the mind can cause historical
waves to erect
Tsunamis destroy paradigms in a flash before
proceeding to redirect
By many it's seen as a disaster but viewed as a
blessing by a few
Sometimes we have to destroy to rebuild again &
make room for the new
Your ships may be docked for a spell but will sail
again when weather breaks
The will can be an unstoppable force to behold
moving like a train without its brakes
It's wet after clouds formed & quickly passed bringing
out the sun after the rain
Tears fell from the heavens to what's below washing
away the dirt & the pain
The eye in the sky sees all in one take illuminating
what's low from a higher place
Open channels flow with higher purpose seeking their
level & making waves in another space

Simplified

Cat got your tongue? Hey what’s the matter?
Why ain’t you sayin’ what’s there inside?
If I were somebody who didn’t know better,
I’d say you been simplified

Simplified, simplified
There’s forces all around you, son
And they’re tryin’ to stem the tide
Simplified – you been simplified

White versus black, Right versus Left
You must choose one – take only one side
If your own grey matter is a trifle bereft,
I’ll bet you been simplified

Simplified, simplified
There’s forces all around you son
That’re tryin’ to stem the tide
Simplified – you been simplified

Now you been lyin’ down with Nazis and Sheiks
‘cause it sweeps up your guilt and massages your pride
In Bizarro-Land, the reasoned man is the freak
‘cause he won’t be simplified

Simplified, simplified
There’s forces all around you, son
And they’re tryin’ to stem the tide
Simplified – you been simplified

So I don’t turn on the news or go to church no more –
I won’t take that paranoid ride
There’s more to holy wars than virgins and whores –
Don’t let your story be simplified
Don’t let your story be simplified
Don’t let your story be simplified

Perchance For To Dream

‘tis one forty five
I am still wide awake
Despite feeling sleepy
What more can one take
Perchance for to dream
Though never it would seem
For I am more awake
Than ever I have been
Awakening each hour
Since retiring to my bed
For to sleep ~ For to dream
Wide awake it would seem

The magnificent spotted beast crept down to the cool lake
In a ballerina’s way, slinking like a large flexible lizard
I stood in silence, watching, not wanting to disturb or alarm
She looked up at me as her tongue hit the water.
With one click I took a photo I have shared around the world.
Only one take? Some people ask.
I nod.
Remembering how terrified I was that she might dart across
And grab me by the throat.
Remembering how hard my heart was beating.
Remembering the fear she instilled.
One take was enough, thank you

Back To School

Stores are kinda busy,
people are on a shopping spree,
young and old they may be
they all want something free.

Then a message, pleasing to see,
reads: "buy one, take one for free".
An old woman asked the saleslady:
"Can I take only the free?"

A young salesman had a gimmick,
something difficult to mimic,
he was selling two books for eighty
but if one, it's only forty.

Two customers quarrel
for they want the same towel;
The manager just do not care
'cause stocks are everywhere.

Then an old man in a wheelchair
came looking for the bartender,
he was ordering a glass of beer
for he thought it was a bar.

Shoppers young, shoppers old,
some are warm, some are cold;
There is noise everywhere
'cause "back to school" in here.

Premium Member My Concerns

Expressions of my concerns for you, pulling you close to me but despite that you continue
to sleep on me from your journey of the unaccountable. A road to seek your individuality you often express, We took our
hands in sacrament we both said we do now
it seems you get so agitated and tell me you're
tired of this lifestyle.
Have you lost the faith you once possessed?
Am I a mind reader? You keep your frame of mind bottled up for whichever reasons today, yesterday, tomorrow you're persistently showing me your variants of your different faces and mental attitudes, No i'm not questioning myself, am I of dispossession of
you releasing your inner fears and tell me so
What I did do differently that I don't do now?
Lean towards me my child and these situations for I am the way, truth and light, I am
a trusting spirit and let no one take away your faith towards me.

Trust

It is not so easy to give hope,
Because it is committed through a thin rope.
You all changed the meaning of trust,
Because your words were written in the dust.

How much you can fool me,
Now I will not believe in you.
No one will give you mercy,
One day! you will regret on thy.

My dark sight is only my shadow,
And still it is purely deep.
In you, your heart's emotions are low,
Because your thoughts are darkly cheap.

How one can be so fake,
Few died to keep their promises alive.
Many break it in one take,
Still, you bargain on your friend's revive.

Just a dummy you are without shame,
People will kick at you at any cost.
Might to fool me was your aim,
A day my head will come on your toss.

In love, you break,
In words you falter,
In faith you fool,
In eyes you lie,
In smile you fake,
At heart you cheat,
And in trust you are dumb.

Final Ride

The elevator took its time,
A long delay on 3
And when it hit the lobby,
This is what confronted me:

Two men, their arms all wrapped around
What I believed to be
A covered piece of furniture,
As far as I could see.

I almost joked that it appeared
To look like someone dead,
But when I saw the stretcher,
Well, it filled my mind with dread.

I turned around; the doorman
Caught my eye and shook his head.
The message got through clearly,
Though the details weren’t said.

I’ve lived there over 40 years
And other tenants died.
I’d never seen one take
That final elevator ride.

Premium Member Touched By Death

Tears fall from faces of those touched by death
to be infused into the soul to hide
never will they leave, they'll stay with each breathe
and change the look of the world from inside
the bright daylight becomes a dim-lit light
and night becomes a lonely dark deep shade
wishes and dreams of a loved one take flight
and all the years they never lived will fade
yesterday's vanished and tomorrow's gone
yet, the bloodstream of emptiness will flow
the sun will rise on every lonely dawn
and the face in the mind will never grow
too many empty days of shades and realms
too many empty nights that overwhelms

Premium Member Sadly I Say Goodbye

Sadly I say goodbye

Precious one Take a bow
the anguish tortures that you've endured
I weep for darkness
for the hopelessness eats away I am very low
no longer shall we caress

I am only your love
Sadly I say goodbye

I am only your pictures.
taken and now placed on the living room wall
each passing day afflicts the body leaving you less richer
for the hopelessness eats away all the morrow

but I am still here

in your heart
in your dreams
yet it seems
to be so very real

No long can you touch me
for I am not here
the hard you try
the more you cry
after the hellos
sadly I say goodbye
