Premium Member Obnoxious Boor at Family Reunion

He was obnoxious almost to the point of repulsive
Constant banter escaped his always yapping jowls
He gave you no space or peace, monopolizing all conversation
Many stopped attending family reunions due to this brazen boor

Excuse me, please, if I am not impressed
By the unnecessary barb shot at another,
By plain rudeness and blatant snarkiness
Especially aimed at my sister or brother.

I’m totally turned off by a nasty attitude
Or overbearing and narcissistic behavior,
On the other hand, I’m all for pulchritude.
Yeah, I like beauty in all forms and flavors.

Then, those people who feel entitled,
Living off the largesse they did not earn
Whose arrogance goes about unbridled
I doubt those ne’er-do-wells will ever learn.

Yep, these folks, they simply turn me off
I don’t care to be around their kind,
I know, I know, some of them will scoff
But, as for me, they won’t change my mind.

Farewell to torment, wretchedness, and uneasiness

The clashing edge is filled with horrendous obscurity

A depressing and sickeningly feeble nothingness

That steers us growingly close to looming doom

Each piece of greenery falls to mildew.
On wood, a harsh fungus echoes sinew.
Agony squirmed and sloughed in my body
Then, all tumble, I grieve and feel guilty.

Glare from sunlight is gentler than rougher
Neither full nor snares my kindness, ever.
In this skirmish, there is a yearly brawl.
Yet, Vivid lights will no longer dazzle.

My feet will at last splash out all I've done.
Assume strolling on a once lush and shone.
The thrills strike my spirit and shred the core.
And then sing the fall in calm voice ashore.

You adorn your womb and lure us each year.
Yet, the loathsome frost's weep I overhear.

Narcissism

Narcissism's a traction
for doing what I do.
And making others think I'm right
from other points of view.

A word to know well—
Someone who’s contemptible!
A coward for sure . . .
	Infamous and obnoxious . . .
A miscreant immoral!

Some people never change
They just get worse with age
Rude, obnoxious and shrew
Mean words are always spewed

Landing like daggers in your flesh
Leaving many cuts that enmesh
Often feels so hurtful and surreal
Being around them is not ideal

Avoiding them can be adverse
They may haunt you like a curse
Ironically life would not be the same
If they were able to stop and refrain

Obnoxious Beat

Midnight thunder upon my head
and I have no place to put my bed
Darkness covers the bereaved sky
And big trucks are rolling by
Cars speeding up and down the haggard street
And the crickets are rebelling in the trees
The owl sits on the broken branch
hooting a miserable song
They watched mighty men scramble around
looking for a passion that has broken down
They hold down their heads in shame
While the base rips its garment in two
and every one slowly drifts away looking confused
The night is not quiet and my soul is on fire
I cannot tell from whence it came
but something is going up in flame
The wind is blowing from East to West
And I am waiting on an unannounced guest
who has all the power to uncover the mess
The day of reckoning is approaching
And the glimmer and glamour is drowning
This night has pierced my troubled soul and
the story starts to unfold
The obnoxious beat echoed through the floor
And the night bore its penalty
While darkness looms over the contentious house

Poems Were Obnoxious

Poems were obnoxious,
Also seemed so atrocious;
No one did read them.

YOU WERE WARNED
THE DOLLAR WOULD CRASH.
DESTRUCTION OF WEALTH
TOOK PLACE AT LAST.

DID YOU DO
WHAT YOU WERE TOLD.
INVEST YOUR DOLLARS
IN SILVER AND GOLD.

TODAY WE HAVE
JUST RICH AND POOR.
MIDDLE CLASS PEOPLE
EXSIST NO MORE.

YOU MUST STAND
IN ORDER TO FIGHT.
IMPOSED STARVATION
WAS CONSIDERED A RIGHT.

STARVE THE MASSES
CALLED IT POPULUS CONTROL.
YOU CAN SLAVE FOR THE RICH
IF YOU DO AS YOUR TOLD.

WITH CAOS AND MAYHEM
ACROSS THE LAND.
THE RICH DON'T CARE
WHAT THE POOR DEMAND.

The New Year's celebrations are over
Back to business as usual, regain our composure
No more acting like a louse
Being obnoxious around the house
No more excuses for acting like our dog Rover

Openly opinionated
Blunt with few social skills
Nobody likes a know it all
Overbearing and rude
Xanthippe – this speaks for itself!
Ignorant of the feelings of others
Often wrong but you will never admit it
Unwilling to listen to advice
So full of your own importance

Why do you treat people so badly?
Other people’s opinions matter
Maybe you should take a good look at yourself
All people deserve to be treated with respect
NEVER cross my path again

Those Obnoxious Facebook Game Requests

Those Obnoxious Facebook Game Requests

By Elton Camp

Anthony’s weiner I’d nearly as soon see
As your game request number thirty-three

You sent another as you’ve done before
And once again, I fully intend to ignore

Of all things the Facebookers post,
I despise game requests the most

They are just so disgustingly inane
From sending more, please refrain

Your idiot dog’s pic is better than that
Or even one showing your hairball cat

Perhaps this will help you to realize
How much game requests I despise
