Obnoxious Boors
Excuse me, please, if I am not impressed
By the unnecessary barb shot at another,
By plain rudeness and blatant snarkiness
Especially aimed at my sister or brother.
I’m totally turned off by a nasty attitude
Or overbearing and narcissistic behavior,
On the other hand, I’m all for pulchritude.
Yeah, I like beauty in all forms and flavors.
Then, those people who feel entitled,
Living off the largesse they did not earn
Whose arrogance goes about unbridled
I doubt those ne’er-do-wells will ever learn.
Yep, these folks, they simply turn me off
I don’t care to be around their kind,
I know, I know, some of them will scoff
But, as for me, they won’t change my mind.
