Obnoxious Boors

Excuse me, please, if I am not impressed By the unnecessary barb shot at another, By plain rudeness and blatant snarkiness Especially aimed at my sister or brother. I’m totally turned off by a nasty attitude Or overbearing and narcissistic behavior, On the other hand, I’m all for pulchritude. Yeah, I like beauty in all forms and flavors. Then, those people who feel entitled, Living off the largesse they did not earn Whose arrogance goes about unbridled I doubt those ne’er-do-wells will ever learn. Yep, these folks, they simply turn me off I don’t care to be around their kind, I know, I know, some of them will scoff But, as for me, they won’t change my mind. Written June 1, 2022

IHi Milton, don't care for people been rude or criticising and throwing a hint as to whom they mean or group peoples poetry into an ungracious state , I think we should all wear an evil eye I know some poets have one to ward away their bad vibes - big Greek superstition. For me it works, jealousy is rife on planet earth . Hugs and blessings Jennifer .

They are, indeed. I'd say the percentage rate is about 99%. We are a splendid crowd and a marvelous poetry fraternity.

Nope. Not at all. Just letting off some steam??? I don't know. As Gershon says, "I just write 'em, I can't explain 'em." I was thinking about what I like and don't like in people. Actually, most people here on the site are very lovely and kind.
