Fae-tinged English Haiku Duo

England glides in grace.
Heartfelt Oak and Sage herald
Its faery language.

English lightens weight,
Glides through fae-tinged tales to wake
Syllabic rebirth.

Dawn of the Sabbath

Sabbath rest hastens
sunset charisma lightens
my weekly burdens

Angel feathers

Her hair is like silk, and her voice is like rain. Her breathe is the dew that lays soft on the plains. Her eyes are an ocean reflecting the stars it goes on and on, there's no telling how far. Her smiles like the rising of each morning sun and her beauty the moonlight when all work is done. I wish she could see the beauty I see, the chains that she's broken to set herself free. With each passing day, I hope she gets better and lightens her loads to the weight of her feathers.

Woman

Woman, the source of nourishment and happiness,
With a sweet soul, like that of a guiding angel.

Woman, the bedrock of a peaceful nation,
Nurtures and brings everyone to the table
To learn respect, compassion, and unity.

Woman, a being to adore, cherish, protect, and support,
Is an elegant queen, deserving of our love.

Woman, the one who lightens burdens,
Comforts with smiles and a warm hug of hope.

Woman, the symbol of care and kindness,
Brings balance, harmony, and joy to life.

Zen mode

doubts that arise
are beheld in surprise
signalling we are dreaming
in such thoughts so streaming

if we would have God appear
then ego must disappear
thinking process end
for soul to ascend

though we oscillate 
in time thoughts abate
load on our heart lightens
throb of magnetism heightens

A Smile

On hard days, it's not easy to look for joy
or to spread it to others, when your heart 
is so heavy it feels like your body weighs more
BUT, if you share a smile, and get one in return
you can feel a bubble form deep within and the 
weight of the world on your shoulders lightens

With Love- POTD

Your warm touch turns me a blossoming flower 
Your love lit eyes hold the depth of an ocean
Your presence, a soft caress in my bower
May I stay by you in endless devotion.
Through trials of life, you stand like a tower.
In life, you’re careful to proceed with caution.
With daring, you face the challenges of life.
Happy and contented I am as your wife. 

With each passing year, our love steadily grows.
With every breath, our intimacy strengthens.
My dear, in your company, I feel so close
Even in darkness, our love blooms and brightens.
Life, through trials and joy, like a river, flows.
When you are by my side, my burden lightens.
You are not just my partner, but my close friend.
All I wish is that our deep love should not end.

In the quiet of the night, I would always steal a glance, wishing you’d see me in this dance, your laughter echoes like it’s some sweet serenade, as our hearts beat together, my love will never fade, the moments we shared, when it was just us there, the world melted away when it was just you and me, when I was in your arms, that was when I felt truly free, your smile is a light, that lightens up my soul, knowing your here next to me makes me whole, every worry I’ve ever had drifts like the air, knowing that in this room there is love there, yet here I stay, standing in doubt, hoping one day you’ll look for what I’m about, you made every dark thought seem sweet, knowing your somewhere out there makes my life complete

Without You, Lord, my life is incomplete, no matter what I face, in trials so steep. Through valleys of struggle, You’re always near,  bringing sweet release, calming every fear.  

In moments of doubt, when I feel so alone, Your love is a shelter, my heart’s true home. In You, Lord, I've learned the true meaning of joy, a peace in which surpasses, nothing can destroy.  

With each passing day, Your light guides my way, in the darkest shadows, I find strength to stay. For in every heartbeat, Your presence I find, I know that I'm always on Your mind. You give Your promise of hope, forever entwined in Your living Word You constantly remind.  

So I lift up my voice in gratitude and praise, for the grace that sustains me all of my days. Without You, Lord, I'm lost in a maze. But with You by my side, I’m blessed every day, Lord You always make a way, and lightens loads of every day.

Put on a Smile

Try to spread some cheer with a happy smile,
Giving a feeling that life is worthwhile. 
Smile lightens the tedium of the mile,
Warming many hearts without any guile. 
By creating in others a sweet smile,
We're scripting for us a better profile.

A sweet smile can make everything look bright,
Igniting the dark world with dazzling light.
It can lift everyone from sorrows blight,
Making the murky lives filled with delight. 
A smile can brighten even the dark night,
Removing from all, sorrow’s harsh onslaught.

A smile can calm even a troubled sea,
Bringing such benign peace to you and me.

Your music never fails to make
the stars go dancing in the dark.
The moon observes them wide awake,
and floods of light stream down the park.

The stars go dancing in the dark
and paint the sky in silver dyes
to sparkle and to mesmerize.

to see celestials diffused.

Friendship

A gentle knock on my door,
unexpected, yet familiar.
My heart lightens.

Words flow easily,
laughter bubbles up.

Shared silence speaks volumes,
comfortable and warm.
There's no need to pretend.

In moments of darkness,
a steady hand reaches out.
I'm not alone.

Disagreements come,
and honest words are exchanged.
We grow stronger.

Years pass like days,
distance can't separate.
Bonds deepen.

A phone call at midnight,
no explanations needed.
Understanding flows.

Celebrating victories,
however small they seem.
Joy multiplies.

Tears shed together,
burdens shared, halved.
Healing begins.

Imperfections accepted,
flaws embraced.
Unconditional support.

In a world of change,
a constant remains.
