Tints of Apology

An apology lightens my world with varnished hints of atonement.

A Heavy Light Thought

Gravity is telling time
line by line
my future is told
but I will rest assured
death lightens the load.

FOUR SEASONS
May
breezes
in the trees
High summer
lightens

Rain

Rain
Veils my tears
Thundering
Conceals the scream of my heart
Bolt
Lightens up the gloom
Um waiting for you
Under the shower

Dancing In the Rain

Dancing In The Rain

The poetess’s dance
in the rain lightens my heart
I hear her footsteps
echoing overture words
proposing matrimony.

Fae-tinged English Haiku Duo

England glides in grace.
Heartfelt Oak and Sage herald
Its faery language.

English lightens weight,
Glides through fae-tinged tales to wake
Syllabic rebirth.

Morning

Wind chimes chiming throughout wind gusting. Trees dancing as darkness lightens dawn for man, A day of peace, a day of darken clouds would want to weep. 10/30/16

The Zero World

How the tide rises and falls,
How the sky lightens and fails,
How the wind peacefully goes
To the zero scale it contains - zero doesn't judge, it just exists.

What I Want

For my cry
to my unveiled sadness
that someone wrap me up
in a warm embrace...
for this life
dark shaded,
a sun of joy,
or a candle stump
that if it doesn't heat up,
at least a little lightens...!

Sing a Little Song, Hum a Little Tune

Sing a little song to help your day along
Hum a little tune by the light of the moon

   Music lightens heavy burdens
      Eases stress, relieves pain

~ Carries you gently o'er life's sweet refrain

Life's Highway

We're all destined for the pine box one day It's what we do with the time in between, yeah or neigh Traveling the right road Lightens the heavy load If you were me, you've enjoyed life's highway

To a Flamingo

A leggy pinkish bird
With grace and calm exposed.
How my drear day lightens
When you come into sight.
Painted like sunset stirred,
Standing pointedly posed,
Your mere presence brightens.
My heart with you takes flight.

Dear Ones

You are the treasure in our chest...
Our lanterns that guide us through out our path...
May the wind lead you to where your dreams desire as the sun lightens your life
Stars shall glow tonight as we look back to the journey with you...

I Refuse To Choose You

enchanted lies sprout from your devilish tongue
feigned concern lightens your mysterious eyes
a shallow heart beats in your chest
your words are hollow and lost in communication
Your lips attempt to deceive
your greedy hands reach for my innocence

Seasons

Spring always brings forth a smile
     Just ask a butterfly

Summer lightens every heart
     Just hear the skylarks cry

Autumn colours tint our view
     As daylight waves goodbye

Winter ,sleeping,bides its time
When all nature seems to die.

A Lovers Quest

Warm beady tears
Trace their way
Down her beautiful chin

Warm hearty smile
Lightens her essence
Prompted by his kisses

He still doesn't understand
Why she cries like she does
Content he offers a reprieve

Almost Amongst the Trees

Almost a breathe amongst the trees
Peace be on him
His words lightens the World
He has a recurring past
with different phrases, drifting
His jogged memory allies itself
to a multitude of thoughts
Years glancing hope shall blossom
Today rain blows over the lawn

Viewing

Blowing through all
sunshine lightens
skies blue, the moon
the view, all arise
hope and praying
the days are long
longing for stars
breathe thoroughly
night and days arises
breathless surprises
longevity lives
months, years passing by
realizes
lights arise.

Early Morning Darkness

Early morning darkness
Shrouds my universe
While the trickling of
Falling leaves
Brush against bare branches
Downward to the ground

As the sun rises
The sky lightens
People are walking through
The foliage laden landscape
Shuffling the leaves
As they press onward

I Love You

When I think about you
My heart pumps
And tremble trough
The deepest humps

When I see your face
My heart brightens
And my face lightens

When I close my eyes
All I can see is your face
When I'm in my deep sleep
All I dream is you
My love is as pure as Gold for you

Spring Is In the Air

Today I sat in the sunshine,
I lingered for a time,
Flowers are budding,
Insects are a'buzzing,
Seasons have turned, somehow,
The air is milder now,
Spring is in the air,
Lightens us up everywhere,
Human to earth, human to earth,
Thanks for Spring, for what it's worth!
