Lake Ontario

great lake
beautiful lake
in Huron Wyandot

Ontarí’io

names but thunder
they merely rumble
intentions that echo

lake of shining waters
beautiful water
in Iroquois Mohawk

Oniatari:io

names are how we honour
reflecting our own light
our little wave
our tide our turn
to appreciate this life

Such a spiteful petulant bloated fake
Waterways’ names aren’t for you to take
With hubris your guide
Set your golf clubs aside
And go jump in your rechristened lake!

I want so badly to live

I want so badly to live
Here on earth today
And it is the hottest day
Of the Summer today
It is 48
I can't take the heat
The heat
Is killing all of us
It is very bad for the people
Who have asthma
And heart problem
I am thinking about
Going on for a swim
On lake Ontario
That will cool me off
Also I am not crazy about swimming
I prefer to go for walks
On the boardwalk
First thing in the morning
Because there is nobody around
Also we haven't had any rain for a long
Time
Every day I hope it will rain
But it never does

I never stopped loving you

I never stopped
Loving you father
I did everything
You asked me to
Every single day
You name it
I washed your people's foot
I fished together with you
On Lake Ontario
We got some fish
To feed you hungry people
It was a hard to clean the wish
Now we are going to barbecue the fish
My Father's people arrived
At the Lake Ontario
At noon
We gave their meal with a dinner roll
And some red wine to drink
We had finished eating at 2:00 pm
At 2:00 PM it started to rain
Very hard
We got caught in the rain
Also we got all wet
It was terrible
We never expect that we would had rain today
Yes it caught us by surprise

OCTOBER 6, 2022

Fall in the Finger Lakes,
a meeting in Canandaigua,
a nature reserve visit on West Hill
north of Naples, the season at early
peak, all the colors including green,
the thick, deep forests of the Allegheny
Plateau chasing the underfunded farms
North to Lake Ontario
Back up on Interstate Ninety,
heading home to Syracuse, farm and forest
blowing by, tractor-trailers slightly menacing
at over seventy miles per hour, global commerce
heading home to Portland, Maine and Boston,
to the Port of New York City, the territory
in-between drenched in the colors of confident
change, fanning the flames of our faith
in the future, calling attention to the
numinous rhythms of this beautiful place
where we live!

Overthinker

Yes I Admit I Am An Overthinker

Things Were Complicated And I Was A Tinker

I Was Fed Up Of Those Darkest Days

That Ruined My Harvest In All The Ways

I Also Admit I Wasted A Lot Of Time

In Useless Things That Were At Prime

But Now Movies And Shows All I Discard

For Me It Is All Like A Big Junkyard

Because The Reality Of Life Hits Me Hard.

I Was Amazing At Imaging Fake Scenario

That Started From A Fish And Ended At Lake Ontario

Since I Was Lost In Deep Imagination

My Soul Was Full Of Dissatisfaction

Comparing Best Outcome, With A New Possible Outcome

This Cycle Continues Without Any Fragmentation

Sporadically I Used To Hold One Thought,

A Random Thought That I Never Sought

That Used To Grind My Peaceful Mind

And Make Me Feel A Little Distraught.

I Became Too Much Lazy To Respond

In This Disease Of Over-Scrutiny

I Achieved Nothing But Lost Many Good Bonds

But Now I Am Trying To Change Myself

Seeking Deep Inside And Find Oneself

Who Was Once Passionated And Addicted

Towards His Hobby And Career Goals.

OSWEGO, NEW YORK

The summer sun was setting
and the urban landscape
where the river flowed north
into the last Great Lake settled
into quiet, the working class burghers
and their beautiful families finally
relieved of endeavor and stress
The northwest breezes caressing the
waters turned reflected street lights
into shimmering diamonds that made
the city seem rich under a golden blue,
orange blue, cobalt blue sky, then black
sky and quiet, a hint of prayer and
promise and a community finally at rest,
the kind of Saturday night that a
Sunday morning deserves

Oswego: from the Onondaga deyoshweege
“splitting waters”, “pouring out place” – where the
Oswego River meets Lake Ontario .

SYRACUSE DEPARTURE

Twelve degrees at seven AM
and the weather a sharp bitter
force off Lake Ontario
The daybreak is luminescent
gray, the bright star rising, the
cloud cover glowing like the
opalescent door to the mysterious
power source of some
Jules Verne wonder
Passengers board
Instructions are given
Men and machines withdraw like
medics now useless to a resurgent
warrior
On runway twenty-eight / ten she
turns into the wind
Bright light splits the clouds
The big fan jets roar and her
man-made mean heat makes her
airborne and silver, crashing through
the morning, banking east above the
city, screaming toward the sun

urban noise. . .
2000 mile drive
to Lake Ontario
dreamless sleep in tent
till generators charge

Welcome To Toronto

A warm greeting from Toronto
to you all
to enjoy a charming sunrise
in the lake Ontario
Or to visualize a sunset with
red burning clouds in
the west evening sky……

You can enjoy the red burning lips
of blonde girls with multicolor hair
Multiracial people are living here
with joy and peace……

You can also enjoy
the fine beaches of lake Ontario
a great boat ride there
or a fishing trip to the deep lake….

Do not forget to have a trip to Toronto
You are welcome cordially
to the great city of Toronto….

An Evening In Toronto

I want to get lost
in an evening in Toronto
I want to see the fine Cherry beach
in the lake Ontario…..

I want to visit the victoria park
in crescent lake road
I want to date a naughty girl
in the McDonald at downtown
of Toronto…….

I want to enjoy a sunset
in the lake Ontario
I want to enjoy the return
of office people to home…..

I want to get lost with you
in an evening of Toronto
Keeping your hand in my hand
walking Side by side…….
