What are you doing here, Crane?
In the mountains with your long legs and backwards knees?
Your head bobbing forward with each step,
we’re not used to birds like you.
The magpie is watching too,
before he goes on with his morning tea.
Thanks for coming
but I hope you can find your way home.
Empty, I look
through the hole…
The cardboard can be wrapped
with satin,
sparkled with glitter,
rolled in paint.
I have to run
to the hall closet,
retrieve
with undies
about my knees.
I grab three,
tear the paper,
empty…
There are some
looked down their nose
in the troubled Covid times
at those who bump elbows
as opposed to shaking hands
so with a bend let's start a trend
a new fad across the land
and instead if you please
why don't we
lift a leg and all knock knees
When out last week
a-looking around
heard the the boys in the band
and their sound
rocking out all right
a-pleasing the crowd
with strings and keys
playing so loud
while out that night
a-doing the town
saw the boys in the band
getting down
hands were a-clapping
knees a-slapping
toes a-tapping
flip-flops a-flapping
in time to the music
of the Beach Bar groove
where at five bucks a beer
I had nothing left to lose
nothing there but the Beach Bar blues
Eye wood bee grateful,
Ifs yous dont judge me poorly
Four writen this whey
Just doing what u asked me.
I'd be chuffed if you red dis
My dodgy atemp to write
This cat's meow of a verse
Pleese dont bee salty
I went to a restarant tuther day
They had two many knifes
I asked the waither for informations
It cawsed a grate kerfuffle
I was reeley shook
Delulu rizz me mate showd me
His sockdolager left me realing
A bee's knees this verse is.
This social status brings me to my knees, as I sense a divide, a widening disease.
The upper class, devoid of any pride, spreads their lies and hide behind the media while
others silently bide.
They try to appease, ignoring the pleas of those in need, lost in the social freeze.
A creed that breeds, like a newly sprouted seed, fostering division, where hatred's the creed.
While they preach to the masses, those dealt a cruel fate, social structures thrive, but their
hearts are sedate.
This creed only nourishes greed at the top, while so many struggle, just trying to stop.
I have paint stains on my blue shirt
my jeans have holes in both knees
I look like I am homeless
said the old man into the breeze
the breeze gave a hearty laugh
you’re right in style, honey
Let me show you a fashion graph
knee hole jeans cost real money
Jazz you are perfect, you’re my dream
I love you so much I could just scream
You constantly make my heart pound
So weak at the knees I could fall to the
ground
I’m captured by you every single day
Im enthralled by every word you say
I love it when we sing together
Those moments I want to last forever
When my worries start to compile
They go away with just one smile
When I have some time for reflection
I see the gravity of our connection
Ive told you things I haven’t told a soul
Things that weighed me down, things
that took a toll
With you I feel so incredibly free
Being accepted just being the real me
Oh, how can I resist?
Luscious chocolaty creaminess presented with such allure.
My diet starts... tomorrow morning !
Wordku: 5-7-5 words
Speaking of someone, somewhat badly,
when beside the still waters,
I know not, what sort of chap,
yet these words, sadly,
were my neighbour's daughter's...
“Altho' neither sleepy, nor needing a nap,
but, as it's always greener on the other side,
and yet, despite my impassioned pleas,
he makes me to lie down in green pastures,
where I gather grass stains on my knees.”
Please heal the disease,
I'm down on my knees,
Connecting with the energies,
Tuning into the entity,
Stepping inside to see,
Its molecular activities,
Chasing the electricity,
The energy full of negativity,
Help me better who I can be,
So we can end the misery,
It's not a mystery,
Clear away the history,
Factory reset,
NOW is all we get,
Set your sights high,
Pry away old layers,
Shy away from old behavior,
Be the savior to yourself,
The elephant in the room,
It's waiting to bloom,
To be groomed,
Consuming the light,
Ending the fight,
Crumbling in the night,
The goal is in sight,
I'm right on track,
Taking my power back,
Practicing how i please,
The body healing from dis-ease.
Gourmets everyday wheeze
More moreish morsels tease
Picnics Ploughmans picky teas
No duds taste buds floods please
Those with epicurean degrees
Sees the wood from the trees
Knows.. chose with ease the DB's
Dairy fairy sybaritic disease
Whiffs waft on the breeze
Stole my heart kept the keys
So good the Bee's Knees
Seize the day with CHEESE pleas
If I were an orangutan
to be the best I can
as thoughtful by nature
I'd swing through the trees
and hang by my knees
while patiently contemplating
like an abominable orange snowman
Getting down on our knees
Is this really to say "God Please"
Reaching out to God can sometimes tease
But can we really reach him on our knees
Is kneeling down a way to beg
Saying to God "To this I am lead"
But silence comes as no surprise
We wait for something before our eyes
Perhaps something small
Or the avoidance of death
Can we trust God with all that is left
Perhaps the day is not the day anew
Should we stop trusting
When we don't have his view
Sometimes death is mercy
That's even for you
But still get on your knees
Look and see what God will do
Fall is upon us, don’t you see, feel it’s warm and cool crisp wind blowing in the trees alive with color, stores are alive with sights and sounds of pre holiday sakes galore…
I see something else, unsheltered families, people, sleeping in boxes, park benches, with nothing but clothes upon their back, Jesus where art thou..it’s mid October, only two months away, yet no cheer do I feel.
Hate all around, nobody wishes to reason with one another, nobody sits down to talk with one another…business before humility.
My heart hurts everywhere I look, Lord give me your eyes so i can see your children who are hurting, give me your arms so I can reach out to them, a child without a toy, a simple stuffed animal sure to bring a smile, a warm cup of coffee, to warm up their insides.
Lord, I ask of nothing for my family, please surround these lost souls, welcome them to your table of plenty, may they be full with your word, help US to open up OUR hearts, for its hard to stumble when your on your knees..
