Notes About The Poem

Written 26th June, 2026 for "The Worst Verse in the Universe" grand slam poetry contest sponsored by Jami Patterson.

Spelling and slang cringe on purpose.

Cat's Meow - someone or something that is highly outstanding, excellent, or stylish

Kerfuffle - noisy, confused, and usually trivial disturbance, fuss, or commotion typically caused by a disagreement or.                misunderstanding

Delulu - delusional

Rizz - charisma

Sockdolager - a decisive, finishing blow (like a knockout punch) or something exceptionally large, outstanding, and impressive

Bee's knees - something is excellent, of extremely high quality, or the absolute best

A bee's knees verse

Eye wood bee grateful,
Ifs yous dont judge me poorly
Four writen this whey
Just doing what u asked me.

I'd be chuffed if you red dis
My dodgy atemp to write
This cat's meow of a verse
Pleese dont bee salty

I went to a restarant tuther day
They had two many knifes
I asked the waither for informations
It cawsed a grate kerfuffle

I was reeley shook
Delulu rizz me mate showd me
His sockdolager left me realing
A bee's knees this verse is.

Hahaha. There are actually people who talk this way and probably might spell this way too. Great job with this contest. I have my own terrible poem on standby. I try to post only one a day but I wrote a bunch of poems last weekend and am putting them up according to how fast the contests are closing out. The bees knees is a fun slang I used to see in old literature or maybe I heard it in old songs
