Small guys or bigger, all have a mobile,
E’en tattered beggars… all have a mobile.
Social-media eager has a mobile,
Be they big bloggers… all have a mobile.
Even a gravedigger has a mobile,
Or well-known figures… all have a mobile.
One not sweet like sugar has a mobile,
Or sweet-voiced singers… all have a mobile.
Every Tom, Dick, Meagre has a mobile,
Big figure leaguers… all have a mobile.

Ghazal (Tongue-in-cheek) |11.10.2024| humour
Poet’s note: Every Tom, Dick, Meagre has a mobile, as this Ghazal claims, but many true leaguers do not bother about smart phones. The world truly runs by the people that keep low profile. The billionaire investor Warren Buffet used no smart mobile for long years till Apple’s Tim Cook gave one insisting on its use. He does not waste time on social media. Pop Singer Ed Shiran also does not use smart mobile, and says, I used to see world through mobile’s screen, but now I see it with my own eyes. We can add actor Tom Cruise and singer Justine Bieber in this list, and quite a few more.

She made this bard the courts most hilarious jester
A ferris wheel of brown-orange eyes expresses her
Try to look in those eyes and not become their requester
I fall in like quicksand, into muddy pools as I caress her
Cinnamon of that iris gives my heart nothing but pester
The purse strings wide open, my soul now, her investor

A legend, a myth, a tale
A hero, who dared to prevail
Inspiring, with every breath
A champion, in life and death
Strength, honor, and pride
A legend, who never hides
Courageous, against all odds
A fighter, who trusts in the gods
Wisdom, the key to his reign
A visionary, with a clear aim
A mentor, to all who seek
A teacher, humble and meek
A mama's boy, with a heart so pure
A warrior, who can endure
A slay queen, with grace and style
A conqueror, who doesn't beguile
A money-loving lady, with a mind so keen
A savvy investor, who's always on the scene
A hunter, who stalks his prey
A legend, who doesn't sway
Achraf Hakimi, a name to behold
A legend, who's worth more than gold
A defender, with skills so rare
A victor, who knows how to prepare
Salute to a legend, who leads the way
A role model, who shows us the right way
A trailblazer, who sets the pace
A legend, who leaves an indelible trace.

I need to know
if you have seen
or heard anything from me
or about me
that would cause you to hesitate
to hire me full-time
for the next sex worker
and spiritual director
and financial co-investor
position
Opening up
on your personal
and political empowerment team.
I would also like to know
if you have seen and heard,
tasted and smelled,
felt and touched
anything positive
compelling
engaging about me
That would discourage you
from firing me
from my current part-time position
enabling your fears of losing me
to some better
bigger
more powerful,
possibly even somewhat more enlightened
and less angry,
narcissist.

What stands guaranteed?
The moon's drifting away, oh
inconstant cosmos.
Gravity fights us,
taxes come due, boys will org@sm,
some things are certain.
What about love? We
need extended warranties
for consumer faith.
Permanent pressed
love - no crumpled hopes
- investor safety.
“Love bonds”, or "emo-
care?” No worry, we’ll find a
marketable name...

Dancing
There is dancing
On the ground floor of earth
Eternally grateful by the beauty
I am sophisticated heart investor
Flora to flora
Fauna to fauna
I am seeking the lessons of body
No nudity is there
Centripetal gravity force of mind controls heartily
In my heart thou life dove is flying
The blazing dance craving my inside
As divine delightful oceanic tide
The eyebrows playing with eyeballs
The nose and nostrils spying the lips
The lips amorously kissing the mouth
The hands and fingers praying and pouring mysticism
The breast beating the mind lights of world fusion
The waist and navel showing the horizontal distance of happiness
The toes hypnotizing the weak fellow in moonwalking backwardness
No I am not there
Roaming I am on the apex throne of Olympic
where your dance shaking the spirit of Zeus soul
And Cupid seeking an eternity of me instead god of gods
by mystical unstated words of shaking exotic body
There I am in your veins of dance
In your heart surviving as an unrelenting drunkard
Till the connection with the metaphysics
where God lives alone thick ......

The orchestra strains to be symphonic --- a bee in a tin box.
Cigar smoke thunders, molecules of sound wilt
only to be dialed up through brass lungs.
The combo is quaintly upholstered, a classic sports car
driven by Disney. Outmoded refrains gurgle.
We see the obsolete road ahead, feel the bumps,
the lack of shock absorbers.
The third piano concerto, the romance of the exile.
1940 is pulled from under its Perspex lid, served up
as fresh Prosciutto di Parma consumed in a diner
long derailed.
The mind warps eras, Michelangelo has gone Hollywood,
the 'Creation' sketched on a paper napkin.
Last notes.
Hands too large for tuxedoed minds, stamp
like rhapsodic elephants.
Percussive fingers slam-dunk ivory tusked themes,
Russian bells quake California.
Rolling vespers outgrowing each decade,
times now locked in a recovery CD millimeters thin.

How can we know what lies ahead
Tomorrow we might wake up dead
And yet we make our lifelong plans
As if the future's really man's
In hot pursuit of daily bread
We hang on words that Buffet said*
And wish by rich men to be led
We insignificant grains of sand
How can we know
Through dark of night we quave in bed
Though morning comes, still fear and dread
Our troubling thoughts, they have not fled
Where vision's mostly blind and bled
How can we know
Iambic Tetrameter
*Warren Buffet, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, is arguably the most successful
stock market investor who's ever lived. He is definitely the wealthiest.

Savings in different types the best of them some. The tongue thanking God for all he blessed with, the heart that reminds it’s creator and the wife pleasing her husband are the best of savings for a lucky investor for the world other!

one just never knows...
entered a hospital draw...
only for good luck...
both eyes...lenses changed...
vision's now twenty twenty...
(almost)...but just fine...
was about to call...
my investor and invest...
money on a chance...
hospital called first...
my minimum bid...it won...
rolling stones portrait...
omens...not my thing...
coincidence though...that is...
my investment...done : )

"Where from this?",
Laughter mingled with pity,
She was dressed with pretty,
Lipstick applied fervently to a mouth;
Red mouth matching a wild attire,
Her walking shook the whole land,
Eyes and mouths were timed as spam,
She was in a blinking eyeglass,
But knew she was drawing side mass,
Inextricably I will say,"she's good looking",
The hem of her dress was raised slightly when the wind blew,
What was spotted deserves self speculation,
Lips were licked,...body was stimulated after sensation,
From one corner came a scream,
"...thief,...thief...she is a hardened criminal",
Who will speak on her behalf to obtain freedom?
Nothing spared her the chance of doubt,
The pain that was vested into her that day was nominal,
Convinced by her deceptive glib of professionalism,
"I'm an investor",she always say,
With all my heart,I love her liberalism,
After several years of being a prison mate,
Her life is now channeled to spiritualism,
Great time in new testament holding grace!

The purchase of our first home was a charm
No money down and very affordable payments
We learned well, and were never alarmed or harmed
But we were disappointed by delays in street pavements
Our second home purchase required a co-investor
Their family and mine were happy and well pleased
Our prayers were heard and answered by our creator
Credit was good; loan was approved; and no one was deceived
The purchase of our third home was the result of very hard work
We had a family business; and my wife and I also had regular jobs
Fifteen years rushed by, and then the national economy began to hurt
We were forced to sale our home at a loss; our 401-K's were simply robbed
By God's Grace, we remained faithful to Him, to our family, and to our church
By God's Wisdom, we paid down the debt, retired early, and avoided the worse

The day you left
My fall didn't take long
I still blame you
For all that went wrong
And as I occupy
This sofa of crumbs
l've crowned myself
The king of bums
Because with you gone
Nashville forgot about me
I walk these streets
Looking for pizza and beer
But so much is gone
And the only thing here
Is a hipster with hotsauce
In his beard
From a designer chicken
That some investor reared
Because with you gone
Nashville forgot about me
I walk past drunks on bicycles
Painting the town
And past faux modern condos
That would make Johnny frown
And these sanitized bars
Where tourist go to drink
Would make George
Sober up and think
Because with you gone
Nashville forgot about me
I guess we were the past
Two outlaws in crime
We stole each others hearts
And past loves prime
But I never thought you'd go
And leave me here alone
Slowly wasting away
Like designer chicken pulled from the bone
Because with you gone
Nashville forgot about me

I'd rather be a carefree jester
than some callous share investor
I blow your mind and you the money
my escapades and balance way more funny
And in the end when all else fades
I had my jokes and you mere trades
Some say the fool is more a prophet wise not shallow
whilst your endeavours foul and fallow
And when the final curtain falls
you juggled figures I had balls

Like an eagle She soars high in the blue sky, fathoming for succulent opportunities in the vast financial landscape below;
Upon the tree cozy and lazy She gazes at the jungle of stocks, for the right prey to pounce upon, wandering innocently below;
Vulture’s patience She displays forever – hurry is never in Her vocabulary;
Sits on cash for years, She – waiting for the market crash long foresaw, She;
As an Amazonian parrot She has digested the investing lexicon – every word of He is a measured gem;
Wise as an Elephant she roams the market maze -
Remembering every lesson learnt amid agony;
Solitary She dwells; alone She hunts;
Prides and packs She abhors - ferocious tigress She is;
Selfish She is not – teaches the world what She knows;
Riches and wealth She wants for All;
She is a Buffett – Graham She is;
She is knowledge – value investor She is.
