Empty shells I find on the beach
can be looked at in two ways.
In one aspect, they are seeds of death -
the only tangible remains of once-living creatures
now planted randomly in the sand,
but also it can be said that
rootless - they still blossom beneath the sun
with their beautiful spiraled patterns
as flowers from the sea.

I am a glass,
important in your life;
I hold selected drinks
to quench your thirst.
At your side-
in both good times and strife-
upon your list of needs,
I am the first.
But also,
I can be your measurement;
one day, a month,
a year or many years.
Interpretation of which
is oft bent
to whether
I hold joyous smiles or tears.
You see, I can be looked at
in two ways-
just one becomes the answer
to the test.
Half empty or half full-
I hold your days.
It's up to you to know
which choice is best.

Higher force
Life is a force
From this forces
Comes every energy
We ever needed
It is natural
We can't live with out
This force
So at least am sure
Of my existence
Cos if am to exist
With this forces
Existing in life
Then am a force
From an
Higher force
Higher force
How can I be a force
From an higher force
Remains a question
I answered through nature
Cos my existence is not sudden
My mortal being is a representation
Of life
Cos the forces of life lives in me
If I exist in life
Then surely my existence is from a
Higher force
Higher force
The common two forces
Of life are always described
Always in two ways
The good the bad forces
Positive and negative forces
What if if all this forces
Is from a force
What will that force be
So I understand why in
Life
The origin of my existence
Comes only but from the
Higher force

Global girth seems to gain all the time,
Giants garnering world's every dime,
The rich grab all the pie--
Why the poor poorer die
In the world, piling wealth's when no crime.
Fine, lemon you find sweet is sweat lime,
Nor crime-- your thoughts of ‘I’,
Go savour your sweet pie,
Pay heed not to puncture poor man's rhyme,
Listen to their sighs to spare a dime.

The fight against inequality is not only making little progress but is losing ground. The rich one per cent is slated to control more than half of global wealth by 2016, says an Oxfam report. World’s 80 wealthiest pockets (85 in 2014) own $ 1.9 trillion, the same quantum shared by 3.5 billion poor. The poor are hurt in two ways: They get a smaller share of the economic pie, and due to extreme inequality, there is lesser pie to share. Every year the elite at Davos talk of good intentions and the poor in hope listen. The global elite gloss it over all the time.

Darling a darling his darling to be
One day one day maybe I shall see
The moment a spread of a joyous event
A darling his darling the darling well spent
Nightly and by day a blessing awaits
The darling a darling a sweet precious babe
One day one day maybe they shall see
The message of love expressed in two ways
Darlings they are the ones whose strength leads the strays
Remembering the pressures of persevering through
One day one day maybe this dream may come true at last
For me for he for them I wish to see
Crafting those darlings in thoughts that I hold to grasp
Hoping to stay hopeful through faith in my mind
Shining a silver lining to design his kind
A darling my darling whose darling am I?
To be taken through the endless tunnel of loves space and time
One day one day maybe they shall see
The building of his love for me

I am stuck here
find myself in vortices
that tear in two ways
left
right
torn asunder
Flooded feelings
but I miss you
I miss you
does that mean I am back?
Let me be me
don't pull on me
or push
Let me sit
upright
or squat
or everything in between
without questioning
Don't make me
spiral out of myself
lose control
be pushed under
to never emerge
Don't stick needles in me
or pins
or feed me vials of poison
I didn't ask for
If you can do that
then consider me back

What is life really about, if anything
Arising from the laws of physic curse
Life is either a meaningless accident sling
0perating in a creating universe
Or great plan experiment rehearse
Life suggests that its future is not known
Life is the embodiment of self·ish·ness
'Cause it is for itself in two ways shown
For its own survival, none·the·less
For its own reproduction express
Life is as yet too unstable pur·vey·or
Undeveloped for it to be the doom
Life’s but a walking shadow, a poor player
That struts and frets its hour upon life bloom
And is heard no more once deep in earth's tomb
In it will gather the dead life seeds
But if life is just a journey to the tomb
It will spread in infinite space needs
For the next big universal boom
And sprout from another ce·les·tial womb

When Will My Last Father's Day Be?
The biggest thing that I did dread
Was hearing my Father ad Son were dead
And no longer to be in my life anymore
Never having known why God did this for.
My Father's Day was destroyed in two ways
Both my Father and Son Jamie who I praise
I am now so sad while being spell-bound
They now longer exist and are not around.
On Father's Day thankfully I still am alive
Over the many years managed to survive
Up to now and starting out in a nursery
In two months will celebrate 50th anniversary.
Thank God my beautiful wife is with me still
Am not alone and my whole life she does fill
So this poem to her thought I should send
Take us to heaven when we reach our end.

no one saw her invisible pain
wrapped in her mysterious smile,
no one listened to her silence
in the crowd with deaf ears,
no one cared about her story
that she whispered,
no one imagined her drowning
in the tides of depression,
though she died struggling in
deep sea waters, but she suffered
in life even before she drowned,
now she no more holds sorrows
inside her broken heart,
she walks freely in the invisible
world as all her sufferings settled
underneath the deep sea, leaving a mystery.

# I put the two pictures together, at the beginning I wrote about the last picture 'she was drowning but nobody saw her struggle'. I used drowning in two ways...drowning in depression and actually drowning in the sea and then I concluded with the second picture 'being invisible'....in the invisible world after death.

I don't believe
That's right I don't
I don't because I don't see
I don't because I don't hear
I don't because I can't command
I don't because anything I do don't matter
Because there is a God
And He controls everything
From everything I say and do
From everything I eat and think
Just because I don't hear Him
See Him, speak to Him
Doesn't mean He doesn't exist
Oh yeah I doubt Him alright
I doubt at His goodness
I doubt at His intention
I doubt at anything He said and done
But still I believe
Still that I believe that He cares for me
That He does things for my good
I believe He will jump and rescue me if I am in peril
So what don't I believe?
I don't believe in double sighted
That you can see it in two ways
Either good or bad
That you can't be neither
I don't believe in losing control
That you control your destiny
But when it comes to God
You have no control
Well relinquish your control
You can't have it anyway
He got it and He 'd better have it
There is no telling what I would do with it
Lol
Hooray the Keeper is in control
I would have no doubt
Should I have no doubt?
Not
But I believe

I hate that I love being in love.
I hope I win the lottery.
I love giving people money so I know
that every dollar I give for someone to live
will cause change in two ways.
I am so tired all the time because I feel like
I've been alive for so long.
Resistance is not a peripheral opponent.
It is self generated and self perpetuated.
It is the enemy within.
I no longer want to hold anything back.
I am afraid of dying only because
I haven't said everything I want say.
My brain never shuts up. I don't know
whether to gag it or give it a microphone.
I hope I have days where my inner peace
is so strong someone else can grab a
piece and borrow some.
Love is the secret you can't wait to tell everyone.

Status of Super Clematis
So what is the status of my super Clematis?
We hope our Hollyhocks are glad to see us
And what if flowers became a beautiful Rose?
With energy earnestly grows and grows.
Many nice words are said about my Mum
And Lilacs we always enjoy having some
Also Tulips that to us turn up in twins
Greeted by Gladiolas having great grins.
We became overcome by blooming dogwood
Who many wild storms they have withstood
And how we love each huge live oak
Beneath it is bullfrog beginning to croak.
Our singing song birds each of us impress
And we must confess glad that God did bless
All of us with doe and deer year after year
Blessed me too with WIFE that I love so dear.
James Thomas Horn, Retired Veteran
PS. Mum can be interpretated in two ways.
Changes are thanks to Terry Copper's great
ability to analyze poems and make suggestions.
He is absolutely right. I must appear like I am
talking to you the reader. Jim Horn

Well, it's Freddy time again.
Went to the diner one day,
To buzz around diner tables
And he somehow flew into
a bowl of soup,
This is what the waiter said;
This poor fly, he is drowning,
A Ministroni death, it's awful,
don't you see? The poor fly
has ingested too much soup,
His last day on earth,
this ought to be!!
At the same time, Mr. Soup-eater,
Dropped his bowl in shock...
Got soup all over his lap,
Even burnt his poor old ____
Goes to show you in two ways,
Soup in one's fly can ruin your day!!
