Partakes in, not he, this perverse
An unnatural abhorrence
For the true, the good, the grandly fair.
Feigns, from this time's place absence!
When telomeres tangle and instructions engrave
They bare new faces and a precious look to save
The seeds we've sown have bloomed, they whisper deep
And find the blessed way to get your love for them to seep
I look to my creators, searching for steady, calloused hands
Though it is time to bear my fruit and search for fertile lands
Now we glance down at my stomach, those walls of steel
For our sweet beginning progeny, we can only feel
You lend me cells, I'll string them together grandly
Give me love and chivalry, I'll gift you a family
What a fearful aspect in your eyes:
liquid, dark, fierce and deep;
two orbs rimmed with copper and gold,
and I wonder what awesome council you keep.
What is behind that thousand mile stare?
You look like a poet composing a line
or an orator pausing to grandly declaim
something profound for the ill of our time;
or a brave soldier standing guard,
outstaring the sun on Hadrian's wall;
or a handsome lover seeking to hold
a smitten maiden in a smouldering thrall.
Your glaring face fills my mind with wonder.
What are you thinking, hawk?
Hunger.

The meteorologist gestures grandly at his map~
meanwhile, my knees whisper
clandestine truths
in Morse code crackles.
The barometer lies, but my hips remember
every coming storm
with impeccable timing,
like a retired sea captain
who still smells salt in the wind.
Seventy years, and the best forecast comes
from vertebrae chiming like wind chimes
in November.
The Master Cylinder spoke,
a most intriguing kind of bloke.
His knowledge, grandly poured,
his oratory fairly soared -
but in the land of Felix the Cat,
very soon, it was found that
he was dumb as a board.
Grandly nature
So great world cosmos
Who naturalized it?
clouds pass grandly as they come
she holds them tender but firm,
cotton candy syllables
fuse to words, worth weight in gold -
saturate and impregnate -
then wrung out with the purpose
of stirred ink legends foretold

Sitting by a fire on a winter night –
longing to see daylight –
shivering, freezing, in the icy cold –
how long can my patience hold?
“We’ll be all fine,” Father had assured –
just days before his absence we endured.
Mother had consoled me through rivers of tears –
hours before we’d face our fears –
Cruel murderers, they blasted the streets –
riding grandly on their war tank fleets –
people dropping still by the second –
but I didn’t budge, even as Death beckoned.
Captivity chained me, dragged me along –
tell me, killers, what was my wrong?
Is it that I live in the land that you hate?
Why, why is this my fate?
Sitting by a raging fire on a chilly night –
wondering how long I’ll face this plight –
will this dark dusk ever cease?
Will I, someday, witness dawn and peace?
The glory of vanity
This Saturday started well
I did my exercise, two toasts and coffee
Going to a café for lunch, elegantly driving
There, this, for winter- mild day
As I entered a person rushed in front of me
Opened the door wide, I thanked him grandly
But I felt old, is this the way people see me
At home when not compared to someone youthful
I dance in the living room and feel
Glorious, but outside, my feet are reluctant to
Lift from the ground
I wish people would see me then and not the doddering old fool
Mulled Cider Memories
Santa Claus sees what we
are doing.
We rejoice in grandly...
snow-shoeing.
And, oh we do love our hot,
mulled cider.
Especially next to a warm, cozy,
fire!
Christmas tunes joyfully fill many
a home.
Friends an relatives here, who do
Love us ..and do not roam.
We love each other for who we, as
individuals, truly are.
Freedom lovers, we, one and all,who
sing beneath silver, Christmas stars.
Speaking our truths, behind wreathed
ribboned, decorated doors
Bright eyes that sparkle, arms that hold.
True love carved, in poetic, holiday gold.

An Alliterative Pursuit Of A Lover
I will firstly frankly forwardly forthrightly fastidiously befriend you.
Then I will completely correctly courteously candidly chastely court you.
Then whencesoever I have wonderfully wackily warmly wooingly won wed you,
I’ll be free to laughingly longingly lustily lecherously lasciviously licentiously lengthily ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly ~ly
Gladly gently graciously gratefully gallantly grandly greatly love you forever.
February 8 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Leviticus 22-23
Key Verse – Leviticus 22:32 Neither shall ye profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am the LORD which hallow you.
PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO HALLOWS US
Praise be to God for hallowing us from:
Blemishes of sinfulness
Blindness of selfishness
Brokenness of shame
Barrenness of suffering
Bruises of sarcasm
Beliefs of skepticism
Binding of sorrow
Leviticus 23:13 Praise be to the Lord Who provides
for our sweet-savoured offerings unto Him so:
Generously bountiful with bonuses
Graciously blessed against blight
Grandly beauteous by His bestowment
Greatly beneficial toward life-building
Gladly branded as best
Leviticus 23:40 Praise be to the Saviour Who wants us
to rejoice before Him since we are:
Adopted as His own children
Accepted in His sanctified congregation
Approved for His service-consecration
Allowed in His ministerial cooperation
Assured of His heavenly calling. Amen!

The world of magic Lego land
Grows grandly by a little hand,
Mastered by a curious mind -
Where wondrous fantasies unwind.
As pure imagination flies,
Colourful shapes of different size
Awaken playful ties that bind -
Where childhood and fun align.
The world of magic Lego land,
Built to transition and expand
The childish dreams far and beyond -
The mysteries of Lego bond…

Proud shoes of Muslims from a hajj!
Their owners 'Alhaji' emerge!
Sandals which kissed Jerusalem:
A true Christian's, grandly solemn!
A devout man's made pilgrrimage
A boost gives his Holy image:
It's a picture hard to damage,
Even if he were a savage...
For the chance to access Heaven
One's pilgrimage up to seven.
Christians meet Pharisees' Leaven
And for themselves judge The Raven...
Still, the sad part of the Prized Badge:
Recipients' hearts vainly enlarge;
In their dreams "Please, one more prized badge",
One's rooms are tight, no longer large.
Sandals of pilgrims to Mecca
A passport-to-Heaven maker.
You've not seen Mecca- A faker:
In Islam Lowest price taker.
A mode of transportation
By which low class pair
Does feel so raised in status
Reserved to deem it
For queeny Love, fit!
Waist coated, by one handled
Grandly debonair.
Open carriaged, a route a-float!
As smooth, sweet praise-strewed
Lily-avenued!
