Premium Member Haven

By Poet.... "Haven hide me safe and sound. Far away from this cruel world. Give me peace of mind and body."

The story of my haven,
as I ran from the huge raven.
Was I living in a cave-in?
Life's pictures have been hung with a cloth pin.
The huge raven represents life,
the cave-in represents midlife.
Where did life go?
Time had no flow,
no more glow.
All the time I was low,
I just wanted to live and to grow.
Hiding in my safe haven covered with snow,
I now watch TV and a new game show.

Premium Member The Glow Of Lyrics Trimeric

Encapsulated inside lyrics that glow,
fire this hot will never be assuaged.
Love insists on the beat of drums
backed up by solid electric guitar.

Fire this hot will never be assuaged,
turned on and turned up to purple
every speaker sticks to your blood.

Love insists on the beat of drums
to drown what sits inside so thick.
Once its held can it ever truly fade?

Backed up by solid electric guitar,
our story shines for a crowd to feel.
In the burning ballad hides its soul.

Premium Member Triumphant Glow - CM

Grace divine makes me triumphantly glow
Race in life I can win midst trials' blow
Freed from fear of insecurity's blight
Creed with good deed radiates faith's delight.

Heart thanks God for blessed victorious gain
Part in sharing love, joy and peace will reign
Hope prevails while compassion works with zest
Scope yon sharing reaches all to be blest.

I don't lie

I'm often misunderstood, never taken seriously

Mocked and shunned for having a different opinion

People don't seem to notice how I look at the world differently

Push and shove me, it hurts so bad feels like I could be dyin'

But I speak truthfully

They don't like it

Choose to ignore it simply

They throw such a big fit

They can't accept my glow

Makes them want to rip their shirts

I say what's true

If people can't accept it, that's blue

Small glow

The sunset lingered ever bright
Secrets carried by the sky
Trees listening no regret
Night arrived soft and slow
A new day dawning
Ready to glow

Premium Member DEEP SNOW CANDLE'S GLOW

I love snow storms when they make their rounds,
The winds they whistle as the snow twirls around.

A bite on my cheeks from my frozen tears,
The numbness in my toes, it's frostbite I fear.

The air is so crisp it smells so clean,
The path I followed from the moon it gleams.

I can see my little candle burning up ahead,
It's warming the window above my bed.

I'm so cold I can't wait to get home,
Warm up by the fireplace made of stone.

Drink my hot cocoa then lull off to sleep,
By morning I'm certain the snow will be deep.

YOUR SAFE HORIZON

There’s a blinding light that shines from the sun,
While the moon’s faint glow is veiled, one by one.
Through the years we’ve faced, both heavy and long,
On distant roads, we stayed strong.

You stood with me through life’s every tide,
Through crashing waves, you stayed by my side.
You never let go when trials began,
Still holding the thread with a steady hand.

You’re free to be who you are,
No need to prove, no reaching too far.
I’ll take you as you are, in the colors you wear,
I’ll kiss you and say, “I love you, I swear.”

I’ll always give you space to grow,
And hold out my hand when your spirits are low.
I’m ready to be the one you can lean on,
Your shelter, your strength—your forever home.

Giving Our Skin a Chance to Glow

The list of Special Gifts I have been given,
Would not be complete,
Without the addition of my skin.

Our skin was not designed to be hidden,
From Daylight,
Or Moonlight and Starlight,
It even looks to glow under Torchlight,
Looks good on stage under the Limelight,
Though it is under Candlelight,
Where it gives the Most Heavenly Glow,
Especially at a Table for Two,
After which comes a Special Show.

The truely magic thing about this thing,
We call Skin,
For all our lives to Live In,
With the Power to Heal Itself,
That we long to Share with Others Like Ourself,
Who will Treasure it ,
Respect It,
Never Bruise It,
Is the way that it Glows,
For Those It Knows,
Have been Gifted with a Gentle Touch,
That will Stay as SUCH.
