Disregarded foolish notions

Predetermined prostitution
Selling out to make it big
Gendered, soulless horrification
Getting greedy to feed the pig

Horrifying landscape changes
Maintenance of status quo
Antagonistic soul estranges
Burning embers afterglow

Disregarded foolish notions
Swept along by blood and greed
Fanciful and dark devotions
Haunt me now until I'm freed

Set my soul for resurrection
Save me from these dire straits
Bounded by a predilection
Tumultuation this creates

Take me now into the darkness
Hold me down until I scream
Fascination with the harkness
Close my eyes until I dream

Disregarded foolish notions
Swept along by blood and greed
Fanciful and dark devotions
Haunt me now until I'm freed

Take me now from this indulgence
Take me to the doors of death
Feed me to the sweet effulgence
As I take my final breath

Gendered

It starts in the little things,
A man's suit,
A floral dress,
Pretty pink bows,
And ties to impress.

Segregated lines,
To stand in before class,
Rough and sporty,
Or hands delicate glass.

Boys made for fawning over,
And chopping wood,
Business owner,
Bread winner,
With wives in the kitchen;
Ladies 'man',
Children 'can',
Can't, have,
Ideas or Plans,
Dress your boys for their jobs,
Players, soulless husband,
A mother robs,
Her son of free will,
He's made for work,
Not for frills.

A daughter weeps,
For hair cut short,
Father's word seeps,
Deep and curt,
"How would prince charming,
Climb Rapunzel's hair,
If for when he reached,
It was no longer there?"

Baby dolls,
Plastic toy kitchen,
Dainty soles,
Needles stitching.

Future mommy, don't you worry,
Mother raised you well,
When your tears start to swell,
Wipe them astray,
for when night dawns,
She prays,
All her hopes and dreams away.

Many have little faith and are part of a great heresy
what our Lord calls abominations they support with a full heart
Lawless behaviour has become the new normal everyday
it is hard to fathom the dept of this corruption displayed
only a handful will stand up for the truth to be told right
History is filled with similar stories told by saints and the Bible
the serpent is working on a cunning plan to restructure the family
sinful logic has no place in addressing God's art of creation
a mother is gendered when her womb becomes the cradle of life
Our worse sin is we have destroyed and betrayed ourselves
working within this darkness silently they pretend to serve the Light

Premium MemberWomb Wondering Why

We whimsically wondered why
wandered victims by
and through our uniquely human history
of sexual trauma
and therapeutic politics

Mythically hinting
hunting
poly-resonant
mono-vulnerable
half full, half empty
gendered pantheology

Spanning spies discovering economic magic
denies political monoculturing tragic
outcomes for godlike monolithic
monotheistic empire-building

Wherein straight white males
disproportionatly championed
a revengeful
and punishing MonoPolistic Judge
polarizing One-1 omnipotent God

While unstraight
unwhite
unmasculine
marginalized
enslaved
and colonized

Would restore Mother Eartha's original
nurturing conservational economy

Nutritional ecosystemic politics
for wellness-natured spirits

Advocating sexual polytheistic immanence
imploring sacred not yet empty
circling recycling interdependence
inspiraling half-full health
pregnant with potential
sacred safety
half-empty zero-0 wombed
regeneratively polytheistic.

When archeologists dig up the bones,
it's not likely that any of them moans,
"Forgive me if I have you mis-gendered."
Apple trees are by their fruit remembered.

Life Lessons

Life, they say; is the best teacher,
For real; it's lessons sank a lot deeper,
Nothing else could give what life had to offer,
I came, I saw, and I also conquered....

Would it be right for life to have given me artificial?
Would it be fair if I say life's a bit partial?
I wouldn't say life was putting me on trial,
For it has been so harsh, treating me with so much denial...

Some say last born of the family, are well taken care of!
I wonder what went wrong in my case thereof;
It still bothers me how I offended my dearly beloved,
Because it seemed I never existed and they were better of...

I was born into a family of nine,
Having eight siblings; of which seven gendered feminine,
Yet, I lived as if Nigeria was experiencing a serious famine,
For years, I had no savings to call mine...

Premium MemberThe Body Recognized

The Body Recognized

in brief..
we misidentify our bodies
by forms assumed over
our years..

experience reports the
images by which we
have contained and weighed
and gendered the body
for so long..

now we must ponder that
our time-space body
as it walks and talks
is quite narrowing of a
new dimensionless
recognition..
in brief...

Trasvestite Mind

 Transvestite Minds.
What do you think?
With thoughts on the brink,
Of right and wrong.
Actions that betray words,
Words are never enough,
A thousand pages blackened,
Still conveys no though.
What do you believe?
With your two-faced conscience,
Fake and unfaithful,
Godless to a fault.
You only spit, when you talk,
Destroy, when you move,
And sin, when you believe.
What do you believe?
With a trans gendered soul,
Brother of Satin?
Or is it Child of hope?
In a world ruled by such,
You are only one, my friend.
Of the million transvestite minds.

One’s Androgynous Shadow
                       by Odin Roark

If only…

If only we thought more kindly,
Allowed the warrior to be daring,
The maternal to appear diffident,
The endowed virtue as oneness.

For where is it said
That man is only this,
Woman only that?

Did Nature evolve gendered life for separation,
Or as a collective to function in harmony?

To be physically male or female
Conflicts not DNA’s sensitive norms,
For to know oneself is to understand biological reality,
Its reward often kept in shadows of self-acknowledgement enjoyed,
Yet seldom shared.

Perhaps one day,
More than a few of us
Will come of age,
Rise above limiting mirrors,
Embrace innate honesty,
And reveal the essence of a sword’s artistry
Is but to defend life’s nurturing instinct.

To discover such definition,
The dignity and solemn truth of one’s androgynous shadow,
Is to set free the all-loving child held captive within,
To finally realize what it is to mature.

If only.

Miss Odd Genie

There is a person named Ann Drogeny.
Who tried to create their own progeny*.
When things were pursued.
They really got screwed.
And it all wound up just misogyny**.

* Progeny is children/offspring.

** Misogyny is the hatred of women. Nothing personal girls. It rhymed. You know me. :) Peace. :)

This concludes your vocabulary lesson for the day. Just wanted to save you from having to look things up. For those of you who will appreciate that. :)

They is in reference to how some people consider themselves bi gendered and use the pronoun's them, they.

Like You

like two car hubcaps shinin' 'n' moonin'
like helixed necks of neckin' swans swoonin'
like a quiet tide-pool tranquilly poolin'
like Gouramis kissin' each other schoolin'

like two teenagers in a car backseat
young gendered duet, together complete
saunter hand-in-hand down some Paris street
or cornered in a cafe, quietly discreet

like as in liking, love as in smitten
like lips pressed together, gently are bitten
like wantin' what's wanton, 'n' get in to gettin'
like love sonnet rhymes, charmingly written

like you and me and the world at our feet
if we were two too, together, a love seat
gazing dreamily into each other's mystique
impatiently craving that enticing physique

like you like me, like I like you too
as lovely, as ardent, our passionate roux
like words softly clicking, tongued in anew
to say with eyes gazing, knowing, I love you
