Life Lessons
Life, they say; is the best teacher,
For real; it's lessons sank a lot deeper,
Nothing else could give what life had to offer,
I came, I saw, and I also conquered....
Would it be right for life to have given me artificial?
Would it be fair if I say life's a bit partial?
I wouldn't say life was putting me on trial,
For it has been so harsh, treating me with so much denial...
Some say last born of the family,are well taken care of!
I wonder what went wrong in my case thereof;
It still bothers me how I offended my dearly beloved,
Because it seemed I never existed and they were better of...
I was born into a family of nine,
Having eight siblings; of which seven gendered feminine,
Yet, I lived as if Nigeria was experiencing a serious famine,
For years, I had no savings to call mine...
