Miss Odd Genie

There is a person named Ann Drogeny.
Who tried to create their own progeny*.
When things were pursued.
They really got screwed.
And it all wound up just misogyny**.

* Progeny is children/offspring.

** Misogyny is the hatred of women. Nothing personal girls. It rhymed. You know me. :) Peace. :)

This concludes your vocabulary lesson for the day. Just wanted to save you from having to look things up. For those of you who will appreciate that. :)

They is in reference to how some people consider themselves bi gendered and use the pronoun's them, they.

the Ann Drogeny thing was SO clever. I really loved how you played off that word andogyny and how the second line played into that as well. Just wasn't crazy for the ending, or this would have placed in top three!! congrats. I enjoyed this.

Thanks Andrea. Rhyming with odgeny isn't easy. Hence the ending. :) I wasn't crazy about it either. Please don't take it as a personal sense of mine. I only dislike women a little bit. :)

This is really a very clever piece. It may be over a lot of people's heads and some may have to read it two or more times before they understand the content of this write.
