I learned to live unkissed, until
You inked my lips with scarlet bliss,
a taste of temptation spelling destiny's will,
blood drip quill tip piercing heart's prolonged pulses,
love spirit speaks seven syllabes of ritual thrill,
Mind as mouth breathes life's matrix,
I take the threat of your love
under the tongue of my boyish truth,
yet I know I can be the lover of your resolve
wrapping your bloom around my soul face proof,
I serve you delight of desire that only I can solve,
your body beckons as as beauty wet smooth,
We are a universe uncursed by chaos,
your scent a supernova of love star bleed,
pouring ache into me like rose fire unlost
You are my olio of aficionado love cross plead,
crucify me on the front page of poetry, bold ghost,
enrapture my heart with conquest creed,
The mercy of my mouth you will need...
I trusted you with my heart
You let me down
Yet you try to convince me
that you deserve another chance
~ have you had a change of heart?

Life’s a gamble
This, the preamble:
Who won’t explore
~ his soul, he ignores
There is a town that is so enchanting,
at it’s center a strip of wild saloons.
A hidden game’s still in play enticing
gentlemen with a lust for golden spoons.
While holding a Joker’s hand start betting
you may get lucky and find the tycoons.
Are you breezy enough to shoot a shot?
Life is a gamble here, like it or not.
No room for mistakes
A heart transplant, nuclear test
Take it or take out.
Life is a gamble
And we are all bettors
But whatever is the game we play
We must not bet what we can't afford to lose
We must not bit more than what we can chew
We must not eat more than what we can swallow
We must not run a race that we can't finish
Storms we face must not be the reasons to quit
For everywhere, there are mountains and plains
And rivers and seas in between
Through waves and rapids we must cross
Refusing to dare have more to lose
While we are young, we must dare
While our souls still have flair
Or, soon on our death bed
We may be drowning in sea of regret
*Inspired by my long time journey to recover from gambling addiction and the chances I lost. But I did learn some of my greatest life lessons.*
Love is a gamble only a few win
Do not gamble your time away
with the indecisiveness you play.
The heavier resolve you pray,
the longer will it take to pay.
Don't just waste your time today.
You have to move and chase your prey.
You may be worried about delays,
but beyond that, you will be okay.
Listen to what time conveys.
See what it wants to portray.
You are with time along the way.
Respond to what it hopes to say.
Uncertainty may come into play,
But never run, be bold -don't sway.
Embrace a heart that won't betray
between precious moments and what may.
When choices dance in shades of gray,
Of which nostalgia begged you to stay.
Summon courage, free from dismay,
to the unknown, forbids no foray.
Whatever beast may come your way,
Just do not gamble your time away.

They say you got to play to win
And that is true
But you got to play to lose too
Love is a gambler’s game
Either way it goes,
You’ll never be the same
I gambled half my pot
And sent out my greatest ship
But unlike what I thought,
Cards of hearts were never flipped
Soon I’m down to metal
But I'll win it just you wait!
I'll get a fortune settle
Maybe she’s just late…
I gambled with nothing left
But gave up my addiction
I found my heart in debt
Afar from my prediction
What a hunch!
‘Love can double money’
Now I’ve loved too much…?
Now isn’t that just funny!
"Hit me!" it's blackjack all day long
In a dingy zoo type sing-a-long
and since you can never eat just one
It seems those chips have all but gone!
Bluffing there like a daft giraffe
Just because you stuck your neck out
Still showed your true spots, no doubt
So switch it up to Texas holdem
get the laundry done and fold em'!
Or all in now and say you told em'
If you win don't brag too hard
Don't shove it in their face card
Or from this game you might be barred
And then I guess all you can do
Is sing in your cage until game two
In your pen or where chips are piled
I'd say in both cases, deuces are wild...
He felt so cocksure
his Midas Touch was proctor.
Vegas pulled him down.
Now his Midas touch is brown.
His failure was a shocker.
