Beaming eyeballs,
   and orbs,
       from first blush,
     offspring frolicsome,
   as they dot,
geosmin odoured pavement,
       whilst shrieking impishly,
        with infectious,
          cuddly cheep,
     parents shepherd,
     yet they exude,
      at bounce captured,
   cordial conducive,
    in electrifying,
         picturesque swathe,
    orange-scorched oriole,
     with coal-black plume,
       on urban shade tree,
townscape as hub,
      endowed cosmopolitan,
   brimful brio, ginger, dash,
     kundalini wakened,
 as sultry vault,
        vigilant ambience,
             ample alignment to,
           ice tea mint gust,
     aroma mediating,
        splash of amber sun wash,
         neath navy welkins,
       that taunt and sketch,
      wooing ambit,
         extracts of,
           aroha’s
             indigo index

Premium Member The Raven Soars Above

In the majestic mist—of a mountain’s dawn;
In the gray haze of fog, soon to move along.
Below smoky drifts, canopies, and the wind.
Below, the raven’s wings, and the perch he sits.
Bird’s eye view, gazing, gawking; blithely spying.
Yearnfully, yet, no eagerness for showing.
Mellowing caws; buoyant—wake the harvest moon,
Of streams and time, do not both cascade on by?
Frolicsome and flashing; a true sight to see,
To harken the lone wolf’s motley midday howl;
With these Great Smoky Mountains now cleared away—
The raven soars above; stately valleys low.

Premium Member Snow White Impurities

the outside floated inside
white seeds seemed fluff
floating & frolicsome
until their rooted relic
of bitter dandelion wine
wished we hurried
to busy our bones
do something thoughtful.
yes..we’d pluck a stem
or two and gift
but this gift in ever after
would list and wither
so quickly amidst
the coiffer of quarrels
pushing of the dander
of matters we stuffed
our pillows with at night
nightmare of nettled
never-never disappears
snow white impurities
implicated our insides
empty and forlorn
forgetting our vows
our impertinence
of the importance
of marital bliss
which doesn’t begin
with tricks and treats
but with travails
that lead to immemorial
memories and progeny
a long lasting kiss

carry your wife
over
the threshold barrier
don’t let complacency enter
let a garden of delights
bloom within
learn from occasional weeds
pluck…let sun in…water
tender your every day kiss
invite in joy and praise

Frolicsome

Feels good to drink tea
When someone looking at you
Young and beautiful.

Indifference of the Different

A gong sounds again
Squalled with familiar war cries
Bringing me on my feet again
To pick the best tools, drop the fries
One more bite and I’m the next casualty
Picking military regalia, dress down to the task’d
My alert generals whine, pumping grit in my faculty
So I can dodge through the strictness unfrisk’d
Doing rehearsals amid fear
Just to stay put with the adversary’s whim
To never forget his tactful enticing tear
At the expense of my sympathy grim
Am not headed for perpetual fall
For I’ve made out the trickery and malice in lair
Yesterday’s battle for crown in virtuosos’ hall
Really confirmed how emeritus victory and flair
Counteth not at the status quo
And that we can change yesterday’s outcome
If only we could be termed as the trio or duo
Of our grit and purged frolicsome
Selves
And so, whether magnate in our seedy residence
Or cognate to the salient diamonds
We shun perfection decadence
To only unmask dazzling splendid diamonds!

Darkness and radiance
frolicsome purport

and access of

visible world and
inconspicuous world
heart to grace

spawn the shades of truth
redeemer

between
contest of awareness
and the depth of the ocean

concealed
beneath the shackles
of humankind

Ode To Spring

In silence , a new leaf burst from a still node.
A tender touch of new life, revives a leaveless bough .
To mist full land from the dark dawn sky ,
New warm sun rays come and hit the road.
The earth wakes up from the lazy sleep , once again,
The old and sober mistfull cold weather die,
New freshness and fickleness , flow in nature's vein,
The Mother Earth have new flawless spring to show.

With bloom's scent or with buzz of buzy bumblebees ,
With vivid verdant vicinity or with chirps of nestling,
Outside the door , with frolicsome flower's floor,
Or with the core of unripe green mango sour !
Or with fresh wandering wanton winds , the spring
Try to embellish the entire earth with an enthralling glee.

Golden Sun sets , behind the strech of green trees
Void of forlorn silence form around , there's a lack of spree.
Tearing through the silence of sad hearts , a voice rise!
To clean the tears of crying sad hearts , a voice cries !
To bid adieu to the ceasing splendid spring ,
In nightfall , for last time , the nightingale sings.

Grandfather was up to the task
As everyone took off their mask
Shouted “it’s no disgrace”
To show all of your face
And offer a toast from your flask.

And the Naysayers said “this can’t be”
I’ve had the shots – one, two and three
I think it’s a trick
As I still got sick
I should have known that nothing is free.

And the dogs who thought people so sweet
Are now huddled below and beneath
The sofa and chair
Shaking with fear
For they just found out people have teeth.

We’ve removed the masks from our face
Now we’ll carry them just like our mace
In a pocket of fear
As people draw near
Well…because….you know, ….just in case.

Premium Member Summer's Ash

As yet another summer grows old,
Jasmine senses the coming cold.
Amid the dancing autumn leaves,
In the shadows, a boy grieves!

Gold memories of the golden days,
But feeling yet the warming rays.
Splash of water, soaring kites-
Softly dream of summer's rites,

Secret, satiny, whispering wind,
The forever journey never spends.
Around the bend is summer's ghost,
A vividly arrayed, gracious host!

And I know the days were mellow,
And the starry nights were indigo,
I know the sun shone in his eyes,
He always hates the sad goodbyes!

And now in the silence complete,
Winter's waiting out on the street.
And Ashley is somewhat downcast,
To see frolicsome summer's last!

Wee birdies sing in treetop nest,
Enjoying sunbeams while so blest,
For summer is gone all too soon,
And in its place the harvest moon.

A Promise

The sun is up, another morning’s come--
The coffee’s brewed, the eggs and bacon fried,
The sky is bright, the birds are frolicsome—
On such a day, what sorrow could betide?

And yet this cheery masquerade today
Is, by my very reticence, belied,
As if I’m in some strange, absurdist play:
It all has seemed so pointless since you died.

And now I only want to grieve and hide,
Yet still, I know to do so’s a mistake—
I swore to you to go on, to abide,
And that’s a solemn promise I can’t break.

And so, my love, this further vow I’ll make:
That I’ll go on with living -- for your sake.

Untouchable

Life is a balance of holding on and letting go
Where we weighed both quality of joy and sorrow
We live, we love, we cry, we understand
Sometimes too, we ask dumbfound.
Life is a gift, that is given
Uncomparable to other essential things
The mystery of joy and the hope of love
Were once a masterpiece provided by God
But beyond these -- where mirth stops
Is the endless myth of sadness, in contrast
Came upon to justify true happiness
Achieved not in our daily frolicsome needs
Nor at every junction's beauty we perceived
But in understanding of all the things that exist
Partly, how true love is attained
Not in need of every material thing...
And partly how love is lost
Because you really choose.

the first step’s the sweetest
the ladder steady
not splintered
no thought
of the problems up at the top.

the foot is giddy
impish, tapping
with dewy-eyed toes.

under a frolicsome smile,
an ankle circles in mid-air,
daring the stare of his mother
as she cleaves to nine feet below.

The Addiction

clouds
gathered here
on the ether

rains are
getting ready
to fall down

storms are
in frolicsome mood
with dusty wind

my love
in happiest movement
of facebook gossiping

i'm and my pen
how wonderful alone
by seeing far dark-blue barking sky

words after words
monotonous to pleasant
as rosary beads showers my sight

pebbles with surfing waves
calls me with night beauty
darkish moon-lit beach writes inert life

cast away the snail
the crab crawling on sandy
entwine the whole nerve of my pen

clouds, rains, storms
envelop a letter for my love and me
“she addicted to facebook and me to poetry!”
