Premium Member Red Line

There is a red line in the sand
they stand against it, hand in hand,
both face-to-face and toe toe-to-toe;
a grain that neither will forego.
It shifts, the sand, as winds do blow
but neither side will ever show
the kings and aces in their hand
blood has less value than the land.

       When someone can forego
         her id and ego

       publishing poems of her friends
to heal those on the mend

Her name, of course, our very own
a most gracious lady ~ Karen Jones

Premium Member Love's Sweet Moment

From the pleasure of your soul, I glow
Through starlight... a kiss, my gaze can't forego
And dawn approaches upon us to bring
Soft caress of air into me shall blow
'The darkened skies stole my tears'...to you, I cling.

  Chorus:
Dearest , somehow my fervent life you hold
Breathless as my heart beguiled... takes a leap,
Then tame me now, let all demands unfold
Tame me now within an affection deep.
~
There are no longer tears, we wander sweet,
Enchanting our eve its heavenly treat--
That pulses heat when charmed laughter peals
Warmer a slow dance, my yearning complete
Tender the gaze, the kiss… our joys replete.

Premium Member Plastic Lives

It seems to me that plastic lives, are those that are portrayed,
By people whose lives are more than likely, wrongfully conveyed
Social media is good for nothing, except to zombify
People who sacrifice their lives, for the likes that they rely.

Nobody lives a perfect life, plastic lives seem wrong.
Life is far more challenging than the one each claim belong.
And the irony of those who seek, is that nobody truly cares
Each play the game, so in return, their life you’ll have to bare.

In return for all this sacrifice, to prove their life has worth,
They forego the simple pleasures of living on this Earth,
The secret is not creating, the illusion of the best
But being thankful who you are, without the need to be obsessed.

Premium Member Self Esteem

My close associates, relatives admire me as a Compassionate Righteous Persona
     spending Quality Time. -Poet

     Confidence , Competence and Intelligence
    construct and administrate my existence
Dad has embedded Morals in mind,
being my mentor, philosopher and guide.
In my soul he sowed seed of" Self-esteem "
to sprout and flourish to reach Supreme.

Throughout my journey of life I always honour
Universal Moral Values with ardent ardour.
      Being compassionate I always offer
my eager helping hand to sufferer.

My Principle of life guarded by Ego,
is the pivot of my progress : I can't forego :
Exploring life as challenge trying to be righteous :
I pay respect to my Self Esteem simultaneous.

Premium Member She and I

We two try to walk parallel,
        Our relation not marital.
        Unable to walk together
but we can't walk away either .

Don’t try to judge who is better.
as oil can't mix up with water.
        Happy ending is not certain.
This chance may or may not happen.

Truly, we may not get along.
Yet not to separate life long.
       Necessarily we feel thrill .
       No commitment but making deal.

       Facing clash at every corner
Useless to know, who is winner.
When I come, she is sure to go.
Yet my ego not to forego.

If oil goes on an explosion,
       Water controls situation.
      Yet we can't prepare 'Solution.'
      Mixing yields just an‘Emulsion.

       Our action and interaction
       always end in contradiction .
Whatever, we cannot break up !
Somehow we are bound to tie up.

Premium Member HAPPY NEW YEAR

This year is almost over,
a new one taking over. Do you have
the same New Year’s Resolution? If you keep
having the same every single year, please do not even
think about it, forego! No disappointment, no frustration.
When New Year takes over, pour out the joy within you.
Cheers and laugh to welcome the New Year and celebrate
you. Say a little prayer each day, seven days a week. Like
a simple prayer of “thank you.” Do act of kindness thirty
or thirty one days a month. Smile to someone or be kind
to yourself by remembering something stupid or good
you did or that happened in the past. Show your
love three hundred sixty five/six days a year.
Call, text or send a note saying hello or
you love them. Can you do these?
You can fake them until you
make them or try your
very best, would
you, please?

Premium Member this star

This star, Our star, is only Hallow
In the kiss that we bestow.

And this kiss, only ours to give,
Upon each brow,
For we are like a child to the Ray,
We forego eternity, our own device,
That we may better know
The Words to say.

Each kiss returned, if I were Thee.
Dust speck away, for Clarity.
Broken tools,
Such fools to use as we,
For lining halls and walls,
Of human history.

For what is Faith but empty bucket.
What is Life when some say -uck it!
What are words or thoughts or dreams
The End of which it sometimes seems,
Come useless with their
Broken Carriage Wheels
To scatter quickly in the Wind,
With Death upon their Heels.

Yet., for one requited part,
No faith supposed, nor scheme compare,
Butterflies to Galaxies, Enjoined with loving Heart,
To break the Bread of Life with Loving Air.

A verse each Heart will know quite well,
To break Morose this Poets’ Spell,
Grow every Heart so Hopeful High,
“ Tis Love upon which all Souls fly. “

She read from A to Z,
   and encountered witty magician.

       Just hypnotised by magical wonder
       also mesmerised by splendid splendour,
             common sense to forego
              and IQ turned zero.
In land of OZ she had to wander.

Premium Member Colors of Love

When the sparrow meets the long nights
webbed in the gentleness
 of every beat that marks your heart;
only then will we find a faraway world coming together
as graceful leaves mix
with the branches of our souls;
for the length of time is never kind though precious--
our testament to be one
connects us through serendipitous pulses :
We may not be together,
yet we feel the same rain ,
same tears, and language unbidden. ..
Is this what long distance love is
 made of?

We bind the folds of seasons
and still know how we live
in any moment of an eon--
a love made in a place called heaven's fate,
 staying in touch
through deep intuition and prayer -
that we forego season's ticks, sometimes...

 A hundred years may pass,
yet we know, this love infinite will bind the hues
of devotion 's thread, stronger than
the fabric of time's test.

palette of seasons
changes from neutral to bold
surpassed by love's strokes

Premium Member Poetry Soup

I've found a Haven, a hidden space to breathe
Where emotion permeates into a mistral breeze
So lofty are her cumulous clouds of inspired thoughts
Leading all who wander in to explore wondrous walks

Inside, lend an ear to whispers of notes and chords
Plunge into the caldron with the welcoming hordes
Now Chant...Bubble...Bubble...Toil...And Trouble
Stir, fold, blend, mash, whisk the undefined puddle

Then, find the round table where soup feeds solace
Let others feed you. Do not forego this key promise
Most of all, partake wholeheartedly in the collective conscious
Members, all Souls bare, will grace you in satisfying kindness

Traveller

I'm a traveller
Always on the road
With my mind far away from home
But for her, I'll be more grounded

Cause being on the road is fun at first
Till it gets lonely
And when you are up in the night skies
All you think of is what if you had the one

I'd want to land and make a nest
And stay close to guard it
Fly off from home at dawn
And be back before dusk

I'd want to have eggs by the nest
With someone to keep an eye on them
So that when the eggs hatch
They'll have someone by their side

I know I'm a traveller
And there'll always be the thirst for the skies
But with her, I'll forego the skies
Cause she'll be my universe

Random Radical Reflections

America gets fooled at the ballot box
Bucky Fuller shined a light out of duopoly’s might
Can America get unstuck, see the light ?
Do vote for what you Want, this will seal the deal
Every vote counts,if it is not same o’ same ‘ o crap
Forego anyone who supports the MIE,that’s the rap
Go for a party that can advance some utopian ideal

Help the Earth become a beautiful place to live,
Insure everyone in your ‘hood is taken care of,
Jill Stein’s manifesto -a breath of fresh air,
Know her manifesto with an open mind- if you dare,
Love everyone with a flaming heart,
Mankind is your kin for the most part.

No more thinking third parties are spoiler votes,
Only you can bring the change,
People have to stop drinking the duopoly’s cool aid,
Question everything.
Read Radical Mycology by Peter Maccoy,
Such an eye opening book you will enjoy.

Thevenusproject.com shows the future,
Utopia or Oblivion by Fuller, shows the facts of life,
Verily look at book for future direction,
Why would you want anything less than perfection?
Xenophobia in our brave new world has no part.
You can be a trail blazer-shine your light.
Zion, not Isreal, paradise on Earth will reign suprem

Premium Member To Stand Against the Crowd

An online site is, in no way, for the meek.

You must live in conformity, giving no cheek!

Worse, one must be a jolly gal. or smiling fellow.

Living in a pretentious world, all bubbly-mellow!

The masses loathe those, going their own way.

You must conform, or forego your right to play!

Writers must be individuals, and have their unique say.

To deny them this quality is indeed, a very tragic day.
