Traveller

I'm a traveller Always on the road With my mind far away from home But for her, I'll be more grounded Cause being on the road is fun at first Till it gets lonely And when you are up in the night skies All you think of is what if you had the one I'd want to land and make a nest And stay close to guard it Fly off from home at dawn And be back before dusk I'd want to have eggs by the nest With someone to keep an eye on them So that when the eggs hatch They'll have someone by their side I know I'm a traveller And there'll always be the thirst for the skies But with her, I'll forego the skies Cause she'll be my universe The PO£T
