October 6 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Matthew 13-14
Key Verse – Matthew 13:9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR ENABLING US TO HEAR HIM
Praise be to God for enabling us to hear Him:
Following Him by faith
Focusing on His faithfulness
FIeeing from fearfulness-fright
Fighting fretting and frustration-failure
Fixing upon His firm foundation with fervency
Matthew 14:14 Praise be to the Lord for
helping us, being moved with:
Governing commission
Gracious compassion
Guiding calmness
Generous care
Gripping call
Matthew 14:31 Praise be to the Saviour
for reproving us of our doubt:
Settling us upon His Scriptures
Securing us around His sovereignty
Saving our spirituality from shamefulness
Setting our shaky status by His sure standards
Satisfying our soul with His sufficiency’s solution. Amen!

The dark night did his fearfulness arouse,
While flashing-booming-crackling filled the air.
This night of trepidation fills the house;
breath shortened running fingers through his hair.
Dark fear descends the mountain with a scream,
like flames from mouths of dragons, fear burns deep.
He cannot rest, perchance he moves to dream.
There is no sanctuary within sleep.
With every fear that populates his heart,
his head is buried ‘neath the pillow soft.
The fear that stalks his soul will not depart.
“Perhaps this is the last time.” Then he coughed.
Brief reassurance panics, then soon flees.
All hopes and dreams will not his life appease.
"A coward dies a thousand times before his death, but the valiant taste of death but once. It seems to me most strange that men should fear, seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come." ? (Julius Caesar) William Shakespeare
The quiet words, the trembling lips,
we’ve heard it all before.
Keen questions dwell within our minds,
like who’s behind the door.
We saw the lights, heard voiceless words,
asked, “Is there any more?”
The speaking’s frail and actions flail,
but who’s behind the door?
The Wizard drew his curtain and
he fooled the land of Oz.
But when the curtain opened up
they saw just who he was.
He turned the wheel, he honked the horn
he put on such a show
The room was filled with smoky light
and braggadocio
As cultures clash and leaders stall,
great fearfulness prevails.
When people feel they’ve been left out,
then lo, their system fails.
All people want to feel secure.
They want their qualms allayed.
As leaders walk on shells of eggs,
the folks feel sore afraid.
We feel compelled; we have to know,
real answers, we implore.
Please tell the truth and let us know,
Who’s that behind the door?
“Your body is yours;
it is not for someone to abuse and leave you in fear.”
Quote by poet
A look of confusion and helplessness
Frenetic worry filled with fearfulness.
Terrifying mute screams echo impart,
Tears unbidden, wraith being ripped apart.
Disconcerting, hoarsely pleading to stop,
But unrestrained fleshly lust, pleas unstop.
In the dark; once again, cold patches drew
Fear of emotion penetrated through.
Clench fist and crippling affliction raged airs
Nauseate image brought vivid nightmare.
ON INTIMIDATION
Intimidation
Vexation
and violence has no place in a democratic world.
Orientation flourishes amongst ignorance and anger.
It also goes for aggression and cowardice.
Aggression doesn't last very long.
People must be free from abuse, intervention or fearfulness.
The use of threats and intimidation to force the opposite sex to submit to excessive sexual actions may be fitting under perverts, but it is never acceptable by normal people.
The common minority have endured incidents of harassment, discrimination, intimidation and violent abuses for decades, often with little hope for justice.
It angers me to see what we humans are like. Are we born to an ideology of violence and intimidation?

The man said, we are treated as children
By almost every tradition and religion
As with goblin, gargoyle, fairy stories
Socialized into fearfulness: losing memories, lives -

Jesus taught, "I have overcome!" Recall His Resurrection:
O death, where is your sting, O "sin" where is condemnation?
Whether one meditates on space, or my beloved "Sky-ness"

Forced solitude began with loneliness
Resulting in consciousness contraction
Shifting to vibrancy in aloneness
Looming spectre of death birthed fearfulness
Plunging our mind into agitation
Forced solitude began with loneliness
Survival instinct heightened awareness
Softened attention our meditation
Shifting to vibrancy in aloneness
Tranquil calm replaced erst rebelliousness
We sought solace in void of cessation
Forced solitude began with loneliness
Empathy awoke, spewing lovingness
Our heart now overflows with compassion
Shifting to vibrancy in aloneness
Recognising interconnectedness
Love, not fear, our hearts orientation
Forced solitude began with loneliness
Shifting to vibrancy in aloneness

With triumphant* spirit, we should persist
Achieving midst trials, our hearts insist
Locked down, yet not knocked out
Ascending for champ’s route
Temptation to quit and stop: we resist.
Toward victory in every hard bout
We vanquish fearfulness-doubt and pride’s pout
Seeking God’ gracious mist
On top of prayer list
Empowered with blest winning service shout.

Death
Your apparition eradicates our happiness.
You usually grip the most loved souls .
Our happiness fades within a blink of an eye.
While relatives are pounded in tears like a glinding river .
Look when it strikes in families with deficiency
And there is no one to implant.
Not knowing what to touch nor let.
It is unbearable even to utter explanations.
We are sinking for its power
Because its days are even sour
Painful choruses
Tearing apart our innocent hearts, not to say fearfulness.
Death , You demolish like a cyclone.
You let no peace .
Your apparition is vicious to our hearts .
Death , Where do you come from ? .

I hear it from across my river view-
the echoed horn of Metro-North's rail train.
At early dawn, I sit and wonder who
is going to the City to sustain
essential duties- heroes so humane-
those doctors, nurses, aides, to lend support,
along with first responders who deport
to hospitals where Covid patients bide.
There- they at risk help stay day's death report;
own fearfulness of sickness override.

Note:
Metro-North trains go through the Hudson Valley
along the Hudson River to Grand Central Station in
New York City. Because of the Coronavirus, they
run on a limited schedule for essential employees
who work and are needed in the Metropolitan area.
Soul-freedom*
joyous, peace-filled
ministering, sharing, leading
liberty, growth; deprivation, fearfulness
doubting, blaming, self-pitying
restless, broken-hearted
Guilt-imprisonment.

A shadow covers her face, eyes tired with sorrow.
Lost beyond space, longing for tomorrow.
A broken heart, and a shattered mind.
Where to start, what’s to find?
A promise of hope, rings echoing for ages.
His yearning to elope, through tears he wages.
Her fingers clasp his, and a desire remains.
A plan as is, though it still pains.
A beloved friend in need, a voice to be heard.
A faith planted seed, holding to the word.
An apologetic reply, he feels a need to die.
He broke a promise, he broke a soul.
With another kiss, he tries to remain whole.
She is determined and true, a beauty I adore.
As she says, “I love you”, he’s left wanting more.
Memories of cheerfulness, and passions of youth.
A future of fearfulness, searching for truth.
He watches the night sky, hoping she is too.
A solemn goodbye, “For I’ve always loved you.”
The future is a wonder, though they blissfully wait.
Love strikes like thunder, a most welcomed fate.
Stars dance and play, the world left in awe.
As he looks to her and says,
“I gcónaí, mo ghrá”
Fearfulness falls in heavy drops
On one who wonders
About the tomorrow that was once a ten,
And now is only a five.
Life unwinds like a slowing watch
Sowing deeds good and bad behind,
‘Til a wall of impenetrable fog remains
For etching by the finger of forever.
Fearfulness falls in heavy drops
On one who wonders about tomorrow.
I had a dream I was in a shallow water breaking the chain around me.
The water from above was drifting like tears in my eyes.
It drifts heavily with thunder,
and fear I felt as I am chilling inside.
I want to shout like a baby bird in the nest,
looking for mommy to warm my fearful heart.
How will I get out from this sullen place,
It's like bounding me to die with fright on my face.
I cried for help as my whole body was tied and shaking,
No one hears me... because no one was there...
My fearfulness had shaken me,
from my head down to the soles of my feet.
I am helpless, hopeless and scared, binding me to die ahead.
That moment, I felt my eyes were closing,
even my tears are heavily pouring.
But suddenly, a prayer appeared in my mind.
And I realized my heart was unchained,
I started to pray I believe in God repeatedly.
Until the chain was broken, and my soul had freed....
The loud rumbling, crashing sounds of thunder
woke me and I nestled into his breast.
A feeling of fearfulness creeps over,
as the flash of lighting hinders my rest.
Rising, he moves toward the closed window,
shutting the drapes. Blocking out the striking
flash, I hid my head under the pillow,
away from the sounds that are frightening.
He gently caressed me with reverence
and a gentle kiss, calming the storm of fear.
I looked up into his eyes in silence,
"I don't like being scared" and cuddled near.
The storm is over, calmness has set in,
and darkness no longer lingers deep within.

I Will Help You
For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. (Isaiah 41:13)
