Love Spell

Pleasure enflame through my entire being
This man, entices my lips to breathe,
Every moment we are touching.
His spell, his gaze, “they have enraptured me.”
And all I want is to give him a never ending kiss
For I have never experienced real love like this
Plus whenever he looks into my brown eyes
I always feel like I’m sitting on top of the skies

He's glued to my mind
And I crave him all the time
This man constantly put a smile on my face
And makes my heart beat fast
Like I’m running a race
I’m convinced that he had cast
A strong love spell on me
For I’m not the way I used to be
However; I love the new me now
Though he may have cast a spell on me somehow.

But by grace do I shadow your form
from each darkened night to bright-lit morn.
You're silvery-white in my life's storm
hosting shivery thoughts yet unborn.

Would that my pen divine such meaning,
enflame fiery feelings unbidden
that stun me dumb at their convening.
My emotions revealed, unhidden.

Yet my disguise is opaque it seems.
You cross a transcendental realm –
unspoken vesper in sacral dreams
that never attains its lofty helm.

Someday, I know you will understand
my passionate affection for you -
How my heart bleeds with tender demand,
unformed entanglement to pursue!

My ink is flowing hoping to charm,
My poem an aphrodisiac.
Unwritten rhymes planning to disarm
and attract you to my love lilac.

Though you're beyond my bewitching reach,
I devote this unsung ode to us.
My dear, with unsaid words I beseech -
Let's join our hearts without further fuss.

A POET'S CRUSH - collaboration with Linda Alice Fowler

But by grace do I shadow your form

She was called the Lyin’ Tamer.
Absurdity would enflame her.
	She could spot a line
	way back from foot nine.
She’d decline and who could blame her?

There once was a young man named Lane
who literally was insane
	he wrote a billet-doux

not knowing it meant to enflame!

Premium MemberA Friend

Moisture found a passage way into my eyes,
And engendered tear drops when from a web site
Called 'Classmates' came a greeting from a fellow high
School student who became the wife of a treasured friend.

She greeted me with the words, "I hope you are blessed".
My reply to her was, "Indeed, I am blessed". Notwithstanding,
While reflecting upon the life of my early demising friend,
The age-old question of 'why the good die young' surfaced
Once more from the pages of my musing mind.

We often think that there will be lots of questions posed
To the Lord when we all get to heaven. However, I also think
That on other occasions, beholding The Master's face will
Quickly erase or remove every question. Moreover, the former
Things that we found memorable on earth will fade, and the
'All things made new' will enflame our every existence. But until
Then, I will treasure the memory of my awesome friend Charles.

Premium MemberFalse Apologies Are Insulting

When I have wronged someone in word or deed
and know that I should make amends, I heed
my OWN advice: Don’t wait. Apologize.
I know, “I’m sorry--BUT . . .” is never wise!
That small word turns apologies to lies,
for then will likely come words that enflame,
implying that the other one's to blame
for my wrongs. Did that person hurt me too?
Perhaps "I'm also sorry" will ensue.

Enflame

Answer with passion,
  or don’t answer at all

Cauterizing my questions

Milo

Their one lone cow has broken down the fence;
we see her trundling down the dusty lane.
Milo's mind remembers 'bout the milking.

Dad's face, a fiery-red, storms from the shed
where feisty kittens spat and sparred o'er cream.

Milo's feet meander back to the scene
as words of fire enflame dad's bulging neck.
"You'll wear the shoes that spooked the cow!" he roars.

So Milo moseys off to dad's bidding.
The cream a'squish-squish-squishes from the seams
of shoes like steam escaping old train wrecks.

Milo mumbles, "Guess I'd best be moving
along that dusty road to bring back Cow,"
with no concern for who will mend the fence.

Supervention-Impunity Falls To I

Unleash your reign to only I, truth be wary of accost,
Many tyrants ripple kindly, though chilled I enflame the frost,
High Thronehood, I shatter thou, endorse the Chain of fallen veins,
Gentle godhood now to falter, weep not for me, but for my blood,
O’ wisdom boldly ravished he, he whom justice shambled there,
Hostile military, flee! Humble thee within his snare,
Lastly, thou contract my heart, though my throne remains unloved,
As impunity falls to I, all souls blacken, now enclosed,

Jurisdiction of our thoughts, unattended is my Wrath,
Greatest knowledge of all men, leaveth such within my mind,
Shower nothing but sore shame, for all life is now left parched,
Prophecies of holocaust riseth strong with vengeful blood.

Premium MemberBreath of Love

Inhale deeply my breath of love.
Hold it; try not to let it go.
Let it course through you like soul-fire.
Let it enflame you like desire.
Let it enfold you like a glove.

Exhale, and breathe me in again.
Hold me; try not to let me go.
Pull me closer, still closer in;
Until you feel me ‘neath your skin.
Inhale my breath of love again.

The Game We Play Is Love

This game we play is love,
Each move a ploy,
To tangle and ensnare,
The mirror in the air.
Who we want,
Is the one we aren’t,
Knowing no shame,
We call the other name,
Flowers and pretty things,
Magic words to enflame,
Hearts to trust,
To beat as one and lust,
To forget how woeful,
It is to be lonely,
Only the deception,
Seen in the eyes at the reception,
Reveal the folly of it all,
For this too will fall,
The obvious traps of math,
When sharing a path.
For two is one,
When having fun,
But an infinite mess
When the stars shine less.
Though merry it seems,
It never redeems,
The pathology of life,
Whose only remedy is death.

Passion Fruit

Hidden treasure waiting
Vibrant pink
Juices on my lips, nose, check
Nibble, inhale
Suck, swallow, savor
Enfold, engulf, enflame
A taste
A scent
A smile of sated satisfaction.
Forbidden fruit
So called
Because the danger of one taste
One touch
Grounds but gives us wings
A sense of times long past
In recessed rooms of teenage dreams of
What could be.
Could never be
No never
Not for me.

Show Me

A bright light engulfs the room
and suddenly disappears
ushering a blazing essence
that abruptly evolves in the atmosphere,
buttons unlatched
zippers break loose
shirts collapses over skirts
flesh dancing in flesh
flesh devouring flesh
and impatient breath
whispering soft words in her ears.
Electrified
mesmerized
enraptured
emotions bathing in emotion
exotic moment intoxicated with fear.
listen carefully and tell me what you hear?
sounds thundering beyond steep mountains
doors hammering speechless voices
debris flying high in the air,
but they lie there firing on without fear.
Lights grow dim
and a mysterious sound chime in.
Pum Pum Pum
It must be the voice of an angel
walking up and down his gigantic chest,
kindling a soft fire that rips aimlessly through their ears.
It captivates their emotion
and enflame their burning passion.
dancing and prancing
skipping and dipping
sliding and gliding
they went to the extreme.
Eyes fixed in a steadfast motion
calculating the mysterious sound
chest pressing against chest
chest pounding upon chest
spilling tears of joy all over her face.
