A Friend

Moisture found a passage way into my eyes, And engendered tear drops when from a web site Called 'Classmates' came a greeting from a fellow high School student who became the wife of a treasured friend. She greeted me with the words, "I hope you are blessed". My reply to her was, "Indeed, I am blessed". Notwithstanding, While reflecting upon the life of my early demising friend, The age-old question of 'why the good die young' surfaced Once more from the pages of my musing mind. We often think that there will be lots of questions posed To the Lord when we all get to heaven. However, I also think That on other occasions, beholding The Master's face will Quickly erase or remove every question. Moreover, the former Things that we found memorable on earth will fade, and the 'All things made new' will enflame our every existence. But until Then, I will treasure the memory of my awesome friend Charles. 041522PS
