SOCIAL MEDIA
I don’t know much about social media
I need help from an encyclopaedia
Social media has its place
I would rather talk face to face
Although, I do like texting and emailing too
They are the easiest things to do
But, you can’t get a hug via text or email
You could try but you would fail
You could even write a letter
But, hugging in person is so much better
Go out and hug someone right now
I hope you haven’t forgotten how
If you go on social media, please be kind
That is the best way I think you’ll find
Social media does have its uses
Please don’t use it for your abuses
I don’t want to hear your excuses
If you use social media, use it for good
Treat people the way you know you should
Everyone just wants to be understood
People are not made of wood.
I
Since Martin Luther
It's rather simple
Only One Savior
Not Mother, Angel,
W. Branham or Joanna Southcott!
Sins antidote: Jesus's Blood
II
Born in 1750, Southcott
At 64 claimed pregnancy
With Messiah "Shiloh"
This "Panacea" christianity
Led to her death: delusion
Even claiming 144,000 only
Was the number to be saved
From Earth? Heresy is recycled, sadly!
But not plastic & polluting rubbish
Especially in my South Africa
NOTE: since Luther, a simple equation can help Christians, fur Jesus needs help from NO M/OTHER, angel, or false Messiahs (some 40 in Jewish Encyclopaedia):
Jesus + 0 = Salvation
Note 2: if your "Jesus" needs help from any other force, that Jesus is not God, so worship that superior force, & God is merciful (if/when we truly don't know better). Shalom shalom Blessings
I am the silent witness that looks down from on high,
The silent witness who inhales carbon through cleansing veins,
The silent witness that exhales oxygen to give you air,
The lifeline for humanity
I am the silent sufferer of turmoil from the abyss to my roots,
Who breathes the torment of the culling of my brothers and sisters,
Where the haunting silent echoes fall on selective hearing,
The fragility of my realm,
Destruction by humanity
I am the seasonal encyclopaedia that holds the truth of what has passed,
I hold the truth of our histories within the depths of my trunk,
Certified by the dark circles etched within my core
I am the silent sage who has witnessed your ancestors,
And the silence of their reverence as their spirits brush past my leaves,
My silent testimony is cradled in the soft winds of the Groves,
Between us we whisper and “Tell it like it is”
But not in the tongue of humanity
Yet, though I whisper,
no human asks for pure testimony,
Shhh! But if you listen – “I will tell you like it is”
But you must open your ears and listen, please listen…..

IF EVER I HAD A COUNTRY : XXXVII - XXXVIII
XXXVII
If ever I had a country
And if ever by some magic I were the Minister of Housing Development
I'd make it my life-long mission by swearing upon it as a Holy Sacrement
To rush to the rescue of every poor defenceless and distraught old tenant
At the mercy of villainous old women pests who run or administer housing tenements
With beaks claws sharp canines of vultures hyenas who suck vampirically emoluments
That is, if ever I were by some magic the Minister of Housing Development
And even if I never ever had in Gaie Paree no country
XXXVIII
If ever I had a country
And if ever by some magic I were the Housing Development Secretary
I'd ordain ripped from every thesaurus encyclopaedia and dictionary
Words which denote or connote that special breed of vilely hissing spying bodies
Concierge Housekeeper Portero Janitor and all such idiotic parasitic discrepancies
And free the sleepless care-worn tenement city populations from these harpies
That is, if ever by some magic I were the Housing Development Secretary
And even if in Gaie Paree I never ever had no country

It was indeed orchestrated by providence,
for two hypnotized by love on social media.
It was indeed the innovation of the times
that united two once unbeknownst to each other.
Separated by tongue, culture, values and distance.
A French kiss across the Niger, strengthened further
by an age of digital encyclopaedia.
Behold, love is in the air as the church bell chimes
for two reaping from the gains of a smaller globe,
set to find themselves inextricably in a robe.
Lovers set to make a vow with a covenant kiss,
guaranteed to grant them both a wedlock of bliss.
Tese and Rosemary in their world of ambience.

While excavating information
One website lead to another
And Whoa! I found Poetry Soup
Curiosity led me to register my name
I sent my first shweet verse for a competition
I sent some more for further competitions
A fortnight later I received congratulatory notes
For my placement in the competition
It created a world where I could be identified
Tears rolled down at the recognition by poetry lovers
Living across this huge globe but brought together
By a website of soupers sipping every soup
While connoisseurs evaluate their taste
More congratulatory notes over the next four months
It taught me the value and worth of each souper
We read different hearts and souls
At times unknowingly in a desire for friendship
Some get irked some misunderstand whereas
Some simply love and admire the emotions
Of people living in different continents and
Give their advice, mentor them, correct their flaws and
Continue being their silent guiding light
Filaments of nature and attitudes to life
Become the encyclopaedias of the world in Poetry Soup

A Vice You Love
Barely quarter of a year ago
While surfing the net I came across
Poetry Soup, and it has changed my life
Wings of miles away from its headquarters
When I wake I sip it with my bed tea
Before retiring I take it as my sleeping pill
It rolls on my lashes when I sleep
It has become my sweet addiction
Daily it engineers my itinerary of platonic travel
At every step the routes are charted out
An encyclopaedia into quilling emotions
It lights my thoughts into a thousand volts

Into the depths of depression I sank,
To the dark bottom of that bottomless pit,
In which problems abound and worries are heightened
Funny enough, this pit though not physical
Tells on my physical
'Tseems the force of gravity is increased upon me
My gait is slow
An my countenance an encyclopaedia of melancholy
Lost in my thoughts
And rolled deep in them
Suddenly an interrupting chirp assails my ears
Up I gaze into the skies
And then I beheld the solution to my problem -
Freedom like that of a bird
Out of that fateful encounter
Was born my desire
To untether myself from earth
And truly roam free,
Out of that fateful encounter
Was born my desire
To enter that void
In which my thoughts shall be annihilated
And the slate of mind shall be wiped clean
And made lighter than a feather,
And then shall I truly be free,
Free from earth and all its attendant worries
Even though wings I do not possess,
Wings I shall fashion for myself
Wings not as fallible like those of Icarus
I'd fashion myself more resilient wings
With which I shall liberate myself from earth
Then shall I soar free as I can ever be

Man , I miss that young Lad
Kids today seem to live life through the entertainment media
There like a human encyclopaedia
Of this weeks fad's and how to be bad
Spend entire days on Play Station
MP3 , MTV Rap, What is this crap
Pants that don't fit and hats back to front
Boy am I glad , These things I never had
For when I was young I put to good use my imagination
By spending entire days in the park
Wrote my name its in bark
And played ball with my dad
Boy what fun I had
Man , I miss that young Lad
Tell me, not to break the rules
The things I'm not supposed to do
The words I'm not supposed to say
The dreams I'm forbidden to dream
The scream's I'm dumb to scream
The tears I'm heartless to cry
The life that this is hard to die
The world that I live in today
Is it really round or is a flat world
I've got wings, a pair of them
I can't fly though
I don’t have wings when I'm dreaming
But I fly like and eagle somewhere,
May be the sky
I may not be a great man
But I to have a dream
A dream
Now I'm in an ocean
I'm in full state of my mind
I know that I can't swim
But something inside me tells me
You shouldn’t even if you knew how to
There's something running against my feet
A fish of some type I guess
I don’t know what species that is
I even doubt the species that we are
In fact I completely forgot who I am
I look up in the encyclopaedia
It read '*****sapiens sapiens'
What does that mean to me now?
A tide blew me into the sand
And away from the encyclopaedic research of mine
