Man , I Miss That Young Lad

Man , I miss that young Lad

Kids today seem to live life through the entertainment media
There like a human encyclopaedia
Of this weeks fad's and how to be bad
Spend entire days on Play Station
MP3 , MTV Rap, What is this crap
Pants that don't fit and hats back to front
Boy am I glad , These things I never had
For when I was young I put to good use my imagination
By spending entire days in the park
Wrote my name its in bark
And played ball with my dad
Boy what fun I had
Man , I miss that young Lad

Yes Chris the world has changed since those pleasant days of a park stroll .. having four sons myself I have been through it all with them and their fads, games, fashions, hats, and everything else and they are now all in their 20's and have their own styles... its not like back in the day .. but your poem will be for every day and every one who remembers how it used to be.. a nicer time.. enjoyed my friend.. with luv..
