Deviance Poems | Examples

Paradise Lost

Apology
not good enough
Intention
still to blame
The road to hell
left burning red
its deviance
in flames

Excuses
rolling off the tongue
with lie
compounding lie
A higher power
judgment bound
the devil
— in denial

"We appreciate the popular democratic intention,"
began the Drag Queen Ball proclamation,
'Equity for All'

We would even more appreciate
a more specific lack of pretention:
'Equity for All Victims'
of Straight
White
Patriarchal Privileged
Trauma.

The masculine hotness we admire,
and gladly serve,
is a renewed ecofeminist face
to replace past Patriarchal
Capitalist
unfortunate RightWing embrace.

Ecocide,
like Transgender Matricide,
devolves from Patriarchal-Capitalist
self-fulfilling dark prophecies
win/lose zero-sum survivalist economies
fueled by hellish
anthro-privileged
dis-rapturous
anti-health for all
anti-living Earth becoming All
monotheistically desperate
demonic despair

Of a Straight White FatherGod
incapable of ecocidal repair
while continuing to invest
in punishing deviance
from Straight White Male
cosmic monotheistic glare.

Carnal Flame

I oft wonder about thee
the flame that once shone bright
into mine life

Have thou been extinguished
by all the lies
spread by deviance for all to behold

Or have thy flourished
using deceit and manipulation
to fuel forward

Nary a thought
as to the carnage you leave behind
in the hearts of others

Tis I ponder

12 Flags

12 pillars.
2 fates
1 decision

Exempted actions, by masking the past with elegant words, preplanned manned with extraordinary deviance. But I’m the only immortal that has to deal with previous:

“issues”
of
“issues” caused by the other fate. The worst fate? The right? This is where the road forks. Do you risk it? Is it worth it? What merit has been given to be given a chance.

But that’s the answer: chance.

Do you chance it on fate? Or hate the outcome after the decision.

Premonitions leading to self doubt and questioning.

Deducing outcomes

But there’s only one… right?

12 flags, all red and white.

Surrendering up old habits or signs of repetition?

The colors are mixed well.

In completion

Completing what exactly?

Cancerous capitalism
predative patriarchalism,
insists on runaway win/lose competitions
against EarthMother's resilient health
and matriarchally resonant wealth

To fearlessly look
into mirrored medicine cabinets
noticing untherapeutic time's inevitable one way
passive to active direction,

******** of lines written
and rewritten
into this moment
of waving wonder
how resiliently limned health
reflects awesome nutritional resonance
of discontinuous assymetricl deviance
cognitive dissonance
waving
weaving toward affective rooted absence
of anticipated confluence,

Like bumps
lumps
wrinkles
mountains and valleys
of emergent theologically grand minds
in aging
ancient ecologically small organic bodies

Imagining climate pathological end
of healthy living green/blue Earth
predicted in commencement of cancerous capitalism
written in lines of greedy eyes
and needy ears
for egocentric masculine opportunity,
predative perpetuity.

So many seek you by the light of the dawn only to lose you through the haze of dusk
You are mysterious at times a silent secret in the navel of mans thoughts, a deviance
a variate inside the doors of the conscience far remote when peppered with denial
you want to be sought after like love agape,
so many seek you by the light of the dawn, only to lose you to the heady scent of musk
you are like a fine cut diamond in the raw, if I press you to a mirror you break the image
you save, you redeem, you make deer sleep, you see a sinner and turn him into snow
Palpable like the studded stars of heaven every filament of your grace, is a hot burner
You show up at the most inconvenient times and sometimes the most timely ones too
So many seek you by the light of the dawn but you being truth, always come as you are,
clear faced and bold, you hold your own
So many seek you by the light of the dawn only to lose you through the haze of dusk
you are mysterious, at times a silent secret in the navel of a womans thoughts , deviant.

Reasons

Reasons

Somestimes we think,
Sometimes we drink!
Sometimes our mind,
Is lost in liquor or wine!
The trouble between both black and white,
Is that each see their view as right!
Let's work together for a single master,
Instead of fighting, which ends in disaster!
We could try annihilation of others,
But I ask you, who would go first!
With so much deviance in our behaviour,
The human race is quickly becoming a disgrace!
With more and more conflict, prejudice, and discrimination,
What is becoming of our so-called wonderful nation!
It is not too late for us to live in assimilation,
But the longer it is put off, this leads to disorganized nations!
All of us have God-give rights,
Why can't we live together, peacefully & quiet!
Let's all work together and end this vicious cycle,
Let's stop xenophobia, before it destroys us!!!

Greeting

Most animals, wild or mild,
And birds, too, tend to
Recognize you
After a few encounters.
The dog is an excellent example.
It gets chummy
Invariably after a first meeting.
Even an ‘unreclaimed’ cat,
Suspicious by nature,
May try to be friendly with you,
Unless otherwise you are positively hostile.

But some animals, fortunately very few,
Show no signs of recognition whatever.
The donkey is an egregious example.
Will not care to greet anyone,
Not even its master,
Though it has lived with him for life.
Not so much as a look,
No sign or gesture—of familiarity.

Some humans behave so,
Like total strangers,
Even though greeting happens to be
A key communicative function—
In a civilized society.

Could you explain the deviance?

***

Disjoined

When
Will we accept our idealist indirection?
Deviated by selfish deviance;
byproducts of our own deceits.

Hope
Remains in anonyms who grasp moralizing concepts.
Courage must manifest promised tangibility.

Despair
Cripples forces of hope;
Sprinkling dreary forecasts, only to be left in doubt.

Questionable answers are found, such as...
Why do we be what we are?

From Rob Brezsny, except my own bracketed commentary, Pronoia, p. 274:

I say that the Creator includes death as an essential part of evolution's master plan.
Lifetime after lifetime,
our immortal[ly shared DNA/RNA solidarity] souls take on a series of temporary forms
as we help unfold,
in our own small ways,
the inconceivably complex plot
of the divine [regenerating positively deviant v. negatively deviant] drama.
Each time we die,
it's hard and sad to our time-bound [tragically doomed reductive] egos.
But from the perspective of the part of us that has always been
and will always be [We],
it's simply part of the epic adventure
[divine pronoia comedy].

The abolition of [either self or other-selves] suffering
is a worthy goal [of positive bothMe-andWe deviance].

Meditation's Interlude

My fantasy was trespass--
into territory of another's head
but of dubious gain, the honor
pure and academic, wisdom's hideaway
to be disclosed and nude of dress
for no man's deviance is his alone.

It is enough to glister there--
cold tremors, fluffy heavens
reflect empty rewards, and reaching forth
produces little assurance just how much
two souls may share, or when
we even think alike.

Reward enough, for if we do
approach such frightening phenomena
there's little left to do but sigh,
burrowing deep in our blanket rolls,
and settle in, maintain the watch
and know we shall not see the end,
nor ever entertain the luxury
of understanding why.

Symphony of a Battered Woman

His cold hand graced the softness of my battered skin. He was a dead man but he walked in front of my eyes. His patterns of repetitive punches flew and sorrow filled screams coming from my heart never stopped him from rotting away. He continued to be dead but I saw him well alive, as I thought the law would never capture his deviance and pull him to the morgue.

Insights

It was less savory.
The tibia breaks and you
enter into unbuttoned dress.

        *

The deviance was abusive.
I cannot accept the celebration
of skin, unwrapping small Buddhas.

        *

When the fear recedes, I will
move around the words?
to seek the meaning.

Double Deviance

The sullen face that seeks not to be approved or answerable.

An eternal question mark, fragile emotion, to nurture, be fair,
These things are expected yet there is no pretence to care,
a role, an act, a cross to bear.

She took the hand of a child with gentle grace
coupled with evil etched upon a feminine face.

The icy vicious plans of each criminal man..
became far worse in female hands.

no judge, jury and reporter to vilify -
sufficiently to fit the public outcry.

Presumption is all that we have now,
to label, shun and still question 'How?'
To hide and distrust what we see,
for evil women only exist on tv!

Just a hardened deliberation
before eternal damnation
when this person of the 'fairer' sex will be..
deemed too 'male' for society.
