Who ever invented French Kissing?
Certainly, it’s nothing to be missing!
Open mouth – let alone
Other mouth – duplicate clone!
Two open-mouths lock so close
Lip-to-lip and beak-to-beak like two crows!
One tongue encircles the other
Round and slow, hearts churn butter!
Wet and slithering saliva swap
Heaping exchanges in drooling glops!
Taste the gallons or taste the drops
As heart beats race and minds all flop!
No…No…Whether gallons or droplets of drips
I’m certainly NOT missing saliva sips!
The pecking quick peck
Of a Woodpecker’s peck
I’m certain won’t make me gag nor sick!
Keep it clean…Keep it gentle
The Woodpecker’s peck is more sentimental.
Like two young “kinders” on Valentine’s Day
When simple cards are handed away
And both are bashful and way too shy
Mustering every courage to bypass both their “Shutterflies”
And the card is quickly handed with a quick closed-peck
One-second peck causes no harm, no foul, or even wreck!
Cute and quick
is the Woodpecker’s Peck
Such sensational expression of innocence exchanged between two

"What I have Learned about Broken Promises is Priceless." By Poet
As a young child,
friends would make a promise.
They would break their word,
followed by hurt.
The dating world was famous for this trick,
as boys loved to break their promise.
Did it make them feel powerful?
Maybe!
My dad was a very wise person,
he never made many promises.
Guess he knew the pain hiding behind words,
words that were unkept are friends with lies.
He would say,
we will see or maybe.
I knew if he had made me a promise,
it was guaranteed to be done.
So glad this lesson was learned as a child,
thanks dad.
(a dating tale - told in Senryus)
She stayed the night, but
left before having coffee
- that was a bad sign.
He was charming but
negligible - an easy
habit to give up.
He watched her typing
bubble appear and vanish
there was his answer
His date-dar was bad,
she’d left-swiped him in real life,
ghosted like Banquo
.
.
A song for this:
Waiting for Kenny by a Sécurité
.
.
Banquo = One of Shakespeare's many ghosts.
Clones
Bitesize, right height, weighing a hundred pounds.
Fit and fair with long beautiful hair and curvaceous mounds
Someone different, someone unique demanded every profile.
The geeks and the noobs were left out cause they had a different style
A world of clones spread across , as far as the eye could see
What we are and what we pretend couldnt any farther apart be.

I’m gonna be happy tonight,
I’m Gonna shine up my sneakers,
Gonna do them up just right,
I’m gonna take in all the sights.
I’m gonna put on my best t-shirt,
The one with Jimi on the front,
I am gonna not worry about the dirt
On my car, cause I am doin’ what I want.
My girl and I are goin’ out and have fun,
Just to find what is out there all right,
We’re not comin’ back until the first sun,
Cause we’re gonna be happy tonight.
We’ll find us some good drink and food,
We’ll find a place to look up at the moon,
Then will find a place to put us in the mood,
Then we’ll dance and sing to a funky tune.
Oh, we’re gonna be very happy tonight.

A meaningful discussion on our very first date
art, literature, music, fine wine
O, it was most definitely first-rate!!
Though he didn’t kiss me goodnight
I don’t see it as ironic
Seeing as how our relationship’s
‘strictly platonic’
You have your own apartment? So far, good.
You also own a yacht? That’s so much better!
No children and no ‘ex’s – understood?
Just follow my requirements to the letter.
You’re free of all encumbrances, like pets:
you mentioned stocks and shares in that last note:
this match-up looks as good as first-love gets:
so send a recent photo – of the boat.
Born in a time all are at their most divided,
A young lady eventually for herself decided
To live life pursuing all religions which guided
All humans in ways in which Truth resided.
She found love first in one who is farsighted,
Yet he is shortsighted due to a strict religion.
He held a distance, so this love had ended,
He was also too lenient about his every sin.
She then went with one who is so atheistic,
Yet he often took what she did for granted.
She found his attitude became so apathetic,
So she left what once made her enchanted.
She finally found one who truly understands
What the cycles of eternity truly mean.
They see how in all lives, they held hands,
"He's just right," as he crowns her his queen.
Please don't take offense when we don't pay you any mind
Not all the time are we expecting to be wined and dined
Yes we are aware that we look good and very proud of ourselves
We don't always need attention and compliments from someone else
You say to us "ladies first" but it seems to be the new pick up line
It's either that, an angel fell from heaven or wanting to know our sign
How do you know we're not a woman scorned from past pain
Maybe we're not sure you're a dead beat looking for material gain
Most of the time you're not looking for any serious commitments
A one night stand is the reason you're requesting our seven digits
We know these things about you and refused to be played a fool
Yes we vary in size and shapes but it doesn't make us useless tools
Don't get me wrong we could all use a gentleman or a Mr. Right
But, Dear Men, you're not always a necessity to our lives
beware
blonde hair
forget
brunette
red head
instead
Here we go again,
Give it another shot.
Let's get to know each other
Is she real or is she not?
Take the mask off,
Expose your true self,
But not all the way,
Wall off for mental health.
Here we go again,
Hoping it isn't fake.
Am I a fool, just a tool,
With pie thrown in my face?
She knows what she's doing,
But I have to figure it out.
It's my mind that she's screwing,
I just can't keep her out.
She seems so perfect,
Pure beauty the clout.
So worth it,
A gentle soul within, without.
A delicate dance, a subtle sway,
Expectations woven, in a societal way.
A woman waits, with passive gaze,
For a man to lead, with financial ways.
He pays the bill, the ring, the wedding fee,
The provider role, a lifelong decree.
She expects support, for herself and her kin,
A one-way street, where love may give in.
But some women defy, these norms so grand,
Contributing equally, hand in hand.
A true test of love, a gesture so fine,
When she invests, with a loving design.
Yet, in the courts, a different tale unfolds,
Assets divided, with a legal hold.
A woman shaped, by societal might,
To contribute little, in the dark of night.
A partner, not a burden, we must seek,
Emotionally and financially, a bond unique.
Let's break the mold, and redefine love's role,
A mutual journey, with a balanced soul.
I'd been sleeping poorly what with my agonies
needed an early morning nap but
at a ratatatat on the front door I jerked awake and
obediently open up, a respectable couple not
this time trying to get me to switch my energy supplier or
join the young communists but
'We're from The Sun'
asking me if I had any thoughts on the 'Love Island House'
Excuse me what
She mentioned a house number and I blearily
glanced across the road at
the house recently painted in blue and pink
mumbling, I really don't care about it
'Could we use your name'
but I'm not deranged enough to give them that, and
It turns out it wasn't the house opposite but further along
beyond my eyeline,
I'd seen it tarted up with lights
seems it's been called out by a disgruntled neighbour
"The house is lit up like a building from Las Vegas"
and The Sun was frothing at the thought
of a Love Island related story and bothered me
Lee Holloway Towers in his fretful slumbers
Not my problem baby and
I will never sleep again
We’re not dating—
but you heart-react to my stories like it’s a full-time job,
send a “you up?” at 12:47 a.m.
then disappear like my willpower at a shoe sale.
You say you don’t do drama—
but you’ve got more red flags
than a Formula 1 race
and the emotional depth of a spoon.
You post gym selfies with deep quotes
like “loyalty is everything”
but couldn’t commit to a dinner reservation
without texting your group chat first.
I bring the vibe.
The sauce.
The playlist.
You bring… vibes?
Just vibes?
Sir, where’s the effort?
Modern dating is just
flirting, ghosting, and guessing
if “lol” means “I’m into you”
or “I’m emotionally unavailable but cute.”
We’re not dating—
but I still debated if I should shave for this maybe-hangout.
We’re not serious—
but your ex still watches my Insta like it’s Netflix.
You want wifey energy
on a side-chick schedule.
Nah. I’m not a limited-time offer.
This ain’t Costco.
Come with consistency,
or go play tag with someone else’s energy.
I’m too cute to be confused.
