Bloggers PhotoMy Pseudonym is Emotional Poet because that's when I catch my inspiration. I've been writing since I was sixteen and was raised without my father around. That trama was the first experience that inspired me to start writing. Every since then, I've always viewed writing as therapeutic. It started to feel as though it was a healthy outlet. Frustration, pain, confusion, empathy or being misjudged has been spelled out for me on paper for some years now. Observations, experiences, trama and healing with a culmination of being able to feel the pain of others is what inspires my work. I'm 180 something poems in and continue to write with the thought of being published one day. Most of us catch our talent in the mist of pain and I have to say, that's how I discovered my gift. I've been unboxing it every since. I take to platforms such as these because although I'm very happy with my pieces, I enjoy feedback from others rather negative or positive. It's like seeing my garden through the rose colored glasses of someone else. (Poems that are recited are the ones I created from my own inspiration and poems that are not were created for contest entries)
