Cries Poems

7-9-2025

Brilliant it blossoms,
Struggle and cry out for help.
Shattered,
But alive.

Willingness forgotten,
Try to huddle as would a whelp.
I'm not flattered,
But I survived.

Killing season,
More losses,
Mother may not recognise my yelp.
Not everyone has heard,
Feels like everyone scattered,
I conceded to the night cries.

When my little poem is sad, she cries.
It happens when people tell lies
about this, about that
and never really get at
the meaning of her sends,
her forwards,
or replies.

Premium MemberCries of Our Lives

Whispering sweet desires in tearing
giggling, we forget of we're laughing
tummy sweet button does taste so yummy,
How do these moments lead right up to now?

Tasting your lips, something ever lasting,
treats of your seduction to say the least,
fingers wander to love songs from singers
blasts from window won't shiver how heat lasts,

Lust come from sweetness and not the

she cries in the heat
of this longest summer day
no rain to hide tears

summer rain is slow
clouds drift in like a whisper ~
a promise broken
and grief like a coming storm
with thunder the rain is here

The Atom Cries in Silence

Beneath the crust of Saturn's breath,
Where silence swells and swallows death,
A single proton-left alone-
Whispers truths to shards of bone.

They built a star inside a cage,
Lit it young, then cursed with age,
It pulsed in hearts, then burned them black,
And begged the cosmos: “Take it back.”

A child once dreamt of breaking light,
Of feeding dark with pure insight,
But

A child cries in a mirror

A child's joy was taken at gunpoint
in a long, dark tunnel on a winter night~
as clouds drifted, whispering subconscious fears,
stirred by music played by demons,
loosed like wildfire in a room of mirrors.

A bird chirps~
as if begging the clouds not to crash on the earth...
the weight of iniquities, loosened by fire,
now too overwhelming for the sky

Premium MemberMy Pen Is Weeping Blood

My pen is mourning the agonies and the sufferings
Of my people, who are drowning in the sea of misery.
My keyboard' strokes are shadowing the slow rhythms
Of the wandering beggar, who's lost in the sanctuary.

My voice denounces the filthy cholera and the injustices,
Which are punishing the weakest souls of the valley.
A tiny oligarchy is meagerly being

Waste of the Day

Sam Mud
Mafia dawg
Prairie Rebel hound Soggy dog Carter
Crumpled can of
Faces on a map
A map with lonely corners bent and creased
Roaring fish at opening
No more bedspins
Not even a bed
while living to belong
Follow the fortunes to the sun
West Coast pacific
Island up Busters
Dump scenes from Cotton Creek
I watch with painted eyes and a helpful smile
A burning

"Raise the Shields"
(Dr. Spence Linking Pin Sonnet for Child Abuse Prevention Month)

Cries pierce the silence where trust should have grown,
Grown are the shadows where safety's unknown,
Unknown are the wounds that no eye can see,
See how the soul screams while lips whisper "free."

Free them from hands that betray every vow,
Vow to stand firm and protect them

Premium MemberThe Lonesome Whippoorwill Cries Out To His Long Lost Love

In the darkness of the night,
with the beautiful stars above.
There's a lonesome Whippoorwill.
Calling out for his Dear love.

Crooning songs he sadly sings.
Wishing she comes back to him.

Memories of her by his side.
Pained his heart way deep inside.

Each night he wonders why?
She doesn't answer or replies!

Minutes turned into hours,
there's no response!
"Oh please

Disappearing cries

My mind is so dense and thick,
Just like the fog on winter morning.
I shout for help,
I scream for life,
But it all disappear just like the echoes and fog.

A Little Girl's Cries

As night falls and justice sleeps,
This is when a little girl weeps.
Her story buried out of shame,
While violence spreads like a deadly flame.

Wolves bind that innocent with rope,
Stripping her dignity, tearing her hope.
News headlines scream, but hearts stay cold,
This cycle of fear, bitter and bold.

Will we turn away or find a way,
Watching her innocence harshly

The Air Filled With Cries

The air filled with cries,
As people see, humanity dies.
Gaza bleeds and screams,
While the rest of the world dreams.

Seeing their condition; eyes filled with tears,
But they refused to give what's theirs.
For the only one they fear is God,
Giving them hope that His help is near.

Little children die of hunger,
Telling the world their faith is stronger.
Hungry children

Deafening
   rapid fire blasts
Shatter
   the transluscent margins of
Silence
   with
Harrowed cries
   gasped

Howls
echo from one side to the other
Of the heart’s vast arena
   with a repeating chorus
    of ruing
Pleas

Of the gone lost
Groaning for home
