Best Cries Poems
fat girl cries
big fat tears
splash
crash
down her chubby cheeks
down her pillar like neck
which was once
much like a swan
now gone
fat girl sighs
big fat sigh...
a heart groan of a sigh
from the empty place inside
where beauty's not allowed to reside
fat girl sleeps
a big fat sleep
time obliterated
memories conjugated
into happy streams
peaches and cream
all over her dreams
everything perfect...it seems
fat girl awakes
a big fat awakening...
life must go on
she lumbers to the mirror
stares at her big fat figure
rolls here and there
and though she acts
acts like they're not there
she's not allowed to forget
she's not there....
not yet
she exercises
torturous kilometers by
holding on to handles
beginning the treadmill
to help her say goodbye
to the fat girl
who is pretty on the inside
but unseen
unseen
people are so mean
she medicates
they fabricate
rules...
she must subjugate
the need
to drown her sorrows
to eat it all away
why is she alive
alive another day?
fat girl cries
bit fat tears
her big fat fears
grow though she shrinks
kilograms slip away
will it ever be OK?
will they love her for her mind?
will they ever be kind?
to the little girl inside
who tries to hide
fat girl cries
will you dry her eyes?

Once more you appear, crossing my threshold
after breaking the lock to memory's door.
Your illusion enters without bothering to knock,
stepping into my room as a wavering shadow.
You breach the barrier of cries and goodbyes,
escaping from the grave where lost love slept.
I wept long ago and swore an oath to my heart,
never would I allow you in, as a lover or friend.
Tell me, against your invasion, how do I defend?
How can I restrain you from entering my thoughts,
and if I knew, would you still haunt my dreams?
Through eyes blurred by streams of warm tears,
would you leer as a voyeur, lurking at my window?
Why do you channel the deep furrows of my soul,
gazing at me with mournful eyes blackened by kohl?
I've given up pretending that you're not here.
Here, in the chamber where we were never apart.
Please leave me in peace if you once held me dear.
On velvet nights when the moon is fully ripened,
I'm still drawn to you like the magnetism of her pull.
I tremble each time my lips whisper your name.
With each intrusion, I am powerless to defend myself,
for my heart wears no armor, my door has no sentry.
Vulnerable mortals such as I, must bear this burden
when a wraith from an erstwhile love desires entry

In the darkness of the night,
with the beautiful stars above.
There's a lonesome Whippoorwill.
Calling out for his Dear love.
Crooning songs he sadly sings.
Wishing she comes back to him.
Memories of her by his side.
Pained his heart way deep inside.
Each night he wonders why?
She doesn't answer or replies!
Minutes turned into hours,
there's no response!
"Oh please Dear Love answer
me, just once!"
"Oh, where my Darling are you
tonight? I've been searching for
you day and night!"
His little heart can't take much
more! It is she who he adores.
Evenings drag on as he still
waits. Time will tell his coming
fate.
He called out one last time.
His last thoughts were of her,
on his mind.
While he looked for her. He did
not know. His precious love,
another Whippoorwill stole. His
precious love, another Whippoorwill
stole.
Sadly on that tragic day, from a
broken heart he passed away..
From a broken heart he passed
away.
There's a little nest that is tucked
away. Where his heartache ended,
and now he lays.
Later on his love returned. Saw
him laying still, and began to mourn!
Her cries were heard throughout
the night and in her grieving heart
he now resides.
Each day and night she sang to him,
and hoped to God, He was listening.
In the darkness of the night, she
breathed out one last sigh, and
forever closed her eyes.
She found herself on Angels wings,
and heard calls for her, singing.
She quickly flew to him in Love, to
start their new beginning.
If you listen closely and the night is still.
Up in the Heavens you can still hear,
the loving calls, of two Whippoorwills.

A Single Soul Cries Out
Across this barren lake my ghost did sail
lost and heading straight into another hell
Behind, remnants of a dark and wayward past
treasures stored that shall never last
Sunny skies ever looking down upon me
joined by those memories soul sought to flee
No wind to send my ghost sailing right along
on the shore images of a faceless throng
So far ahead a welcoming sandy white beach
forever racing farther and farther from my reach
No deeds to perform to gain my deep reprieve
only memories of those I so easily did deceive
Within this lonely lake a single Soul cries out
forgive me , forgive me , in a wailing shout!
Robert Lindley
note: Once a man raced about all alone,
stumbled upon a rolling stone,
fell into a headlong dismay,
gathered the courage to just pray,
Words that did by faith then atone,
soon the condemnation was forever gone..
The poet hears the river’s cry
In the flow of waters going by
Ebb and flow, calm and storm
The poet finds the river’s form
In verse – in words that soothe and lift
The river’s wound the water shifts –
From idle streams on mountain keeps
To waterfalls that never sleep
And brooks that ease through valleys by,
Which understand the river’s cry,
To the river flowing ever on
To the verse, the poem and the poet’s song –
Oh, the poet knows the river’s cry
In the verse it lays at waterside
Nearer now than the muse it knows
For the poet knows the verses flow
From the flow of waters going by
Where the river goes, where the river cries
Mother Nature Cries
Mother Nature cries now her deep tears of true sadness,
For all the years of Man’s sad shame and utter madness.
Man has brought this lovely lady quite often to tears,
By his poor and pathetic care of our Earth over the years.
Mother Nature’s been with Man now it seems forever,
And he does nothing at all and always tells her never!
Man’s climate sins are so tragic and always most telling,
And all he does is ***** and moan, and keeps on yelling!
Man’s span of existence is short in our Earth’s long life,
And all he’s done is corrupt, pollute and caused her strife!
Mother Nature cries at this sad tragedy Man has thus wrought;
She knows his life on Earth may be short, and learn he’ll Not!
Mother Nature will adapt and evolve over time with no problem,
And she knows Man’s adaptability to change may be a problem.
Perhaps Man will learn this sad lesson here before all is too late,
And seek climate harmony in all he does and make positive his Fate!
Mother Nature cries—yet this can change with Man’s redemption,
If Man becomes Earth’s Good Steward and lives by God’s direction!

A blazing Sun abruptly appears
Indulged in selfish applause
Heartless to the core, her light declares
She governs the Universe
The Sun gets only a glimpse of the Moon
Jealous of the Stars who pave the night's way
She races to conspire with the Horizon
To keep the Moon at bay
Melancholy is the Moon as night draws near
Chilled with howling cold and fear
Unspoken words hang stiff in the air
Each has felt them like a prayer
The Moon sits in shadows of his own silhouette
To endure thousands of years in silence
Staring through space with hollow eyes
There are no words, the Moon only cries

He's used to war, he fights real hard,
He's a soldier, he's battle scarred.
The enemy is weak, there is nothing to fear,
His compassion is gone, he has no tears.
He was taught well, was taught how to kill,
He's done it so much, it's lost it's thrill.
He no longer feels bad, when the enemy dies,
Tears don't come any more to his tired eyes.
In the beginning it was against his will,
But he soon broke down, and got used to kill.
Never thinking that his foe, was also just a man,
Like him with a family, doing the best he can.
He cannot have feelings, for anyone,
But then, for a moment, he thinks of his son.
He wants to go home, but it's not time yet,
So he goes back to a war, that he wants to forget.
Next day on the beach, on his tour of duty,
Lies a child's body, on the coast of Turkey.
He cannot believe what he sees with his own eyes,
A cute little boy, with no signs of life.
Lying face down, right there on the sand,
He picks him up, with his big strong hands.
And when he saw that there was no hope,
The soldier realized he could not cope.
He shuddered deeply...letting out a sigh,
And that's when...the soldier cried.
Now the whole world mourns that little boy,
Many children elsewhere, receive another toy.
Yes, people stand by, while these refugees die,
Some see the news and say, please...pass the pie.

My pulse is weak; it flutters while I plead
for air to give my lungs a chance to breathe.
Abuse must stop, or soon my heart will bleed.
My virgin flesh despoiled and robbed for greed,
in pain I cringe and hide my face in shame.
My pulse is weak; it flutters while I plead.
Entwined in thorns, I’m begging to be freed.
My lips are dry; they thirst for kiss of life.
Abuse must stop, or soon my heart will bleed.
These ailing limbs, unwilling to concede
defeat, as vibrant echoes numb the mind.
My pulse is weak; it flutters while I plead.
Mankind is blind, appears to take no heed.
The soul is lost and time is running out.
Abuse must stop, or soon my heart will bleed.
On verge of suffocation, I’m in need
of love and hope to sprout from hidden seed.
My pulse is weak; it flutters while I plead.
Abuse must stop, or soon my heart will bleed.

It doesn't matter what you say because I'm going insane
I've put a bullet in my brain, what's the name of the game that I have play to be free?
It really doesn't matter what anybody says to me, they didn't listen when I was spilling my guts, dropping pills and believing my paranoia
Even though paranoias just a frame of mind.
Now what is this I'm seeing when I'm swimming through a river of blood and shutting down
Drop another round begin to feel the love with an amorous desire for life or I'm lying
While I'm dying on the floor when I failed trying to stand back
Managed my doubt that the black cloud over my head will retract now and stop shrouding my world with its shadows and down pours
I'm damn bored, no I'm ill and what else can I feel?
What else do I need? I need motivation to succeed and achieve where I'm heading, where I'm going and where do I want to be at.
I haven't got a clue, I stopped thinking and stopped drinking and lost all my tact
It doesn't take long for the river of blood to start flowing again, it's rushing towards me and adroline is flowing through my veins
Depression often does it to the next sufferers head and you know it's getting bad when the rivers running red
It doesn't really matter what meds you use you always hear stories of the drug being abused and self medicating is just something that you choose
So if you don't have a plan about where you want to be take a f*** load of drugs and live a false reality
Its been going on for years and I got bored to f****** death
Fed up living life like it's a school exam test
I'll admit that pills, weed and coke can be fun for some in moderation but I won't again let them make me feel like I'm staring down the barrel of a shotgun.
Now my head is clear I'll let you in on one thing, you won't get where you're going if you keep living in a dream there's only two true things in life that arnt lies
And there's two true things in life that never dies and those two things are called smiles and cries
Is it a tragedy or comedy if you find comedy in tragedy
Her eyes show so much emotion inside
She has certainly formed a trail of tears
Leaving marks where the tears rolled down her face
There’s no greater pain than what’s on her face
The feeling she has, grows from the inside
She cries so much there are a lot of tears
She knows no other way but to cry tears
Sullen look forms on her, right on her face
Crying also happens way deep inside
From inside she cries tears onto her face

Death's malodor dances
with winds of lament
heart wonders, mind ponders
watching sunset lose her grace,
time has become an adversary,
pulsating in our misfortune,
orchestrating a tragedy of love
heart wonders, mind ponders
in the hope of tomorrow,
silence cries for my untouched lover.
How unjust life would be
if my last sigh was not in her presence
heart wonders, mind ponders
pangs of passion plead,
to gaze into her eyes,
to lose myself in her scent,
to kiss the gloss of her lips,
to merge like ink and paper.
Devoted in an euphoric embrace,
illuminating like a perpetual rainbow
but
Romeo's curse contaminates our destiny -
her heart weeps, searching for a cure.

Writing words across a clear blank page…
Sharing thoughts let out of a cage…
Toss it up into the sky…
Watch it scream as it flies...
Over bent back treetops that hide rainbows…
Grabbing colors like a picture show…
From my fingers to your eyes…
The words read clear in soulful cries…
Toss it back up with your smile…
And blow a kiss that covers miles…
To my hand it returns with peace…
As poetry glides with tender ease…
