Premium Member Through Life's Clenched Jaw

"The casket, laden with flowers disappeared as the curtain was slowly drawn.
If not before, now was the time for all those crying to mourn." The poet.

Immortality has always been an impossible dream.
The notion of living forever had lost its gleam.
When illness befell me and I wished for it to end,
Life led me to the soothing words of a friend.
Confusion overwhelmed me, I knew not where to turn.
Life led me to where I realised, I knew I could learn.
Despair and heartache let me see nothing but strife,
I was led to Christ my saviour who brightened my life.
Feelings of comfort and security and being held tight,
Brought love to my being and I knew all was right.
In the wild the young are held tenderly by clenched jaw,
Just one of the reasons a nurturing parent is for.
I have trod this earth for many a worthwhile cause,
With laughter and tears, in the safety of life's clenched jaws.
Its now time for the jaws to release my soul and open wide.
Not the end, this life let me go and I am at my Maker's side.

Cause for mitigation of extreme stipulation

The dilapidated building wavers the hindsight
In a single city
Hidden conformity owns?
A previous creation of economy
Current currency in ink creates no mad article
One must adhere in the thick heat while justice witnesses change
The current volume of water "allowed" from water station
From station to station the ear is clipped in interest if reported earnings.

In this fashion panic has created itself a source of retired journal timing.

Cycle of labor markets itself
Not a new nor another
Speak easy
Speak easiest

Differing reason in seasonal appearance

In the space a forgotten person is left to entertain
The remainder of civilization has been acquired
The unfinished civilized area per "your" affront, complaint, insult
Inflammatory remarks is creation of code
Creating colony
Demanding colonization by war

Karma Dogma

If intent and actions
are cause and effect
and influence the future
what you give is what you get
and yet
what about children
caught in the crossfire
when very young
murdered in man's mire
they have not yet begun
to live
and love is all they have to give
so much for karma
symbolised by the lotus flower
but whereabouts is it
in their most needed hour
forsaken by fortune
they answered fate's call
tho' no reason not to do good
our own sad destiny awaits us all

Premium Member Cause and effect

each effect has a cause
be gentle and mindful
as we sow, so we reap
poised in the void let us
take a consciousness leap

each effect has a cause
settle all debts of love
ensuring heart is pure
forgive, forget, move on
in tranquil peace endure

each effect has a cause
though this life will roll on
if we be nonchalant
in state of surrender
twists of fate do not daunt

each effect has a cause
yet karma is burnt off
once cravings are released
our suffering then ends
since ego is deceased

Give Life To Those Worthy For Your Cause

Waste no life to those who don't appreciate you
Waste no love to those who don't wait for you
Waste no tears to those who don't want you
Waste no energy to those who don't need you
Waste no words to those who don't hear you
Waste no time to those who ignore you
Waste no heart to those who give you pain
Give your life only to those who give you importance
Who give you worthy of respect and appreciation
Who helps you with no string attach
Who cares for your in times of troubles
Who prays for you fervently and secretly
Who loves you with their actions hidden in your eyes.

Your calm betrayal
forms rivers of crimson tears
that stream down my cheeks.

Your rabid fury
cleaves trails of searing anguish
that blaze through my heart.

It started with me
creating a false idol
in your likeliness.

Perpetuated
by your homily preaching
of a twisted grace.

I shouldn’t have knelt
to worship at your alter
of fallible love.

Premium Member pause the cause

“may gifts of silence illumine our mind ~
childlike heart becoming loving and kind”
            ~ quote by poet

as we gather pebbles in our heart’s nest
we may do well to pause and then reflect
that all we hold onto death’s tongs will wrest
leaving our deluded soul here shipwrecked

play of life is in incessant motion
where we cannot cross the same river twice
a quiescent heart ending commotion
whence each moment in time is paradise

gifts of solitude strengthen fortitude
that poised in the void by thoughts not decoyed
our aura is with love and light imbued
revealing pure light of Self unalloyed

contrast desire with soul’s eternal fire ~
search for truth within, in silence inquire

Lost Cause

A plethora of knots came undone,
An amazing friendship torn apart,
Now she holds the loaded gun,
With it pointed straight at my heart,
Heavy clouds block the sun,
You were a lost cause from the very start.

Cause for Worry

He scratched your back, now he needs bail;
It’s payback time cause he’s in jail.
This pest has tagged your buttonhole.
A cause for worry, you poor soul.

Of course, he needs money, bold cash;
and you fear potential backlash.
One-time friend?  Consider pest control;
some cause for worry, you poor soul.

He ‘knows’ you’ll help him, good buddy.
TV news reports quick study -
the judge has ruled against parole.
Less cause for worry, you poor soul.

More news details - "pest" has no clout.
It may be years before he’s out;
he lied in court; he’s dug a hole.
No cause for worry, you poor soul…

there was a turkey named Tom
who loved to gobble up all of the worms
one bright Thanksgiving Day
he became the cause célèbres
and had with the ax come to terms

For the cause of love

I wish to punish,
Nor burden you with pardon.
My only last wish
Is to keep burning love’s flame
That shows, love’s free from all blame.

Premium Member True To The Cause

In the heart's quiet chambers, a fire burns bright..
Faith and loyalty, I do what is right.
Words I embraced, of promises you told..
Nothing ever happens, the stories getting old.

Loyalty whispers, to be honest and true..
But somehow, this never applies to you.
You act like a child, when caught in a lie.
The cold hard facts, you cannot deny.

Truth comes to light, nothing concealed..
In a world of unrest, your lies are revealed.
Each step we take, a rhythm, a song..
True to the cause, this is where we belong.

The Edge of Time

I’m sitting on the edge of time
For just a disembodied pause,
While pointed hands o’er rounded chime
Obey the pendulum’s swayed cause.

Where kinetics’ course is lastly laid,
Comes forth the pointing to a door
That opens wide. Be not afraid,
I think, to thereupon explore.

And there I search the sea, in stay,
For those few drops that speak of me.
Below a crystal clouded day,
I look for cause and clarity.

But deep inside, my inner clock
Is calling forth its metered rhyme.
Inclined I am to learn like Locke,
I’m also tuned by trembling tine.

The edge of time is thinner than
The fairest maiden’s finest hair,
Yet broader is the settled plan
That puts us just exactly there.
