The Candle Trusted The Flame

The candle trusted the flame,
So warm, so near, so bright.
It leaned into the dance of fire,
Believing it was light.

But love that flickers, fierce and fast,
Can scorch what seeks to stay.
Now wax runs down like falling tears,
The flame still sways,
while the candle melts away.

Soon the flame too will burn out,
For after we consume others,
So are we

The last dance

Night. Walk in, light the candle, watch as the flame dances across the wall.
Finally, it feels okay. 
Kneel by the side, hopefully by the side of the one who watches.
Tell me that, that it will be alright
…Or take me. 
The dancing ember looks me in the eye. He nods.

I watch a candle flame, 
Steadily burning in my room, 
In the darkened room,  
Its shadows cast a spell of despair. 

In a lighted room, 
Stare into the steady flame, 
Connect your mind with deep consciousness, 
Spread your wisdom as candle flame spreads its light. 

Sometimes, the flame flickers, 
Like hesitations in our mind,

One Flame

each candle contains a Flame
life abounds within its Light
Fire when these Flames unite
and banishing the darkness

warm comfort flows from within
drives away the biting cold
the wind of division blows
extinguishes one candle

where once each formed The Fire
individuals, yet one
this missing Light makes all less
less Light, less warmth, comfortless

tears of grief fall on the wicks 
Flames sputter and

I am but a little candle
Shining dimly in the night.
Casting shadows in the darkness
With my frail and feeble light.
But despair won’t overwhelm me
For as small as I might be
My wee flame is ever present
For another soul to see.

There are torches all around me
Giving off much light and heat.
And I fear I pale in contrast
Quite unable

The candle’s flame still dances with the breeze
    and casts her playful shadows on the wall
that pique imaginations with a tease
and bring back ancient memories that please,
        and yet her flame’s not bright as I recall.

This once tall, slender beauty was quite chic,

A candle is lit in a small dark cave,
Upon these walls shadows in EDM rave,
Flickering flame kiss cool, damp ambience,
Small Sparks fly up igniting silhouette.

Laughter, sinful pleasure in danger grave,
Misplaced desires, in handcuffs and enslave,
Whispers deafening, instantaneous,
Extorted dancers to owe reaper’s grim debt.

You turned me into  a trick candle flame,
when it flickered you lit a spark; 
Making me believe again was your aim; 

When I  needed it you gave me acclaim; 
a soft glow in the midst of the stark;

Embracing everything that wasn’t tame 
never leaving me

the solitude of darkness
		I am the name

I am the sound 
of the moniker 
and bound

To hold the meaninglessness 
 of a darkness 

in a
		Darkened  frame

In a dark space
		In a dark place

Just beyond 
		The Candles claim 

And will be remembered
		So long

candle flame cleansing
breath work so extraordinaire
hyper vigilance

daily mindfulness
astounding self awareness
soul finds her answers

Candle Flame Dance

The flame dances on a breeze;
Candlelight dances on the walls.
Amazing shadows will be seen;
Wherever those flames may fall.

Such magical creatures are candle flames;
Mesmerizing beings.
Up there on my Mantle,
The dancers play out scenes.

They dance to their own stories;
Amazing mysteries.
No choreographers paint such glories;
The flames, quite creative, be.

Candle flame or burning fire;
They never fail to inspire.

In life take care of yourself first
because you come in this world once.
To complete duties to the last
you need to give your life full chance.

If your main mission is to serve,
in life take care of yourself first,
for you can’t care for those you love
if your shadow of shield doesn’t last.

Dazzling candle flame   
Grand luminous vibrations
Warmly melting wax

Candle Flame

The drop of fire stealthily burns
A tender angel descended into darkness
Spirit raised by my own hand
It grasps into the viscous air
Clinging, to rise, struggle, survive,
Calmly watching I realise I created torment
The flame needed me to live
I needed it to feel safe
Then I wonder who's need is greater
The creature of the creator?

The fire on my face
burns and burns and burns
like the beacon in an ancient lighthouse
just to see you look at me,
I hide behind the person in front of me,
I know that you were looking, 
I've seen you do it before, 
but you've never seen me look back,
the fire, 
it burns so pleasantly,
