Buy Food Poems | Examples

At The Mall

Darn dogs bark, disturbing my thought
Two canucks in a truck never give up,
With a wide turning radius they hobble the curb,
Parking in stalls, for small cars,
One stops next to you, to block the view,
The senior’s scooter pushes through
The traffic, at the shopping mall
All with conflicting purposes
Trying to buy food ~psp

Ready To Help Anytime

Ask your heart, what you can do in life
Ask your eyes, why can't see others for help
Is it because you don't have money
Is there all with material things
Do body language to inspire others
You have your charisma to energize others
Wear your smile to warm their days
Tap the shoulder for those in silence
Say hello to those you meet
Wave your hands to a friend
Send a greeting message thru text
Take a deep breath in the woods
Give alms to the poor at the street
Buy food at the corner to sustain business
Help the household chores and clean sorrounding
If you have excess money, help others to alleviate life
If you haven't anything, just stay good citizen
Always ready your hands, feet, talents and skills
To help others for emergency purposes and disasters alleviation.

a hot day and a smelter

A hot day and a smelter

Is it in Qatar, or in Dubai a friendly aluminum
smelter for sale, the one in the picture on a TV add
looks ok
Now that my wife is on holiday with her aunt I cruse
on the TV, but this is the first time I have come across
a smelter of aluminum
I buy food at the deli and warm it at home, taste
remarkable like my wife's cooking, not that I have seen
her peeled potatoes.
She hollers, come and get it and slams the cooking
lids together
I have had many cars, old ones, mainly because
I can't afford the taxi fare, I have no money to
buy a new car.
Aluminum smelter!
Wouldn't that be amazing?
I met a man in a bar who said he was a retired poet
spent his time writing slogans on walls
I told him about the affable smelter in Dubai
the retired poet looked out of the window
picked up his notebook and took no interest
in my smelter
He had seen a donkey with a straw hat and
regretted his retirement

Premium Member Cost Of Living

Have you priced a roast or a steak lately
or tried filling your tank with gasoline?
The cost of living has increased greatly:
while companies blame it on going green.

Corporations are raking in billions
while some struggle to buy food and pay rent.
I recall when houses didn't cost millions
and people valued coins, even a cent.

Greed sets the price we're all willing to pay:
there are no limits or apologies.
Those in power view poor people as prey,
and bleed us dry with new technologies.

Rising costs fuel the anxiety
prevalent in modern society.

ONLY JUST A DAD

ONLY JUST A DAD

Dad comes home with a sore back
It feels like every bone in his body has been attacked
Bringing home a little bit of money
To buy food for the children's tummies
His heart is always in the right place
He would always hit head-on whatever he faced
He is a proud dad of four
His only income came from the bank and a small meat store
Slowly every day he goes to work
He knows deep down he is being overworked
And he gets very little perks
He has no hate but just a lot of pain
But the next day he will do it all over again
He will always be super proud
For the life he chose and found
To this day he always strivies to do better
Even with all the pressure he will
Always find a way to keep us all together
He always will strike for perfection
Maybe that comes from my father's reflection
I hope they all remember that there is always
More to a dad than just a name
Never be a shame
And remember you always have much to gain

The Guard

The guards

They are coming, who are coming
I feel the dust, a dry power from the dry land far, and hear they must have marched long
Are they churning the land with restless feet
I don't know, I hear the humming
animals flee from their newborn ones, too late
the hum will burst their ears.
We are not rabbits, get ear-mufflers and bravely fight
do not give in before the humming stops.
They are coming closer, my lord. Who is coming closer, the ugly old man who sings loudly and farts
on stage, did you mean drumming? Of course
What can we do? Buy food for the weekends, buy beer
switch off the TV, radio, and internet, we must suffer to
ride on broomsticks to a land of pink flowers sweet lambs, and tiny Bambi deer.
Waving leather-bound bibles, we shall overcome.

Premium Member A Day In the Life - Act 7

He sat on a bench in the Boston Common one day and watched children play, people drinking LATTE’S walk their dogs, the homeless scavenge, and the alkies and addicts beg for money. A somewhat disheveled gentleman asked him for money to buy food. He replied: “Well you’re in luck I was just about to go to lunch would you like to come along?” The gentleman hesitated and quietly asked: “Really?” And they were off for burgers, fries, coffee and dessert. It may not have been a happy meal but it brought a smile to both their faces.

Rich and Poor Statement

Globally people can be divided into two groups the rich and the poor.
People with little money are poor people.
They send their children to work to meet daily expenses of life.
Poor people do not have ample resources to satisfy their needs.
They struggle very hard in order to survive.
Rich people have sufficient revenue to satisfy their wants and needs.
They can buy food, house, car and clothes etc.
They can afford expensive treatment and academic fees.
They can enjoy luxuries and freely travel the world.
It is impossible to live a good life without money.
It would be nice If those who really need help could get it from rich people.

Big Rats In Cobenhagen

Big rats in Copenhagen

The biggest supermarket in the world tons of wasted food
rats grew so big they couldn’t live in sewers but nestled
in the tall grass or built tunnels.
Something had to be done, rats didn’t hesitate to attack
toddlers in a pram; cats stayed at home sleeping
on the sofa, knowing they were no match against this enemy.
In this world of spoilt consumers, a banana had to be bright yellow
not a speck of marks on the fruit, lettuces had to look harvested
an hour ago, and the onion had to look new.
What to do with this new plague?
A bright person suggested giving excess food to the poor
and to the old on low pension.
After some economic indecision, the poor also to buy food
the supermarket relented and gave the wasted food away.
It was successful rats shrunk in size went back to the sewers cats came out.
People didn’t realize poverty were the poor as usual
was not seen.

Life Vs Money

With money You can buy house
But not home,
With money You can buy clock
But not time,
With money You can buy food
But not appetite,
With money You can buy doctor
But not a good health,
With money You can have an insurance
But not safety,

And this is the problem that we all have
There are things that,
You cannot buy with material world
With MONEY...??

Had Been a Bill Found On the Floor

Had Been a Bill Found on the Floor

There had been a bill found on the floor,
Which helped unemployed and the poor,
And we agreed,
For those in need,
Of stamps to buy food with at the store.

Poem a collector's item soon became,
Never would find any fortune or fame;
Often sought;
Loved a lot,
And I had been given all of the blame.

What should I do for another encore;
Demand my poems write many more;
Personal protection;
Great selection,
Am a poet who they call a paramour.

Instead of having appeared as humanistic,
According to latest latent and strict statistic,
And each word,
Completely absurd;
Poem made by moron who may be a mystic.

Premium Member A Simple Choice

Should I pay this
Or should I buy that
Never had to choose before
But thats where my life's at

Should I buy food for my children
Or turn back on the heat
I worry most about their empty stomachs
But a warm house for a change, sure sounds sweet

Maybe some shoes that fit them
So they can go back to school
I don't dare send them with what they have now
Seems classmates can be so cruel

But my children are healthy
Beautiful and strong
it's not wealth that will make you happy
it's been the richness of family, all along

Fed Up

Fed Up (with the Shutdown)

Go to work everyday,
but I don’t get paid
MasterCard creditor chain letters
said I was a New America
	    debt slave

Was Union told the Federate zeroes
on my paycheck is retroactive
Ain’t got no money to buy food tho’ ...
guess I have to survive
on government
          sound-byte fumes to live

I’m fed up with the Federal shutdown,
I’m sick and tired
of listening to Dem Republican clowns

Been going to work every unpaid day,
and I ain’t noticeably gotten any
Benjamin balm better
So weary from getting frozen wages —
I seek chimney heat,
by bitterly burning those personal
property auction letters

Was blue blot told the blank gray zeroes
on my pay stub is rebel non-negotiable
Ain’t got no cash to purchase gas tho’ ...
guess I gotta suck up
mo’ government
          sound-byte fumes for po’ survival

I’m fed up with the Federal shutdown,
I’m hurting from hearing
White House noise by Congress clowns

Go to work everyday,
but I ain’t yet been paid
MasterCard creditor chain letters
said Freddie Irish me was a ***** Adopted

Premium Member Wont You Help America---

WON’T YOU HELP AMERICA---

Elderly man bout to fall
Won’t you help him America?
Frail ole lady has no food
No one has a cares nor has a cue
Won’t you help her America?
Homeless and despondent
Have no one that they can trust
Disillusion misplaced and shun
Have nowhere to call home
No monies for room or board society snores
Can’t buy food at any store
All of this while the rich are rich
Middle class poor could care less
They’ve got theirs and you can get yours;
What’s more worst than elderly poor
Won’t you breathe your last breath?
Why don’t you help middle class?
This is no way to act, to treat the elderly
Won’t you help America?
