There was once a girl named Bree

Who shared her streaming account with Dee

But Dee told her Mom

Then her cousin and Tom

Now everything buffers eternally

Premium MemberThe Looking Glass

The day I looked and saw sea in its entirety
I cringed at its depth and prayed for mercy

I saw the good, the bad, and the ugly, and
Felt compelled to learn from helpful hands

For one hand washes the other hand
Just as the ground that buffers as I stand

I saw remorse in its entirety
For I knew of lives dying to save you and me

I looked and saw everybody
Some undoing the do, some shunning the Almighty.

Beyond eyes, nose, and skin, we are one
Our innermost parts the same held strong

And beauty becomes a thing the blind could see
And forgiveness was born for you and me

I looked and saw compassion in action
For now we stand above ground, and then we're done!

Rise Again

Tak oor grund from beneath oor hurdies

Burn oor birches aside the lough,

Besmirch hard fecht fur freedom,

Dictating oor days tae come,

No from the pint o a gun,

Fae laws an promises broken.

Lees an lees spout forth like watter

Lives expended as if they dinnae matter,

Feel the Jacobite spirit again,

Ready tae fecht like scotsmen again,

Like warrior poets risen from the glen,

Fae the mists o the past remember,

Oor freedom wis wun sending Edward hame,

Yon wis the past a new war begun noo,

No wi claymores ,targes an guns,

This time its ideals an Eton buffers,

Those who wid sell oor birthrights

Tae mak us slaves an servile peasants,

Using stealth ,treachery an unco ither weys

Rogues they be crooks ,cheats and thieves

Seeming beyond reproach wi things hidden

Frae us puir mortals aye they wull dae us doon,

Sic a time as this tae fecht fur whit is oors

Naw mair begging fur aa few scraps

Fae a table fu wi guid things ,

Scraps urny fur us we ur free loons

Burthit free an deeing we wull be free,

Ur ye ready tae rise yince agin?

Premium MemberBridge of No Sighs

Coming down to this lost pier
Under the bridge of no sighs
The bollards not used, no boats moor here
Back and forth on the river they ply
Carrying tourists, and locals as well
To destinations unknown
I do not envy them, though cannot tell
Which place to I do belong
This spatial disorientation
Is such an exhausting disorder
Dislodged, I offer frustration
For the ticket to cross your border
I hear the trains clanking buffers
Over the bridge they rush through
You say there’s no reason to suffer
I would love to agree with you.

Elephant trunk palms column, canopy claps hands
Undergrowth glad heart shape leaves spiral
Navigator vines map branches, brace boa banyan
Utile duenna diary with my duties conspiring
Chaperone rope binds silent beside my grand plan

Helpmaster holsters my faltering stride, hips squared
Essential weapon for war against mediocrity
Netted fruit bag binds ideas, ripe inspiration shared
   Collaboration binges exchanges evocatively
Oversees growth, buffers fumbles, humiliation spared

Unbias advisor straddles drama, miniscule mosquitos
Raised beyond current, stilts lift clear of silt
Above ravaging river, twig leg log cabin cosy kudos
Guileless sunrise server castrates lumpy guilt
Enmeshed mirror wishes bud symmetrical smiling rose

Mentor each moment monitor prods my furtive dreams
Enlivens rainblur haze, unravels twisted maze
Narrows channel between now and zany zone supreme
Twines possible to present, pours zesty praise
Strengthened, gender invalid, my meridian self esteem

Premium MemberWomen

We beheld sun, moon, stars, because,
The Almighty buffers, like sensuous raft.

Only passion ushers us to spring,
The Almighty knows...

Multitude from natures' course, plucked
Rearranged like climate change,

Enough is enough! Eons ago we were the world
Evergreen, replenishing earth.

Now as then, solidarity reigns supreme, still,
We're so clean, so heaven bound?

To a Point

TO A POINT

As the wedge thins to the end
And all options have dissipated
Time for alternatives has passed
Just straight on into the buffers
Maybe then this crazy life of late
Hurtling on at increased pace
Will stop and pause for breath
Perhaps to rearrange the pieces
And never again to wonder
What else it could have been
Except a full persistent drive
To reach the end, now in sight
Then sadly, maybe to realise
This is it, as was meant to be
To have lived and been loved
And loved to the full in return
No inscriptions on grey stone
Except perhaps to be missed
That will at least be something
As real as any good memory

Inside the puffy white cloudy up above high
Inside the purple gathering skies soars flies
Flowing falling droplets of I'll waters wallows
Raining down showers as cumulus gathering
Tainted mix gray and white shadows buffers
Like marshmallows dark skies cover my eyes
                                   ~
Drop, drop, falling drops falls splashing dots
Thousands of drips of waters hits the tops of
My head face my lips and eyes cries saturated
So by the storm guttering winds how can I be
Now dry but the essence moisture condensation
Covering me wholly blue over in shadows dews

Olympic Pressure

Imagine being Katie or Naomi or Simone.
The world has expectations and it won’t leave you alone.
Your performances’ perfection has been touted and extolled,
So anything will be a loss if it won’t get the gold.

Well, pressure takes its toll and therefore, even with the buffers
Of team and coach support, sometimes a well-rehearsed act suffers.
Katie* gets the silver as the Aussie’s time is faster;
Naomi** loses to a Czech, a Japanese disaster.

And Simone***, the gymnast everyone believes to be the best
Leaves the competition early, feeling out of sorts and stressed.
It seems the build-up is too much and many athletes just
Cannot function when their hopes and dreams may suddenly combust.

A Gift

A tiny blossomed flower amidst a flat and barren ground

It shimmy’s in the wind with no buffers or surrounds

A mornings limber stretch to greet the sun-filled sky

Offering a gazing gift to any random passer by

If only to be remembered when it’s persistence is through

It’s life of simple pleasure bestowed solely upon you

2020

Gleaming gadgets galore...
Aquarius is speaking new lore.

Drive-thru getting longer
Hunger pains growing stronger

Pleasurable engagements and easing pain on fleek
Mindless stimuli and opioids we seek

Civil unrest amid quarantine
Masks coming off, no buffers between

Loud is getting louder
Apathy growing dour

Watermelons without seeds in abundance
DNA heisting and genetic gold cumbrance

My vision is crystal clear
2020: a year of fear

Distractions

Routine always goes hard;
reality buffers,
May it go in any context..
everyone is hurt,
everyone suffers!
In all the time we get for us,
we tend to keep away from all the routine buzz!
Music, movies, sports, books or anything may give a jerk,
or mere talking to someone for the time may also at times work!
From all the reality and from every fact,
we always find a way to distract!

Creativity Limit

Straight forward basic life
complicated by living
Insignificant activities
essential essentials, essentially
I’ll live my way, I’ll die one day

Sanity is the crazy
restraining eccentricity
living in real time eyes
the buffers of real skies
the blinkered genius fries
Reigned creation, monotony motivation

Everyday resignation, imagination stifle
future dreams, behind the everyday
Shoot me -
use my rifle.

The Ecstasy I Feel When I Walk With Nature

The ecstasy I feel when I walk in the wild,
A rendezvous with nature, a smile every mile.
Unique is her temperament, even though she suffers,
If she feels embarrassed, her finesse hits the buffers!
That's when the weather can become precarious.
She loses the plot when she becomes delirious.
Pollution the cause of her fickle demeanour.
Days when she's bad, but most days she's meaner.
Gallivanting all over till she finds somewhere to settle
She knows she's better and is now regaining her metal
Not normally nonchalant in her ongoing endeavours
But pollution puts her under all sorts of low pressures
Having had what she calls the shortest hiatus,
Knows were mad, she tries hard to placate us.
For weeks now she appears to give her very best.
However, she knows I know its done under acquiesce
