As the first beams of light,
Barged into my dark room,
Saw dew drops glistening,
On spring flowers that bloom.
Kaleidoscopic hues,
Dispelling all my gloom.

Oh! My choked voice
Thundering bits of utterance
Flowing streams of strong desir
My heart pierced words
Ah! Ah! Comes my voice
Oh! My shackled voice
Free me from this prison
My bounded heart desire
Proclaim my enchanted words
Ah! Ah! Comes my song
Oh! Lift the joyful strain
I thirst for words untold
Barged with sweety distills
My tongue dice in pain
Ah! Ah! Comes the melody
Oh! I stands in his pavilion
Griddled with splendour of praise
Freely lay in his glittering arm
The hymns of angels delight
Ah! Ah! My victory conquered song
Oh! My chanting hallelujah
Hallelujah hails the angels
My silence shall sing divine
The king shall rise with gladness
Ah! Ah! My cheerful voice adore
Oh! How his kindness comfort
Justly claims a song for him
Immortal one unseen
Mysteries of his love unrevealed
Ah! Ah! Melodious songs of joy
Oh! This gift of mine
Behold this gift you gave
To sing your worship alone
Faithfully smear your rule to all
Ah! Ah! Revive my speech to sing for you

They touch me inside and out
They twist and turn me all around
I feel locked in
And trapped out
I can be small Or large
I can be pressed and barged
I have no space
And i'm stuck in one place
I break when were robbed
im a door knob

Can I move forward in faith to believe,
That you still have someone out there for me,
I recalled when it all started when I was so hopeful, and at peace,
Abuse barged through my door as if it recognized me,
It was forceful, and controlling to try and break me down,
It threatened my life over and over trying to keep me around,
I desperately tried to run, but it was evil and relentless,
Every time I got a moment of peace, it intentionally tried to prevent this,
Like it had feelers and knew I was coming back to myself,
It quickly interrupted any peace I began to have felt,
It intentionally tried to replace hope and peace with fear,
Now that I am alone, I can see,
And thank God that He saved me from everything,
And that hope and faith from the beginning that I now thought was gone,
God gave me back twice the voice I had, and the strength to sing my song

When it rains, in her fancy,
She used to turn into a child,
Kicking water and playing in the puddles.
Today when rain has begun pouring down,
She can only see the sky weeping its tears,
Clouds smearing wet misery on Earth's face.
For reasons unknown,
Her heart shakes in agony,
Like a flower trembling on its delicate stem.
Lost in silence and solitude,
She throbs with a dull distracting ache.
Her mind has now become an abyss,
Where darkness has barged in like a marauder,
Where monsters of fear are hatched.
She feels suddenly thrown into the sea of emptiness,
And float ripped by its violent currents,
With no life boat in view for her rescue.
She knows there is a long way to swim
She wonders if she would reach a safe harbor
Or get drowned halfway?
Behind her, what does she hear?
Is it the roar of the Tsunami of grief? ?

I got my heart scarred,
It was you, so I was never scared.
Walking down the lane, that wasn't mine,
Having people 'round, who ain't allow me shine.
The moon's my witness, I crossed the line.
You're sunshine, you were my drug and wine.
You're mine, though I am not fine.
I ain't in the town and you're bottle's already down,
Only when I frown, you gimme the crown.
Am I your cast? When your world's running fast
Won't I be your past? Will I be your last?
Are you ready to run? Will you chuck out all the fun?
Although you're cun, you still ain't getting the pun.
Are you still the same? Even after the fame!!
Do you know my name? Or it just was a game?
Not knowing enough, have I shed my skin off?
Got into your hitch, became a bad b*tch,
I've been into Mitch, now he's out of my pitch.
I aged like Alchemist..and all I get is your fist?
Among all the mist, you barged out of my list.
YOU added flakes to my pizza,
Don't know if the flakes fell back into your eyes.
I'm sure you think I am the culprit for all,
Forgetting that I ain't the protector of all.
My list is open, for you to walk in,
Not sure you'll fall ill, still hoping you'd fall in.

She barged through the doors of the bank with her gun
And shot the security guard just for fun
She fired her gun and yelled “Down on the floor,
I’ve shot me one man, I could shoot a few more!”
One customer, Jenna, said, “Hold up, you cretin,
You half witted loser, it’s jail you’ll be gettin,
You charge in this bank with that soppy old pistol
I think I might kick your ass from here to Bristol.”
The robber, fired two bullets into the ceiling
And said, “I shall shoot anybody not kneeling.”
Jenna said, “I’m gonna laugh as you fry.”
The robber said, “You’d better reach for the sky.”
Armed police turned up; one lady arrested
Based on the ‘facts’ that another attested
The robber’s at home playing video games
And Jenna’s in jail for calling her names
And all the police wonder what to expect
Now that they’ve lost any public respect
At lunch break they wonder how low they could stoop
When they’re as inviting as watered down soup.
[What a coincidence; a poem about someone called Jenna enduring an injustice. Pure chance… honest, Guvnor!]

Playing possum
to an Alaskan grizzly
barged into his tent,
unsuccessful.
Good news and bad news.
Bad news first.
He was viciously mauled;
bitten in the back
and thrashed around
like a rag doll.
Good news.
He's still alive.
Thank God!

In On Wife Hates To Be Barged
In on my wife hates to be barged,
And ensure cell phone is charged;
So said consultant,
Reason resultant;
Causes brain to become enlarged.

Ann left her half-done villanelle
and rushed to answer her front door.
Her husband’s mama, Kay, barged in
and growled out snarky barbs galore!
“I’ve never seen such disarray.
Ann, when--for cleansers--have you shopped?
Have you washed clothes this century?
When were these nasty floors last mopped?
Look! Dishes piled up everywhere.
Dishwasher’s broken, I suppose?
Now TELL ME why you live this way!”
You might presume they came to blows.
Ann calmly said, “This house looks good.
You should have seen it Saturday
before I started cleaning up.”
Half-conscious on the floor Kay lay.
When she came to, she tried to speak.
Her mouth moved but no words came out.
Ann kindly walked her to the door,
so glad to say “good-bye,” no doubt.
Ann told her husband, “Hon, your mom
says our home is in disarray.”
“Our house looks fine to me,” he said.
"A silly thing for her to say!”

Who am I not to excuse and forgive
when the Solo God, His mercy would give.
Rage inside, I plead to God to erase
though much of pain has on the face left trace.
All the seasons barged into Springtime
and the Rose has to keep her scent sublime.
The birds would chirp and hail a rising dawn
as night would echo the woes of a swan.
Mind and heart are forever friends and foes
heart sins and mind reasons, one to dispose !
Sweet bitter life! blest to taste and survive
The Mighty, Beauty from Him we derive.

Straitened are the times
And tight is my pocket.
A glass of brandy
Consumed with contemplation
Is hard to bargain
As speculators have poured in
Shouting ‘buy’, ‘buy’, ‘buy’.
Since out is the signal
The hoarders have barged in
And have emptied the market
Of all the brandy, inclusive of
The liquors that brandished
Even a semblance of flavor
That reminded them of this brand.
After the run-on brandy
Its prices have rocketed sky-high.
Engulfed by indignation
But still the avid lover
That I am of this brand,
I emptied my purse
To offer me a bottle of brandy.
Sipping the liquor in a glass
And immersed in happiness
I sat reinstated to my senses
And to the art of philosophizing,
And wondered whether the glass
That I held in my hand
Was half-full or half-empty.
Misfit to this treacherous art
But tied to pitfalls in my daily life,
I sat there and gazed contently
Through my half-filled glass
With intent and pride, enthralled
That I did not have to complain
About things I can’t change.

Unrestful Sleep
I try to sleep all my problems away.
But when I wake up they are still there,
sitting on my brain
where I left them last night.
Last night I slept,
but I didn’t rest.
I woke up to unrest,
an unwelcome guest that
barged into my place one day.
It’s kicked its feet up
on my couch and table
for years
This morning when I woke up
I closed my eyes and imagined
The nightfall, even though at my
window are blue skies
Guess that’s enough unrestful
sleep for the time being.

Today as I was going into a store,
A guy said thank you for holding the door.
It made me smile that he was so courteous,
He could have just barged out,so ungracious.
This got me to thinking about how folks behave,
How, with this simple gesture a life you could save.
I read somewhere, a man who would smile or wave,
To everyone he passed by on his travels each day.
His wife asked, if he didn't know them, why wave.
He said he had read that someone thinking to die,
Would see that wave and suicidal thoughts would die.
So my friend you never know who you will pass by today,
Just give them a smile or a wave as you go on your way.
Most times the outcome you will never get to know,
But your attitude may sow gratitude and help someone grow.
