On waking from sleep,
before thought forms leap,
we in all fairness,
are pure awareness.
Alive and able
but with no label,
we are as we are,
a luminous star.
Remaining thus we
mirrorlessly see
with our inner sight,
that we’re living light.
Then looking at form,
manifests a storm
related to fear
of body held dear.
Putting thoughts on pause,
we discern the cause
of meanings assigned,
from truth misaligned....
