Abiding in Self

Life is but a dream we take as real, 
though mind has constructed the universe,
so save in silence, how can our heart heal,
by negating desire, ego spawned curse?

Abiding in Self and in Self alone,
being who we are at a stillness point,
we wake up in this dream, consciousness hone
and our innate light by intent anoint.

Being both

Our Love Abiding

Wave a magic wand.
Bring me to the pond
we two slowly strolled around.
Hand in hand, our walk, 
in soft tones, our talk, 
as, new love, we surely found. 

Overhanging trees,
gentle, soothing breeze,
swans, on the water, gliding,
as we did decide
you would be my bride,
since then, our love abiding.

Abiding Truth

   Practice rhymes with cactus
      piano, with woe

   Those who've suffered
      surely know

Abiding Peace

Remember to listen, beneath the whispers,
Where silence meets gentle,
Where kindness meets grace and light,
Light reflects the music of our praise, our souls,
Breaking through the stars, the heavens,
Stirring the beautiful found in the only One
Who can fill our spirits with love that is a miracle –
Sweetest miracle!

ABIDING LOVE

I saw you, looking at me
From a decent distance
I took my notice
And offered you calm resistance

I moved, you followed
Respectful, just waiting
Providing circumstances
That guided me toward participating

Finally, I cried out
"I need no nurturing here
I have defense mechanisms
Keeping me from slipping a gear

Without personalized care
Pouring into others
Never questioning what is

The Way She Talks

The way she talks....
as if a sweet bird sadly singing.
as if she's so sorry for the troubles
that we are having,
her face goes red like an apple,
not her fault,
but like a prayer in a chapel,
she seems to be apologizing.
not her burden,
but to carry it for calmness,
she's so abiding.

An Autumn Tree

Will such beauty endure? It surely must.
When Mankind’s traces vanish from the Earth,
our glories turned back to primeval dust,
millennia hence. And then perchance re-birth,
starting afresh with wondering eyes to see
abiding splendour in an Autumn tree.

     Babbling without an end, the... 

          Inexhaustible curiosities of children,

               Darling, as long as there is heaven above,

All the sorrow and pain
Breaking hearts, falling rain
Inspiring feelings so dismal
Dark doubts that are abysmal
It is almost like a sensation
Nothing alive in creation
Grieves like this degradation
