A million graves
One life but too many
Rivers of tears flowing endlessly
A stench of death in the atmosphere
Can't you see,we are dying here!
Even though our eyes cry endless tear
Flies like bodies drop every minute
Glass like hearts are broken to pieces
Tired of reading these Rest in peaces'
As though stars are granting the devil's wishes
To let as rest in peace
The real tragedy is the death of the living
The ones who can't keep up with all this grieving
The families breaking
The breadwinners losing
One positive case
Ten children starving
A hundred families broken
A thousand sources of income closing
A million graves of people ,Just walking
Dead men walking ?????
At death’s door we close our eyes on living.
Good we’ve done is our only claim to fame.
Lives we’ve helped to better through our giving,
are the heavenly fortitudes to name.
Questions asked regarding human treatment,
allow the soul to stand before their God.
Attesting acts of kindness were so frequent,
for just loving their brother wasn’t hard.
Yet, even in our passing hour we ponder,
Have I done anything of which I’m shame?
Fearful of approaching unknown yonder.
Are there enough good-deeds which I can claim?
Joys we brought others are our claims to fame.
“God, I left them smiling and not in pain.”
Powdered doughnuts, screaming children,
Noisy autos and a silly red hen,
All the things everywhere, that, this, and then.
A week or a day, a minute, and an hour,
Everything all the time, candy that is sour.
The moon and stars and universe too,
All things everywhere, everything for you.
Big trucks, toy cars, tall buildings in our view,
Twilight, baseball, even morning dew.
Mountain tops, puppy dogs, yummy ice cream floats,
Bicycles, lollipops, Cutesy-colored post-it notes,
All things everywhere, everything I want for you.
As children life is just a game we play,
Learning new lessons as we live each day.
Year after year as we grow and mature,
We sense that there’s more than to just endure.
We must have a purpose and not just fun,
Something worthwhile to pass on when we’re done.
Something to show others, we understand,
Encouraging words to be all that they can.
A guiding light as they live their own life,
Words that will help during struggle and strife.
Tell them of the common things that we share,
Demonstrate our love so they know we care.
Then pass on our truth as we say farewell,
Like teachers taught us, we should show and tell.

Hesitation greets me like a neighbor
Boring its eyes into my skull with a friendly smile
It has no face and no skin
It doesn’t even have eyes
The morning air is hot and solid
Like water but thicker
My hands are sweaty and covered in blisters
And my legs, do not respond
The air of dirty mornings
Shifts in scent
Till the sour tang of violence
Is hanging to interrupt
My soft bones of hesitation
Listen to be called out
For a violent lie
With violent intentions
Are never good for volatile patients
So I did grasp a hope of string
Around my neck did marry me
Such intimate things
To carry me
Away with hesitation and me.

giving
sharing
he’s a very loving, caring, man
and known for his giving, sharing, plan
I never ask for anything
that I don’t need,
I never beg,
I never shout,
I never pout.
I’m like a bird
with no wings
or no rout.
Giving money,
giving clothes,
giving everything that’s around you
and the closest to you,
but far nowhere near
the thought of giving support.
The money,
the nickels,
the dimes,
all of what can’t replace time
is the opposite of believing
in a single soul.
My mindset and motivation
doesn’t always run on money,
it runs on belief
and that is what keeps my engine going
during the hard times
of the storms and the clouds.
When I’m finally ready,
I will be shinny
more than the sun
has ever shinned
in front of the crowds.
I never do ask for what I need
because God already gave me
all of what I needed
deep down in my soul,
my heart,
and all of what’s around me—
the roof over my head
and a beautiful women
to motivate me,
to keep my engine going,
and to fight for what will be
forever ours in the future
and for what all we have left
on this earth.

Accommodating
Nurturing
Nurture the virtues of your eternal soul,
those attributes that are eternal.
Share your best, make it your goal,
let them manifest from the internal.
Let others see what will unfold,
as it extends from within to the external.
Share the creative energy, as you’ve been told,
open your mind like a ripe kernel.
Allow your thoughts to flow like a river,
share your gifts, be a giver.
Don’t hold back, it’s time to deliver,
use all the arrows in your quiver.
Nothing you’re given is meant to be held,
and never a time for talents to be shelved.
