I give my sincere thanks for the honor of receiving the POTW for my poem "Spring Enchantment."  I had not even noticed this award until today, because my health complications had left me too weak to swim the Soup for nearly a week (Oh! How time flies!) I am thankful to all who took the time to read it, and for the wonderful comments!  I  I have been bedridden since 2024 began and pretty much out of touch.  When I saw that this poem was given the POTW, I truly almost fell out of the bed!    When I first fell into Soup, I figured there was no way I'd ever rise to a POTD, so that made this award  a complete fantasy!  This poem was written, inspired by my husband of 40 years, in the peace of Forgiveness and innthe bible's definition of Love...after what was one of the worst fights we ever hsd.     I This learning about forgiveness over the years  -- old lady's realization  that God's created Love founds our forgiveness of each other...which was behind the inspiration for this poem...as well as being a foundation for a long lasting yearning & passion in a marriage, that keeps renewing.
