Carried me right away...read in a noisy room...in lots of pain...but this image and snow touch whisked me away and into a prayer hold touch of the Holy Spirit... You traveled far journey here and I traveled with you. Many thanks. Be well. Hugs Sally

Thank you my friend. Glad to have the very fine company on the journey! From youth , once upon a time...The old man had yet to become a reality. Now that he is, looking back seems to be an everyday venture...

Thank you my dear friend. May bountiful blessings grace you and your poetry continue to gift to us - its light, its truth and its deep poetic heart! As such is so very sorely needed in this dark and severely blinded world...

Thank you my friend. I have always been in tune with Nature, it is in my Native American bloodline to be so. Once in my youth hunting was a passion but I havent truly hunted now for about 29 years. God bless..

at some point we open that door, some beautiful peace and quiet to contemplate on self, away from the maddening crowd; the walk is leisurely along that old trail to that cabin, but never to be feared, what waits.

Thank you my friend. Yes, a pleasant memory inspired that piece. And true , life offers so very much to those that with diligence seek truly and search for its bountiful blessings without the usual fear the world so gladly provides,.. God bless..

My dear friend, your gifted pen spills dire ink. A strong sense of foreboding is conveyed through potent imagery in just a few words. Hampered by natural obstacles, a sense of desperation is keenly felt in your expressive haiku. Your talent shines, Robert, whether in the light or the dark, Robert. Warmest wishes.. ~Susan

Thank you my friend. One of the very few haiku I composed long ago. I had to correct it as back then I originally had the verses as 7.7, 5.. instead of 5.7.5.. original was - " cold snow, weary old hunter. old trail, cabin far away. prayer at sunset,"..... God bless.
